player that consume little memory??? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Accessories

tell me what player for listening music do you use, and how many memory it consumes!!! tnx for replay!!!

I'm using HTC Audio manager and that "eats" about 7% of RAM.

tnx for reply... right now, i am using audio manager too...

Today I tried Windows Media Player, and I don't like it... Skipping between songs is very slow, it eats about 10-12% of RAM.
Next I tried CorePlayer, it eats about 7% of RAM, it has good audio output sound, but it doesn't support manilla 2D. I stay with HTC Audio manager.

c mon, i wont to know what player do you use... does anyone listen music on wizard??? you can say what windows mobile version do you use, rom, and how much memory it uses... for great sound improvement use wow srs... it is great app...

Windows Media Player Memory Consumption

Hello everybody.
i use the build in windows media player with my xda neo. bevor is start it, i have around 20mb free ram on my device. directly after the start, there are 16,5 mr ram free. no other application is running. after playing i while (around 2-3 hours). my free ram decreases very rapid. i have inly 1,6 mb free memory, the media player plays the music only with a stutter.
i will use no other player because i sync my library with media player 11 on the desktop and i have found no other player for the ppc, that can sync the playcount and ratings back to my pc.
is there a way to bypass this memory monster? or does anybody know a other media player for the ppc, that make use of the media player library and sync's the playcount and ratings back to the pc?

Is there a faster music player?

Hello folks,
I've been searching for a faster music player for my Wildfire android phone. Because the default with the sense skin is ****. It loads and scrolls very slow. But I didn't found anything usefull.
Someone knows a minimalistic/fast music player, just only the basic stuff, no equlaizer, visual things ect.
Thanks,
i used winamp for a period of time... it's free on the market
I'm using Music PlayerPro and very hapy with it.

I see the topic has risen after 2 months, but for the sake of it - try Vanilla Music Player. It's really lightweight, has a cool widget and seems to drain less battery than any other player.
I use Poweramp which is the best player out there!
For me, it's Rockbox
It's not the prettiest by default and it definetely takes some getting used to, but it's by far the most functional player available.
I've been using it on my Cowon D2 and I'm glad they made a port for android
Rockbox supports pretty much ANY format there is (hell, it even plays NES-roms and tracker formats), supports ReplayGain and gapless playback, has a proper shuffle mode and countless options to tweak the sound to your liking (Crossfeed )
There are 2 prebuilt apks for our screen size here. The upper one is portrait. There's no switching between both modes atm

+1 for poweramp. First app I purchased, and I do not have any regrets.
I like PowerAMP, its almost only one with EQ ! I really love the preset Bass setting in EQ combined with Koss portapro headphones

Ill send u a tip in private msg.
For me it's between Winamp and Playerpro, Winamp is free but Playerpro is a little better IMHO. Both are good, if you don't mind spending the Benjamins then get Playerpro, you won't be sorry, otherwise get Winamp... Both are brilliant. Oh and you might wanna root your wildfire and run CM7... It's the way to go... But yeah if you're worried about warranties etc. then I guess you could stay on Eclaire... it's just like you're holding your phone back...

Music Player

Can someone recommend a good music player. My son is using Btunes on his Galaxy II, but of course we can't see the new version on the market only the older one. I have used google music and ttpod and they are not bad I guess, I just wish that they didn't always want to connect to the web. I just want one that has nice usability and the ability for it not to keep running in the background when I close it.
Thanks.
Poweramp is one I used 100% on my phone with 2-4 gigs of space dedicated to music, I've been using google music on my nook tablet due too the google music cloud and the huge selection of music I have, going above 20 gigs lol
I installed and uninstalled Poweramp 3 times and I could never fix a volume problem. With both software and hardware volume cranked to max, it was way too low. I'm using Winamp now and I don't have that problem.
I really like cube. Shows up also as a 3. Its got a pretty cool looking interface and its free too.

I use Player Pro from the android market. It allows you to make playlists and organize your songs/audiobooks in various other ways, plus it plays video files. It also looks good and operates flawlessly on the nook tablet.
I'll second Player Pro. I'm running that now and it works great.

[Q] Best Music App

I have a 16Gb Class 4 MicroSD card. Ill be putting my music from my iPod over on to it plus some other stuff I have. Should total around 8Gbs worth of stuff.
Im looking for a music app that will allow me to keep great battery life, simple, nice/intuitive interface. Album art and lyrics arent necessary. Perhaps something with a nice EQ.
Google Music is great, but not necessarily what you are looking for. It's main purpose is to free up space on your card by streaming music from the cloud.
I've only used that, and the built in player for CM7. Both worked great.
PlayerPro has a great UI, skins, and an addon equalizer you can download. I love it.
I like using the Standard HTC Android player. With either DSP, or Beats Audio it has really great sound.
Best one has to go to poweramp
Sent from teh epic pony using XDA Premium
I use a mix of poweramp for music on my SD card and Spotify for music streaming.
PowerAmp is pretty good, you can try the trial and see if you like it before you buy which is great.
Any more suggestions? PlayerPro and DSP slow my phone down bad.
Hello all,
I'm new to XDA, looking forward to talking to you folks, so here goes my first post
I like using these 3 music apps
3 - I think its called cubed but yeah search "3". Very nice music app with a slick UI. The only reason I don't use this solely is because its shuffle feature isn't so great, a lot of repeating songs, other than that its great. Free and donate version
Zimly - Nice media player with a few options I don't need but I use it anyway. Free
MixZing - This player has very nice widget options as well as EQ settings, lyrics, artist biographies...I could go on. and its all free
I was going to post links but as I'm a newbie I'm not allowed to do that yet
PowerAmp
In my oppinion, the best music app is a PowerAmp. It has great design and fuctions.
I am using poweramp right now, it's perfect, beatuiful UI, skins, EQ
Yeah i would also recommend poweramp.
personally im a big fan of google muic. with the skyrocket there was some ****ty samsung media player that couldnt locate some of my music. weird.
Google music
Google music need more improvements and time. Maybe few months later.
PowerAmp or PowerMP (it's changing name to second one) but i offers great functionality and various of options (searching for album arts, eq and tag editor etc.)
First post for me and first to suggest Mortplayer. It's a fast and easy player with nice widgets.
I don't use genre playing etc. I have a sd card with folder MP3 and within that several folders. In Mortplayer I select the main folder and within that I choose my folder of music I want to listen.
It supports playlists, has a nice equalizer and just works great for me I have no wish to change to another player.
After reinstalling PlayerPro it hasnt been as laggy. PlayerPro is what Im leaning towards due to its superior DSP tuning options. It offers the most bands of EQ from what I can see.

Which music player uses least battery?

Hey guys. I listen to around 4 to 8 hours of music each day at work on my Galaxy S2 and I'm wondering if anyone knows which music player is best in terms of battery life.
I downloaded winamp and while I like the program it feels like it drains battery faster than the stock player and when I checked the CPU usage was around 16% while playing 448k aac. I understand that the stock player decodes the files via hardware rather than CPU and I was expecting this to be more power efficient. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? The stock player was showing up as near to 0%.
Try to use the miui music app. It use 2~3 % of the cpu. I think the user interface is the best on this music player. You can found it at forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1500763
Doubletwist or Winamp
I prefer to use Doubletwist or Winamp. They do use a lot of resources but I find with ICS battery life is offset due to the new batter management system.
*I do use CM9 or some variant so that also might have some benefit as well.
