I have decided to open a new thread following the request from some thankful users
Current version: 2.6
MSentinel is my small application whose solely purpose is to remind you about
- missed calls
- unread SMS & MMS messages
- unread emails
- voice mails
- 'missed' tasks and calendar events.
If any of above are found you can be notified about that by sound and/or vibration.
You can specify the time period of checking, time when the sound should be played (e.g. for not to be disturbed at night). You can also decide if the screen should be switched off after notification (to save power if the screen is not completely OFF.
You can also decide if the notification should be executed when the devices is 'full ON'.
After checking application leaves the device in the state that was before checking (if it was 'on' state - it will be the same after checking; if it was 'stand by' state - it will be the same after checking and so on).
Please notice that there are separated versions for WM5 and WM6 - see the attachments.

Language: Polish, English, Russian, German, Dutch, French, Hungarian, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish
If you want to add a new translation you can make a copy of 'English.lng' file, rename it to 'YourLanguageName.lng' and edit the strings. Save it using UTF-8 charset.
Requirements:
• PPC with Windows Mobile WM 5, WM 6+
• .NET CF v2.0
Still to do:
- improve blinking notification to work with screen locking software e.g. S2U
- different sounds for different notifications
- smartphone GUI version
Changes history:
version 2.6
+ new option: ignore system volume
-----> if selected the sound file and/or vibration will be always executed;
-----> if not selected and system volume is set to 'silent' nothing will be executed;
-----> if not selected and system volume is set to 'vibrate' and vibrate option is selected - vibration will be executed
+ new translations: Czech, Chinese Traditional
+ improved installer
+ log mode now selectable in GUI
+ handled differences in the names of registry system keys between WM versions
* fixed the issue with not giving any notifications after soft reset
* fixed the issue with occasionally slowing down the system on some devices (MPlayer.exe staying in memory)
* changed 'Select sound file' dialog
* replaced color picker - better support for different resolutions
* some other bugs fixed
version 2.53 beta
* some bugs fixed
version 2.52 beta
* disabled notification during the active phone call
version 2.51 beta
+ 'silence' and 'vibrate' mode support - if 'Change volume' is checked the sound will be played also when the device is in 'silence' or 'vibrate' mode
* fix for notification checking (not visible for users)
version 2.4
+ new sound engine, it should now work with WM5 correctly
+ support for new sound formats: MP3, MP2, OGG, MOD, S3M, XM, IT
+ vibration led id selection - you can test if it is a correct value with the button on the right side
+ new translations: Dutch, French, Hungarian, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish
* fixed the time selection warning

I was thinking about building in mp3 support but on the other hand I prefered to keep the app as light as possible.
However, I'll try to use some kind of external mp3 player which would only play mp3 file if selected. Maybe in one of the next releases.
no worries - I guess then that it uses the normal system files. Ive been meaning to convert some mp3s to wave and clip out the sounds I like anyway.
Will test later and let you know how it goes.
Great app - there aren't too many programs that have an option to remind about unread emails, and that is the reason why I'm using this app. I have installed it about week ago, and it's working good, except one little bug on my Raphael - when I want to change something, there's always some warning about "From" and "To" fields, but I've solved that.
amazing program!
Will be possible to add a flash light notifier,1 every 10-20 second, i have an omnia and this will be very useful !
there is an app called "mFalsh" (from modaco), that work like a charm and use a flashlight of my omnia, may be you can try to take the code and insert in your program.
thanks for you awesome work !
I want to add Korean language.
Dear. MSentinel developers..

Hi homar,
on my Samsung Omnia the vibration is not working. Everything else is working as expected, though.
PS: thanks for this great app!
I have made some investigation and unfortunately it seems that he vibration in Omnia works a little bit different. There is no simple workaround for that, however I'll try to prepare a version that will handle this issue.

1)when i hit the play button to preview sound file, i got the error msg saying:
MSentinelGUI.exe
MissingMethodException
cannot find PInvoke DLL "aygshell.dll" "SndOpen".
at m.b()
at o.b()
2)sometimes when my device is in the early booting phase, it gets an error like msentinel cannot be loaded. so, could the loading of msentiel be delayed a little bit, say for 15-20seconds?

Which version of WM do you use? Unfortunately 'SndOpen' method is compatibile with Windows Mobile 6+. I'll try to use something compatibile with WM5 in the next version.
However, it shouldn't have any impact on the notification module.

