XPERIA Panels - HTC Startrek

Any chance of seeing XPERIA panels on startrek? For wm 6.1 pro users I mean.

The only problem that I foresee is the availability of device RAM for Startrek. As far as I know, the xperia panels is a bit large to fit on our trusty Startrek. You could use Mobile shell which has a mock theme found here in xda to emulate the panels of xperia... Then again, this is just me. Perhaps someone has a better idea...

RAM
XPERIA has 256 mb of RAM, and the panels don't seem to use much. I checked on my dads one.

with only 6 MB free space for many works, its like a dream !

HX2190
Does it work on HX2190 too? If yes, where can I download it?

???

That's what we're all trying to find out.

Panels
I guess you could check out the panel manager over at the X1 forum- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=498934 but it didn't work for me. I'm running Erofich's PRO V2.

SE xperia X1 with Touch pro interface : cooked rom

Hi guys,
This is my first post and I hope that my question is relevant.
As (probably) many of you, I am very interested in buying the htc touch pro. Nevertheless, I guess that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is also a good phone comparatively to the touch pro.
I like the touch pro interface and the Xperia finishing touches. A mix of them would be perfect for me!
Besides, the xperia has been manufactured by htc.
So my question is the following : would it be possible (for experienced persons), to cook a special rom for the xperia based on the htc diamond or touch pro rom ?
Thank you in advance for you answers!

The Xperia is a HTC device hence why it has a forum here
We are more likly to see a Touch HD cooked onto the experia X1 as it is the same 480x800 screen as the HD. I don't think the touch flo3d on the touch pro will fit the experia X1.

Is it possible to migrate X1 ROM to Touch Pro so Touch Pro can use X1 interface? I'm using TaskFacade but seems it not quite smooth by experience. [Same questions of using Omnia Interface on Touch Pro]

MultiTouch, DualTouch? Anything?

I've heard rumors and I've read blogs. It seems the X10 Mini Pro is capable of having MultiTouch, but what about the Mini?
Take this with a grain of salt but AFAIK the Mini's digitizer isn't capable of multitouch, which means you'd have to rewrite the entire driver in order to test if it's even possible, also AFAIK the Mini and the Pro have the same digitizer

Sorry bro, but clearpad 2000 has always been DUAL touch. Look on synaptics's homepage http://www.synaptics.com/solutions/products/clearpad . Well, in that list it says 2100, but it's the same thing, the 2000 series have always been dual touch compatible. I know that it isn't as great as the pro's , but it's better than nothing. Someone should crack the ****ing bootloader already...
http://se-blog.com/2010/04/26/exclusive-x10-mini-supports-multi-touch/
In light of all the debate about the display on the X10, I decided to find a definitive answer myself. I went ahead and asked Synaptics, who’s a supplier of touchscreen technologies, and although I didn’t get the answer I was looking for, I got another rather interesting fact. Apparently, Synaptics is the supplier of the display on the X10 Mini and I’ve just been told that it’s a ClearPad 2000 solution, which means it supports dual touch – or in other words the basic sort of multi-touch. It doesn’t mean that it’ll be activated and supported out of the box – as the operating system won’t support it – but I’m pretty sure it’ll come in an update.

And I dont think that there is a need to crack the bootloader.. In the mino pro-forum they are talking about unloading the current driver and load a multit touch-driver.
Let'ts hope it works... so we have a good chance to get dual touch

Windows Phone 7.5 Mango on Xperia X10 mini Pro

hi Guys,
i would ask you, if can anyone of us try to port Windows Phone 7.5 to Xperia X10 mini pro?? we only have lack in CPU it requires ArmV7 or Scorpion or above according to Microsoft Tech Days 3.
let's try to port it guys it has a lot of new features!
Only ArmV7? You have any idea how much it takes to port an Arm7 ROM to arm6?
Ever wondered why MIUI isnt ported to Mimmi? Same reason.
Also, wrong thread.
also why WP 7.5? :O why you bought Android phone when you want Windows Phone? for people who know how to use android is WP s..t

Ofc it's possible, no one argues with you there, it's just that it is going to take a whole lot of time to succeed porting it.

Well, it's an interesting challenge. And it'd be a great way to upset the Windows Phone owners which is always nice.
Don't look at me though. I'd have no idea where to even start..

Paul these specs are the same specs published in the event today therefore it's possible to move on with such specs! only need to add drivers to the boot image and kernel of windows phone and check something in the USB Com Controller to access the EPROM of the phone! thank you for the precious info mate
for the others here, i'm not offending any of you neither the android community by asking this question! i was imposing a challenge to our community to port the Windows Phone to our device too as it will show the world that we are the best here!
Windows Phone is now on Lumia 800 and 900 from Nokia therefore we can try to dump their ROMS and kernel and modify them all! i believe we can do it and nothing impossible! i'm waiting for a small time to get the windows phone setup and i'll start trying to port it!

Symbian o.s. is the only reason I've decided not to buy Vivaz Pro but to go for X10 Mini Pro.

[Q] Successor to the mini pro?

Hi - The Mini Pro has been out for over a year now. It's a great device, and mine is still going strong. But I am getting tempted by other phones, the only problem is that I really want a HW keyboard and there's not many about at the moment. The ones that have keyboards are usually massive.
Do you guys have any suggestions?

Exactly... I own an htc desire z and I completely stopped using the hw keyborad cz its frankly too big to use comfortably... we need a split keyboard typ hw keyboard for a big screen...lol
For a replacement, samsung galaxy chat is a budget phone with an intresting formfactor.
Only solution is to have potrait slide out hw keyboard lyk the blackberry torch or dell venue pro... but android oems don't look intrested.
So if u wanna big screen...I think its tym u should adopt to onscreen keyboards...

Can you give the source for this statement?

Probably a dumb question....

Recently got a 7T pro.
There seems to be more roms available for 7 pro (non T).
looking at the hardware specs there seems to be virtually no difference, bar the bigger battery in the 7t pro.
are guacamole roms compatible with Hotdog (7t pro) or are the minor differences enough to break functionality?
Thanks!
They are not compatible
