downloaded from the above, by entering a serial number. the location ASIA seems to be a incomplete download, only 35mb. I downloaded from europe and it came to be a 130mb file.
just flashed it. seems to be the upgraded radio version now.. took me barely 10 mins

Here are the answers from the PDF's...
181 will disconnect any connection when phone rings, except the Blackberry, Mobile Web and WAP connections. If you need to use a permanent GPRS connection that will remain connected when phone is used, you should use 187 version.

You can register a username for free on the O2 site, and get a password mailed to you. You will then be able to download the files.

Hm... I'm registred, but my credentials are not working...
You can follow the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=63862#63862 to get the upgrade working. mine is at 38% updated and I should be done in about an hour or so.

Check my post here. My guess is your previous upgrade set your operator in the device to a non-O2 value.

A release from O2Asia is expected. O2Asia usually follows about a week after O2UK, I think.
I havent have a htc diamond pro as yet but possibly Will be making a rom also for it, Here is a rom for you guys to play with.

This is a HTC ROM for devices with a HTC CID, remember we dont have HardSPL yet to get past this, patience sir

it's not branded, htc touch pro original/unlocked europe version from expansys. It seams that the cid from asia is diferent from the europe version then.

If someone posts it ill dump the drivers. The camera driver is prolly worth using. It may have some newer packages as well

BTW. On the new oem drivers ( new rilphone.dll ) my hsdpa network is flying ( U/H 2100 MHz )

recently bought a topaz and the factory rom which I have is 1.43.720.1.
I got this in India, does anybody know where I can find this same ROM, somewhere on HTC websites? or if anybody has it already can please share?

All depends on how urgently is your need to scratch the itch to upgrade the ROM of the phone. My new TD2 lasted 4 days before it was flashed... The dump is needed if you need to restore the phone for warranty purposes etc.

I'm trying to back up my stock ROM 1.43.720.1 (51718) WWE using xdatools and KovskyKitchen. The KovskyKitchen requires a stock ROM .nbh file to be in the Baserom folder. The one I could find here in this Topaz ROM dev forum is older ver i.e. RUU_Topaz_HTC_WWE_1.39.405.2_Radio_Signed_Topaz_61.20t.25.10_3.43.25.19_Ship.
My question is, suppose I use this in KovskyKitchen along with my stock ROM raw files, does it package with my stock rom or the older one?

if you need just a backup of the OS (the Radio is already available), why don't use DumpROM to copy it and then use RebuildROM to create a flashable .nbh file?
my td2 came with -1.43.720.2 (51718) wwe- in india
rom date - 6/15/09
just dumped and rebuilt the rom -- using dump my phone and rebuild rom
it does work on testing
i have uploaded the rom to megaupload

As far as I know, only 3.44.25.27 (without the A) is available. I don't know if there is a big difference.

Not as easy as dumping a ROM.
Search the WIKI, and the whole XDA-Developers and you will find some tips. But nothing special for Topaz

This is indeed the latest version of Topaz ROM till date from HTC!
But no official release from HTC support yet, the ROM is already 3 months old. Even I have not flashed my topaz yet, just waiting for an official release of this version!

It looks like there is a new rom on the American HTC Support Pages, apparently reserved for Brightpoint Customers (don't really know what this is).
The version it is supposed to flash is 1.10.422.2.
I cannot download it, as it requires to submit the serial number and I have an european model, thus I get "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device.".

I've bought Iolite from USA, but my serial number isn't working too.
I think this firmware for operator version of Iolite, because on name of page is