Unfortunately, MSentinel relies on Windows notification mechanism so there is no possibility to control loading.
But I have one more question: where have you installed this app - Memory or Storage Card?

i install it to device memory, not storage card.
the funny thing is, after installation of msentinel, a note application in my device which couldn't trigger any reminder events at any intervals can now give me reminders at 180 sceconds interval, the same as that i set in msentinel. great!
Good app - works well
Hello and thanks for this software.
Homar, please I have sent you the French translation file by MP
Battery drain
Hi,
nice software, really does what is neaded - reminds about reminders/calls, etc...
There is other software like "Best reminder", AlarmPal - one shows not needed notification icon and has no "reminders" reminding, another - quite strage action, configuration and usage etc... but no battery drain (i think)
But in general both doesn't make me happy.
MSentinel would be great - but DRAINS battery noticeably. I checked with BatteryMon (search the XDA forums) - MSentinel puts device in unattended mode (20mA) while checking for notifications (i suppose).
So maybe something is wrong with my device, BattResumingSuspendTimeout is set to 120s (Touch PRO, with RomeOS), now I changed it to 20s will check the resultls, maybe it helps ?
But there is a question why to wake up device for checking if there is no notifications ? Other apps i thing use other methods.
If i understood something wrong or wrote something dumb - sorry - will delete the post.
Hi,

Introducing O2 Dynamic Menu
Taken from O2 Helen Test set from O2 Asia before they close down & convert to MWg Atom V.
This Application will give you a simple launcher menu when press and hold the action button, just like Iphone, 1 button to open that black menu.
But some of the icon will not work as the shortcuts are assign to O2 helen settings & filename. Camera & Weather dont work.
Once into O2 Dmenu, user can only escape the menu by Locking the device, this can be done by tap and slide from the left to right on lcd.
Dmenu also give you a lock screen during a call, so that user will not accidently hit any button or end call by-your-face! simply release the lock by pressing'the action key or lock back by hiding keypad.
this is a custom rom build out from other device & compile for O2 Atom, There might be bugs and errors still that cannot be fix at this moment & no date given on when it can be fixed so please do not request or post things that are already mention.
O2 Application are taken from official WM5, it might not work as wonderful as the official ROM did.
Bugs
-Bluetooth cannot sync more than 1 device as it will corrupt, unable to send out file as cannot find device. A2DP with high hissing sound. download this to send out http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=269937&d=1263960660
-At times, CHome cannot scroll down or up with direction pad, maybe due to O2 Menu (Can Kill O2 Apps if not needed by user using Task Manager from FdcSoft)
-After reset, when locking device for the first time, it will be slower, subsequently is fast (Happens on most device with custom roms, normal)
-Camera cannot jump into MMS program (Different MMS app used, No solution yet)
-MMS did not have settings after running O2 Auto Config (Settings are base for another MMS App so it will not config for the current MMS app)
-O2 Auto Config pops out everytime i reset (Funny but Dunno why)
-O2 Auto Config do not detect my SIM card (Manually select your country and operator wont be hard as its only a 1 time thing until you hard reset or switch to another operator)
-At Times, i need to unlock twice (O2 Auto Lock bug, not a big problem)
-At Times, O2 Menu wifi shortcut will be missin in action. (Older version bug, i never use the latest o2 Menu as its not a big problem)
-My Screen Fade into White screen suddenly (Maybe overheat of CPU, its often seen when XCPUScalar is use with Xscale driver on Coreplayer/TCPMP)
-Image that save to memory card did not appear in CHome (Camera default storage folder on memory card is "My Pictures" but CHome only reads from "DCIM" on memory card)
if anyone have any idea how to fix the above mention, do post and share
O2 oem theme
Please ...rom available ?
Wow ... !!!
we r all waiting for this type of Rom pls pls Upload for our atoms
Great work
Tabbe,
Great work and very nice layout. Will have a go at it eventhough problems mentioned already know(from Helloworld & Glossyx1). By the way, I read somewhere before about tweaking the registry to improve the A2DP, not sure if it helps but here are the registry tweaks. I could not try as I do not have stereo bluetooth headset, only normal handsfree....
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2DP\Settings\
Bitpool - 40 (decimal)
MaxSupportedBitPool - 65 (decimal)
MinSupportedBitPool - 40 (decimal)
SampleRate - 48000 (decimal)
UseJointStereo - 0 (decimal)
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd\
Priority256 - 240 (decimal)
Hope it helps the hissing...
Vincent
look like a nice rom
Thank you Tabbe for your nice work. I am using it since 2 days without any problem. I can use my Bluetooth GPS and IGO. WiFi and Sync with Outlook and Vista are O.K. Also no battery problem so far with my Atom Black. Microsoft Market Place, Windows Live and MSN Weather+Money are functioning. I am happy

