I'm overprotective of my devices, so once I saw this I bought it.

It comes in black or silver and with or without a transparent plastic protection over the screen.
nice case. but the thing i don't understand about these cases is that they do not protect the screen, so they are farily useless right ? I mean you can't chuck the phone in you bag with this case ?
There are 2 models of PDAir aluminum case: one with plastic protective screen, and another without the protective screen.

Look at this posting and pictures in this swiss forum. The last one is from PDair.
At the pictures the color seems to be sort of grey, but in reality it is darker. Looks and feels fine .

I have one right now... but it's a cheap one from Ebay. When I first bought it, it fit real nice and tight but now over a month or two it's getting loose and slides around a bit.
Anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for the following:
1. It doesn't expose the metal part of the camera on the back cover.
2. Fits snug on the phone indefinitely (is this possible?).
... and if possible one that isn't really sticky.

hi, i have a clear one of these, think i would buy the grey next time. its also a cheap ebay item. its very snug, not as flexible (which makes removal a bit of an effort) and nowhere near as sticky as some silicon cases.

Yeah i bought one of those that bl1nky recommended. The only thing i can say is that the fit around the bezel edge is not as good as other 'softer' silicon covers.
In my case particularly, the right hand edge is badly formed and seems to pull away from the HD bezel.
In addition i find that locating and using the power switch to be troublesome and it's this that i find most annoying.
My personal quest for the perfect case continues....

good choice. its the best case IMO. the grey one is almoste invisible. really thin and it protect greatly the phone.

They look the same from what I can tell in the pictures... but you never know on Ebay it could be a cheaper knock-off of the original. I don't know because I haven't purchased the one from Ebay. I will be getting mine today or tomorrow from Boxwave and I'll take some pics of it and stuff and update here.
Is it the non-transparent one with small camera hole? (I'm in the boarding shcool where ebay is locked) If so, it's good, but rather thick, good for protection, but will make your HD thicker (around 16mm). If not, just remove this post.

Ok so I got the case and have been using it for two days now. It is pretty damn nice actually. It fits well, not too tight and not too loose either. It's not sticky like the cheap Ebay one I have so I can easily slide it in and out of my pocket. I got the smoke color. It's clear and shiny so it suits the HD well. I like being able to see the phone through the case as well.

i got the silicon case from ebay and its not a tight fit.come off very easily. am now on the hunt for another case. there is a case for the iphone which is a plastic case but a rubberised finish.

The silver hard case with kickstand and the pink plaid hard case are available to purchase under accessories. Stores are less likely to have them (ours has never gotten any). The gel like cases are not yet available anywhere.
all the tmobile stores in oregon now have the hard gell cases. i picked up a black one yesterday for $20 comes with a screen protector that i Fed up putting on lol

From the way that the case looks like in the pics above, I must say that it looks great. Does'nt seem like there is too big, if not any, of a gap between the top and bottom half of the phone.
Only problem I had with this case that I tried on in the store was that it's very difficult to slide the keyboard out fully because of the tabs. I've tried this with the gel case and the clear case. This sucks a lot because it's going to scratch the phone over a long period of time.

i like it a lot. the sides are hard but the rest is gel. There is a slight very slight gap between the 2 peices but it looks good. I like how they didnt cut holes for the camera volume and lock button yet they are stll easy to push.

I would have gotten the case but that was my major concern about the case. As of now I have it running naked with the belt clip from the T-Mobile store. I ordered the Zagg Invisible Shield and will just put it on and leave it at that.
I bought the white and black case.. they don't look bad at all... I have to be patient because its coming from Hong Kong..

Yeah I got them for $2.95 shipped each.. I like the fact that they cover the camera part.. I would've liked the camera button covered too but its still a nice case . I bought white and black.. hope I get them fast .

Looks awesome but I dont think they are hybrids are they? It looks like just pure TPU with some texture on the sides. I've seen these "S Style" cases quite a few times recently.
Yeah, they are not hybrid cases. It's pure TPU. Since its a Chinese seller he probably doesn't understand the meaning of the word correctly. A hybrid would have a PC outline or rib cage, this has neither.
edit: maybe it does have PC? The right side certainly could be, or it could just be matte TPU. The reason I'm thinking its pure TPU is the description mentions nothing about PC, only TPU.

Yeah me too!! However, I've ordered a two 1800mhr batteries that came from Hong Hong and they arrived like in a week but it depends on your destination of course.. so I hope I receive them in a week or so..

IIRC...the ones for the OG Evo were crap. The two types of plastic separated and didn't hold together that well. Just a heads up.

Well the ones from the EVO was different because I did get the one with two plastics bit this one is one piece not two.. it is just textured.. I will try them out.. at that price I wouldn't mind trying it out

I don't think its a one piece anymore. I initially did, but I'm pretty sure now the right side is PC and the left is TPU, which would make it a two piece.

They were available on eBay before the P6800 were even officially released. I got one and it fits very well, but using the Samsung book case now.

I found one today while looking for the same thing myself. Can't post links due to be a new site member, but if you look up on ebay the user 'freebitsuk' you'll be able to get to their store.
They also have it bundled with a screen protector too. Three colors available black, pink & purple.

How flexible would you say this case is? I'm deciding between this one and a silicon case myself. I'd like something more flexible than a plastic hard case, but not as floppy as silicone.

dont worry about that，quality really good. cant be break easy，and feel nice when you hold it，smooth put on face.
I have the Smasung OEM case and it works beautifully....for me I think covering the screen is more important than covering the aluminium back. The first perceived issue with the OEM case "flap" is really not an issue at all as mine has never flapped open becuase of the way it is carried. In edition, it can be positioned in either landscape or portrait mode. It is a good idea to keep the rubber grip edge on the case clean so it continues to grip any surface. This device is such a beautiful design that I find the Samsung case compliments it very well.

TPU stands for Thermoplastic Polyurethane, it's a different material from silicone.
Generally firmer and has a more rigid structure.

someone FINALLY released proper Mate 20 X skins. I wish they had these ready to go at the launch of the phone.
I ordered the Clear Matte; Back and Camera Protector from them.
Took about 2 weeks from their place in UK to Canada.
Attached some pics, the fitment/clearance of the cuts are much better than anything on Aliexpress and Ebay. Trust me, I've been using those crappy ones until I got these.
The worst/ most inaccurate cut out for the Skins that came to me is the Fingerprint cut out. but its not that bad.

I have the black camo and i love it but still slippery
I bought a skin from Xtreme skins and it was only for the back. The video they show is quite misleading as it shows protection for the sides too. Was very disappointed. Basically a screen protector for the back!

Hi, it's a shame you feel this way because at no point in our installation video or product page, do we mislead you as the customer. It's clearly evident that we don't cover the sides on this device. We only ever cover the glass portion.
