What color should the battery sticker be on my Thunderbolt for a dry/normal battery that has never gotten wet and what should it be when it has gotten wet?

The Black one, showy things are not for me.
I've had both now, the white one didn't pick up any dirt to be honest. It does show up dents and scratches pretty badly though and I ended up claiming for a new one on my insurance. I've now got the black and as a phone and lookwise I think it's nicer than the white. The white was fun for a while, but the black just looks that bit better.

If you uses phone casing, I think black is nicer and easier to match colours.
White if you don use phone casing.

So which one do you prefer, the White or the Black?
I personally prefer the White one. It really gives it a beautiful look. But I also heard it get stained pretty easily. It is true?
The white is beautiful but it becomes like a ****! The back cover turns yellow if you try to clean it even with a towel and just water! I've changed 3 so far!
White and dont have problems at all.

White here and no problem with dirt.
Found the bottom stripe on the black Xs more dark grey then black, compared to the white that was white all over.
Sure, you can see dirty fingers fast, but they are easy to remove with your shirt and 10 sec of work.
I prefer the black one
if the front would have been more white around the screen it would have been better I think
Prefer the black one.
Still there's a bit of scratch mark on the back. I couldn't imagine the same on the white one.

White one is my preference, but it's hard to find a case who suits it.
All the stains that i did on my white one have been easily removed with a paper eraser.
I like better the black one, although mine is white. I just got a black silicone cover and now it looks black.

I'm lucky enough to get to look at both every day as I have a black XS and my girlfriend has a white XS.
They both have their positives - The black looks a bit classier overall in my opinion, but the white makes more of an impact when you pull it out. It does tend to show dirt easier but I've found that it comes off just as easily and looks new in no time.
The main positive about us both having an XS is that I have two phones to test with

But I noticed something! My friend got the black xps ( I decided to get white btw) and the back cover and the sides much smoother! Maybe it's partially due to the anti scratch and smudge or whatever the white one has.
Also, what is that smell I smell when I open the cover, is that from the battery? And is it toxic?

I own a white one. But I think both look very good. You can't go wrong with either one.
I never had a white phone before and it was available 1 week earlier in Germany so I got the white one.

I've had black, silver and white phones in the past. There is a saying round here that once you've had black you don't go back. Black is always going to be a classic color.. All the other colors are just fashions that come and go... Black will always be there, Look at the new iPhone 5 :-D

At first I wanted white one because it looks very beautiful and attracts a lot of attention, but when I got black one, I really liked it. It's huge screen looks even bigger on black panel, and when the phone is off it looks even more fantastic. I'd go for black second time.
I think that I would prefer white, there are not many white smartphones...
it has style, black is just a little bit to "mainstream" everyone have a black smartphone...
on the white one you can see faster dirty, but that should be no problem with the nanocoating
Did anyone else notice that the metal on the black edition is darker aluminum than the metal on the white?
Noticed but thought maybe it was just me. Glad it's actually a thing tho. I am not a big fan of silver. Only reason I'm getting a case it to cover the silver.

Until I saw it myself, I had no idea the black edition had darker metal. In fact, I didn't hear anyone saying it out of the dozens of reviews I watched and read online. I think it make a lot more sense to darken the metal to reduce the contrast between the body and the border.
Well yea.. here is how I classify the metal color:
Black unit : space grey
White unit: original silver
Gold unit: copper.
The space grey works really well with the black

Well it's not space grey. That's for sure. It's still silver, just not as harsh.

Yea.. I wouldn't disagree on that.
It is basically aluminium silver with an itsy bitsy tint of grey. Whatever it is, I think Sammy did a good job in making sure they contrast well with their primary colors.

I honestly wish it were grey. I think Apple has got something with its "space grey" I mean it looks gorgeous as hell. I've never like silver and I think it looks especially poor with black but I'll be damned if I get a white phone. My dislike for white phones far outdoes my dislike for silver.
Basically a lesser of two evils scenario for me.

Agreed on all fronts. Samsung should have gone even darker with the metal on the black model to further reduce the contrast and make the phone look blacked out, so to speak. Then again, I also wish they didn't have that highly reflective giant "SAMSUNG" on the front and that Verizon didn't spooge all over the back of the phone with their 3-lines of carrier branding.
I also agree that, while white can look pretty slick and clean, I'll never go back there after using a white-face Moto X. The contrast between the screen and the white boarder is just too jarring and non-immersive. Also, you have to deal with the inevitable line of black between the screen and the white border, which only makes matters worse. Plus, if there are any alignment issues between the digitizer and the phone housing (like my Moto X), you'll know it in an instant with a white phone.