if you set voice command to say the callers name, it will reduce the original volume of ringtone and den voice out the callers name, i didnt try that with this newer build from microsoft, it may or not voice out the callers name but definitely lower the sound for sure in order for you to hear.
remove MVC is not needed or disable voice out imcoming call in option under settings personal

fading is due to over heat or xcpuscalar used with xscale driver mention in first page already, removing xcpuscalar is the only thing i can think of but im not going to do so as xcpuscalar can overclock to make it faster when needed, like watching a mp4 file grab from youtube.
its already a threaded sms rom, that is why i enable Sent SMS Notification popout when you send sms.

can you just hard reset your device by Power button+Reset and then red+green button.
after the screen calibration, do not install anything from O2 Installer & test the ringtone.
As long MICROSOFT VOICE COMMAND is not installed, the ringtone should be normal.
if the sound is soft still, you may want to flash back to original ROM is try to see if its a hardware problem.

Yes, Just like O2 Asia Official ROM, my WWE rom is mainly localized for singapore even when MSN Weather is installed, the first country it shows is Singapore but have also added fonts for different users needs.
Upcoming Extrom will have 3rd Party application for Thailand & Vietnamese & other languages input keyboard.

Changelog Anuvadak 1.1

+ Improved Instant translation but still in alpha
+ Added paste support with a dedicated paste button. No more long press to select paste option
+ Added dictionary items with translation
* Nouns
* Pronouns

* Conjunction
* Verb
* Adverb
* Abbreviation
+ Added check for update option
+ Added user-selectable option to show number of items in history - This is major memory improvement. Devices with low memory choose less than 5 items
+ Added support for saving a language pair as favorite or save it as default
+ Added new awesome application icon for Anuvadak - Many thanks to tnyynt
+ Added support to show all indic and Asian languages. Shown in the video
The last enhancement was difficult to add but it happened.
There is a trick to it.
Anuvadak now uses Arial Unicode MS font to show all languages. Unfortunately I cannot pack the font with the application as it would be illegal. Also the font file is around 28 MB. But no problem.
The font is packed with all the versions of Microsoft office 2007 onwards. It is located in Windows> Fonts directory by name Arial Unicode MS. Download the font from the windows (PC) directory and copy it your windows phone > Windows > Fonts directory. Install the app, Restart the phone and bingo!! all languages show up now
For people who don't have access to Arial Font, I am attaching a another Unicode font (free). Download that font and repeat the copying instructions as above and it should show up nicely. One thing to remember, when using the alternate font remember to change settings from the application menu to choose Bitstream cyberbit.
The drawback of using this (Bitstream cyberbit) font is that it doesn't show every character in every language. Some characters from Arabic, Persian and Chinese are missing. Hindi is completely missing.
If anybody has any problem, let me know and I will try to help you as much as I can.

amazing app..will add a video for it soon..
Many Thanks!
Works great on my HD2. A quick comment, however:
I normally use Google translator for looking up how to say Chinese phrases. And, of course, Chinese uses a character system. While the characters show up just fine in the app, I do not have the option to view the Romanization of the characters (how they would be pronounced), though this is offered on Google's website.
Any plans to implement this?
Edit: Nevermind, Romanization is evidently supported, I guess Chinese just isn't working for it.
Other than that, beautiful app, defiantly keeping it on my must-have list.
Thanks guys for your comments....
Let me know the bugs, features wanted.. and I will update it.
Now working on Speech to text... might take some time.. so hang on

... Some kind of app memory. It's a li'l tedious to have to choose your langs on every launch. Maybe a config file in the app dir, or a few reg entries.
And, by "Speech to text" do you mean speech recognition? 'Cause, that'd be purrty *****in'.
Thanks!!

