Where to download a rom for dopod 710(StarTrek) in simple chinese（HK or Singapore Edition）？
I can't find it, but I need it very much.
The ROM on my dopod 710 is China Mobile edition, and I don't like it.
I want to flash the ROM（HK or Singapore Edition） on my S300.
I'm in Wuhan, China.

There is no chinese ROM posted in the Dopod Singapore site, but not sure about HK site. Alternatively you may consider downloading the following WWE ROM and change the language to Chinese through Settings.

thank you, but I have got this ROM, and flash it for testing. There is something wrong with it.
I still want a better ROM.
Cook it! There is a new way of flashing only the os.nb file into your StarTrek. I am going to try this way to cook the newly released Cingular ROM and add Chinese into it. (I am just saying this. So please do not hope me will success or post my work... I might won't even have the time to do it.... 我只是计划尝试,并不是真的会成功,别指望我.您也自己试试看哈.)

很多中国人,不出声而已!楼主用英文ROM(3.6.251版稳定,个人测试) 加汉文包是比较稳定的做法!

我用的是别人备份出来的nksigned.nbh ver:1.33 39MB，和单独的os.nb 3.51.706 27Mb，这两个都不行。

那里有OS.nb下载。
They're talking about a China Mobile Rom, someone having a China Mobile (CM)customed phone call Dopod 710 (s300, simply different name)may have flashed other ROM like Singapore one for a trial (as I have done), but they can't flash the original ROM(The CM customed one) back. So they are looking for CM ROM, and if a phone isnot in its original ROM, the customer service won't help if something goes wrong with 710.
Here one guy successfully flashed CM Rom,and another is asking for help. I'll report if i flash back CM Rom.

This is just a 3.5MB exe file that adds arabic support to the device.
I will be testing it on ROMeOS 1.13 now.
EDIT: This is not installing on ROMeOS complaining about the GUID doesn't match the device ID.
EDIT2: Only devices from specific countries that need arabic support are eligible to download.

yeah, I also entered my s/n and it told me my dev wasnt supported.
Im gonna check this out to see if it adds some bidi support - which i need for Hebrew. The company, mobidiv also has hebrew support, but im not sure how to get it.
I was able to download that Arabic support because my HTC TP is bought in UAE. The ROM version will NOT change, mine is still 1.90.456.3 WWE, ROM Date 08/20/08, Radio version 1.02.25.19 and protocol version 52.33.25.17W.
The only difference is that now in device info ExtROM version 1.26.488.9 is now listed. Arabic is supported well I guess, even though I cannot read it!

Anyway it would make more sense to keep all new ROM announces in the Sticky.
About 2.17, the only one I am aware is the Asia WWE. I dumped it and its the same EXT packages and the same SYS, OEM and ROM. Only wince.nls, chinese keyboard and chinese fonts are added.

Don't worry,dude!
As far as I know,this version has a region ID which is only allowed to Chinese and Indian phones.
However you can get an open version in the forum of xda-china, if you can read Chinese!

it worked with my T3320, and have Chinese lang having ,Dopod splash screen,new version of M2d 2.0, but immediately switch back to original rom

I flashed the ROM, got the info you guys posted, and then reflashed a new ROM onto it and worked like a charm.
Can you please tell us all the steps you followed..
Curious has anyone who tried this rom now having issues with the current location weather after flashing back to another rom?
hi after i have installed it it didn't work so how can i install another Rom because the usb cable doesn't connect and im not able to re flash it.