Sure.. next minor release will see your suggestion .. (i dont know how I missed that lol )
And yeah you guessed it right ... speech recognition !!!! its the next big thing I am working on ...
This app is great i just tried it and it worked perfectly!
This is probably a little bit off topic... but The onscreen keyboard you have in the screen shots looks amazing. Where can i find that skin if you dont mind me asking?
This app is really fantastic. And so useful.
The UI is nice. Text to Speech (or speech recognition) is a great feature and works very well with respect to the main languages (French, English, Italian, etc.)
Ability to copy and send via SMS is cool also.
So.... Thank you very much
Some things could maybe be improved:
- Could you kindly add the ability to PASTE some selected text in order to translate it.
This would be an important and useful feature. For instance if ever you wanted to translate part of a sentence taken from a webpage...
- Improve the icon of the app.
- It seems that some special characters are not supported for some languages (e.g. Vietnamese, Japanese, Greek).
- Memorize the last selected languages once you exit the soft (instead of English/Spanish by default)
- Ability to send via Email also?
ehy man, amazing app! thank you so much!
thanks a lot for this app !!!
can't download...
it just keeps telling me to wait at the download page. could you upload the cab here?
Wow! This program is genial and single in pocketpc.
Sorry for my english.

Very nice program. Thank you a lot.

Thanks so much for such a lovely app!

Fine tuning needed for black theme
Great apps. Thanks.
Too bad it does not play well with black theme (white text on black background).
Feature "Romanisation" is disabled. Is it bug?

Description
Quick Links are okay, but you can not have a quicklink for everything. Or are you just conservative and want to have a launching tool on your PPC? WiMoRun enables you to run programs typing in their name or a keyword. You can start all executable applications within the whole device. With the T9 panel you can choose your apps even faster.
It runs on Windows Mobile > 6.0
If you have ideas to improve this app just let me know.

Feedback
Feedback and reporting are desired, new feature requests, too.
I'd say it would be useful, especially if you save a list of recent applications, which is missing in 6.5. Dotfred's task manager has a run tool, and I use it all the time (it saves mru's).
I think with the Auto-Complete feature this app will be a time-saver, specially when you want to run or open something from Windows folder (you have scroll a long list to find what you want).
Thanks for your efforts!
Version 0.2 is online.
Improvements are a finger friendlier control-size and an autocomplete feature.
I like this app idea a lot.
Here are my suggestions:
- As you type, it presents a filtered list (filtering in real time) all the apps that fits the match as you type. Then you can just type the first few letters and select the app. Think of how Windows 7's start menu works. You start typing and it immediately gives you matches and gradually filters the list down as you type.
- A custom T-9 input panel, which can work with the above filtering feature as a more finger friendly alternative. It would work exactly as the dialer's numerical pad does to filter out your contacts by the letters associated with each number.
- Custom keywords for apps. Basically you can associate keywords with apps. So let's say you use Pocket Informant as you calendar app, but you just want to type 'calendar', you can associate it and it will launch it.

Genius idea!!!
Thanks for fast update!
I try it now.
Great application, really useful! Looking forward to updates.
Great Idea, could better
Hi i like the idea,
Autocomplete in this form is nice but imho its not practical enough, i still have to know the exact name of the app.
Have a look at "lauchy"for the pc, when you type it lists all applications that have the letters in them you type, regardless of the position.
So if you type "expl" you would get a list with "explorer" and "file explorer".
Cheers Marco
Thanks for your first feedbacks.
I will try to improve autocomplete and give a list of programs to chose matching the criteria. I also like the idea to tag programs. A T9-like input panel will also be on my list.
Very good idea but not a new one. This is basically a launcher program. Everyone, check out ZLaunchy program, it has t9 keypad and runs programs, contacts, docs, etc. I have assigned it to a hard button.
ZLaunchies Description says it only uses the programs in the start menu. WiMoRun is designed especially for those programs you might not have in a quick link program. running docs, contacts or other stuff may be integrated, too here
This is off topic and I apologize for that.
the pictures in the first post have fingerkeyboard2 with wider keys than the default one. I have been searching and trying to understand how to install a fingerkeyboard skin with wider keys (the default fingerkeyboard2 are smaller than the stock HTC HD2 keys).
Again, I apologies for this off topic remark, but this is the first time I found someone that has an example of what I have been looking for in a long time... and I have searched the forum.
@davidshooki
Please use private message instead. if you write me your email I can give you the CAB I use

Version 0.4 is out now. I integrated an autocomplete list substituting the one line autocompletion. Buttons are now replaced with softkeys. The program is also able to save tags/keywords now. If you type in the keyword, the linked application is opened.
a T9 panel is not yet implemented, I think that needs a little time.

Yes you're right.
but zlaunchy has a variety of features which your app should have as well(search via t9, search in contacts etc.).
zlaunchy is a great model for for winmorun since it's so lookalike.
As I remembered there was a win mobile smartphone app that had a lot of functions.
looked for files, sms, programs, contacts, it even calculated a formula if you inserted numbers(ex. you inserted 2+2 and it returned 4 on the result list)
I lost that app when I changed to winmo pro since it was shipped only with that phone model.
It was called VOQ from the sierra wireless VOQ phone.
Version 0.5 posted.
Now all executable files are held in this list. It doesn't matter if it's in the Windows or Programs directory.
To avoid long startup times the program generates an application cache. It can be renewed out of the options menu.
have fun
edit:
just fixed a bug and promoted it to 0.5a

version 0.7 is out now, but only for VGA. graphics scaling for lowres devices does not work the way I want it to. Maybe I'll find some nicer controlls, too.
custom skinning will be available in one of the next versions
Nice job! Here's an ico group, if you want it. It looks pretty good in the start menu (it's just hacked from shell32.dll).
DringMoi
Type: free
Preambule: feel free to comments and to give feedbacks, it helps improving! Thanks
Description:
You never asked your phone somewhere in the house ... with the ringing, off course. And, of course again, you can no longer get their hands on it!
Here is MY solution ... DringMoi!
This little program, free, allows you to activate, by simple calls, the ringing of your phone. And yes!
With version 1.2, you now have the possibility to wake up your phone calls by the 4 call numbers and also by SMS! Specify text, activate the software ... and voila! You will also be able to manage a new option, "Persistent", which allow to let the soft keep running even if volume is set to max already.
With version 1.3 you will be able to easily set the applicatin to be launched at startup.
Configuration / Compatibility:
To do this you must still configure some elements, such as phone number initiating the change, the number of missed calls (inevitably) needed before modification and, of course, the time interval that the software should go check missed.
The operation is in itself very simple. DringMoi will read the latest entries in the log of missed calls, according to a regular set (every 2, 5, 7, 10, 15 or 30 minutes). Depending on configuration, number of calls required (1-4) and the calling number, the phone will issue its ringer volume to maximum. Thus, the next time you hear your phone ring!
Note that while there is not the right number of missed calls made by call number programmed, the software will get back into the fixed time interval. Otherwise, it does not restart for retest. Similarly, if the volume is already set up, the software does not restart.
Note that if your phone has no battery ... you can not hear!
Its usage is simple. Upon installation, a directory "DringMoi" is created in "Start / Programs" and a shortcut DringMoi Settings "" Start / Program "(for the case or the creation of the directory does not work ).
In this directory, you have three shortcuts:
* DringMoi Settings: allows you to specify No calling, checking interval of missed calls and the number of appeals. As well as activate the software.
* DringMoi Launch: shortcut that allows you to directly launch the eve of the software. Note however that if in the Settings (see another shortcut) you have not activated the software, it will make his test once.
* Version: information on the current version.

Details:
- DringMoi.dll a file is copied to your Windows directory, it is mandatory that the software works well
- Tested OK and running on my i900 with WM6.1 and WM6.5 on HTCHD2 with
Download Area:
Version full with runtimes eVB needed:
http://www.i900playeraddict.com/ddl/DringMoi/DringMoi.CAB
Version without runtimes eVB:
http://www.i900playeraddict.com/ddl/DringMoi/DringMoi_n.CAB
>> the last version are the following : DringMoi_n_v1.4.CAB (927.8 KB) and DringMoi_v1.4.CAB (1.59 MB)
Some Explainations about the "Hacks" menu :
Persistent (vol max)
- if checked, the soft will continue launching himself at scheduled time intervall, even in the ringing volume is already set to maximum
- if unchecked, the next time the soft launchs, if the ringing volume is set to maximum, the soft will close and will not relaunch itself later
Volume Registre/Registry
- if checked, the soft will make modifications in the registry to modifiy the volume
- if not checked, the soft will not make
Use this option if the standard mode doesn't function (ie no ringing volume up without checked). Standard mode will normally be able alone to set volume to maximum, progarmmatically by directly influencing the .dll
Check SMS
- if checked, the soft will also check the last 5 received SMS to see if they exactly contain the word to grow volume up. This word can be defined in the "SMS Text" option.
- if unchecked, the soft will not read the SMS
Test Calls
- if checked, the soft will check the lasts unanswered calls to check if they are like at least one of the defined numbers (in Option "Calls").
- if unchecked, the soft will not check the calls
At startup
- if checked, the soft put a scheduled command to be launched the next times the mobile boot.
- if unchecked, the soft will not be launched the next times the mobile boot.
And, also, the option "Repeat" :
- if checked (activated), the soft will rescheduled himself after each time it's launched
- in unchecked (unactivated), the soft will be launched once and it will not schedule another launch
hey
strange but a very nice idea

1. you have your mobile in silence mode
2. you go in the cave to pickup some wine
3. you put your mobile on the shelter to be able to pickup all the bottles
4. you go up, without taking back your mobile
5. you discuss with your friends, use the taken bottles to drink
6. you want to send a sms to your girlfriend to say you will be late at the cinema
7. "damn! where is my f**** phone ?"
8. you go searching in the house, but never think of searching in the cave (because it has nothing to do down there !)
9. having a great idea, you call your mobilephone with your homephone, but as your mobilephone is in silent mode you couldn't hear it
The story can end here... BUT, as you're very smart (in correlation with the 9th point), you have installed "DringMoi" and setted your homephone number as referral number, for 3 missed calls and in checking every 10 minutes. So you quickly take your homephone, make the two remainings calls and wait at least 11 minutes, keeping drinking. After this time, you call once again with your homephone... and your mobilephone is now ringing with maximum volume. You so now can go down to the cave to pickup your mobilephone... and some more bottles.
Finally :
- you've recovered your mobilephone
- you're drunk
- you'vre missed the meeting with your girlfriend
;-)
great idea
wow. its sad but is just what i've been looking for to put on my wife's phone so she'll quit forgetting to turn on the volume on her phone lol. thanks for this.
Corwin9S ,
Thanks for making fun of your own app.. LOL
Perfect program for people like me!!!
i hope u continue developping more versions.
I leave this ideas here:
Configure more number to activate sound
Configure time and calls free
Improve interface
Autostart when phone in turn on
when program activate sound, change information icon sound
it's only ideas, program is wonderful
question: program affect to battery life?

I agree !!!!
now only if it worked on Android
Nice one! I was just searching for this, for me it's very very useful...
My ideas:
-More numbers to activate sound
-When you send a sms with a specific text make the phone reactivate volume and start ringing
Thanks, veery nice app!
Thanks for feedbacks.
Happy to see that apparently, without any bugs !
About your good ideas and suggestions :
- configuring more numbers
>> this could be done quite easily.
Point to be in future release
- configure time and calls free
>> I've thought about this, but, well... the bugs with error in adding infos are potentially too high so I prefer not to put this option. Maybe if I developp some algorithm to make checks and checks again...
- Improve interface
>> well... designing is really not my way of excellence! As it's "only" for options... but, anyways. If someone give me ideas and files, maybe...
And if you do not speak about graphics, please be more detailled
- Autostart when phone in turn on
>> I've also thought about this. But not implemented because I want more feedbacks on several WM OS and phones before this. The command lines and option are ready to be set as "visible".
Point to be in future release
- When program activate sounds, change infos sound icon
>> I've seen, on my i900 and on the emulator, that the icon will change itself after 15 - 30 seconds... But, anyways, if I find how to set this quickly, I will do it... Note that I don't understand why the icon will not refresh, because in my WMuvuZelas it does !
- Programm affect battery life ?
>> no, it doesn't. why? because the programm itself takes only about 10 seconds to run (read call log, make checks, update volume (or not), close itself). And secondly because the programm isn't running in background. It set up a time event to be launched (runat command)
But the battery will still be used by other functions... lol !
- Specific text on SMS will do the same
>> good idea... just need to find a way to read the SMS too !
Point to be in future release
installed on Diamand 2, it works but the camera is reverse.... good job.
lol...
anyways, just to inform that I'm on the next release, with some new things, for example :
- get from SMS text
- multiple numbers
;-)
but be patient... it could take some time !
New version 1.2
With version 1.2, you now have the possibility to wake up your phone calls by the 4 call numbers and also by SMS! Specify text, activate the software ... and voila! You will also be able to manage a new option, "Persistent", which allow to let the soft keep running even if volume is set to max already.
v1.2:
- ...
A BIG BIG thanks to DotFred for his executable to extract SMS !
well... and a little kind of easteregg. Check persistent option and send some particulars words (founded in a .txt file embedded) to be surprized...
Nice, with the SMS support there's only one thing missing to this app... of course you can't predict when you are going to miss your phone so if you could make the app run in startup it would be great!
EDIT version 1.2 doesn't work on my omnia, it says something like "there isn't an application associated with "dm". Execute the application and open the file from it" (translated from spanish, it doesn't say exactlly that), how do I fix it?
hallo jav92
for the startup, you easily can add yourself a shortcut in the "startup" folder. I will try to make this possible in options, but my problem is to catch up the name of the "startup" folder in different languages...
for the bug of "dm", which version do you have ? Should be the 1.2, but I do not have the same problems...
Anyways, I'll manage a new version 1.3 with the shortcut possibility and I will add some more existence checks. This one on testing / packaging
so... version 1.3 released.
Changelog 1.3:
- corrections of code
- add existences test for files
- only one instance of DringMoi can be run
- add option to run at mobile startup
Ok, with the new version 1.3 released it's working now on my omnia i900.
If possible, in future versions try to make a better interface for it, it would be great!
thx again
update to version 1.4
1.4
- cycle of "eastereggs" sounds by SMS
- better code
- better gestion of "at" schedules
Links are the same :

Hi Corwin,
question: it is possible that you have the background color as a setting? I ask because the last, and that is good, everyone use th sdk's for sense. So every app have the same base. So is this possible?
ZoomKey SIP for Windows Mobile
ZoomKey is intended to make the keyboard easier for use with the thumbs/fingers on the smaller screens, by combining two keys together. Once you press on one of the "dual keys", it will zoom in. Whilst your finger is still on the key, slide it to the left side or the right side of the enlarged key. When you lift your finger it will enter the key your finger was on.
Warning: This is currently an Beta version
Whilst I have taken care to test it on ROMs with the Windows Mobile SDK, and also my own phone, there may still be bugs, and it's still not quite polished up yet. This software comes with no warranty.
SIP Release History
v0.4 : 2010-09-22 : Options dialog configurable through Input Settings. Clipping Zoom Key option

Please report any bugs, glitches etc. onto this thread, or PM me
Hope you find it useful
Known Bug List
Critical : Unsure how to replicate, but it SIP panel wouldn't refresh, it also prevented any dialogs from showing on the system (Had to remove battery to power down) Pretty sure this was linked to the GDI memory leak
Medium : SIP keeps hiding whilst typing (Reported by: pmprog, Other users affected: none reported)
look promising, going to try asap
i love the idea, and need a more finger friendly imput method
(i am a bit bored of touchpal ^^)
ty
installed in device memory, seem to work
it could be more finger friendly then the ordinary two touck/ button (like compact qwerty in touchpal or htc kbd or cliquick)
but maybe we need bigger popup for the selection(slide) of the letter to chose
sorry for my explain, my english is so sad ^^
but it is really a cool idea, keep up the dev!
Thanks for giving it a play, and the feedback.

Originally, I planned the zoomed key to take up the whole of the SIP panel area; but I thought this would require you to move your finger too much. Again, maybe I could add a config option to let you pick a "full zoom" mode.

I'm also adding an option so you can set a custom height for the SIP area. So if you have a WQVGA, you can allocate more space to the SIP making it even easier, but reducing it to save space on a normal QVGA.
What about multi-language support?

Already in the ToDo list - 2nd point.
I'm thinking of moving the character set out to a file, so I/users can create different keyboard layouts including their own custom layouts, for whatever they find easy

Thanks for your feedback.I've added your request to the ToDo list. It shouldn't be too difficult to implement, although I'll need to modify my key mapping file format; no big deal though.
Does ZoomKey work alright with the Russian characters? I know it should do, but I haven't actually tested it myself.
Yes, works well and quickly! There is one more request, add, please, charset change by the button.
I'm sure I replied to this once before. Don't know where my post is though.

I'm assuming you're referring to the settings window. Yeah, it was supposed to work, though I forgot to actually code that bit when I released v0,4. Will be working in v0.5
