Cricket MMS & WAP Settings CAB Enables SMS Delivery Notification? - Touch Pro CDMA

I have been trying to find an answer to this, so maybe if I post I can get some feedback.
I am using an HTC TouchPro (Sprint) that I have flashed to Cricket. I have been experimenting with different ROMs and have narrowed the field down to just a handful that I would like to use.
My issue is this.
With the current ROM that I want to use (SsS 0203-NS), when I run the Cricket_Arcsoft2 CAB to set my MMS/WAP settings, I always end up receiving SMS TXT delivery notification messages from "System Administrator".
When I have the fresh flash installed, this does not happen. And it is not exclusive to this ROM, but I do enjoy this ROM and would like to use it.
To clarify: once I run the CAB to set my MMS/WAP settings for Cricket, I start to receive Delivery Notification TXTs for the SMS TXT messages that I send.
I have tried the various registry edits to deny the delivery notification TXTs as well as the Advanced Configuration APP. Neither of which seem to help.
Maybe there is another, more recent CAB that I could use, or I am just missing something completely, but any help to remove this annoyance would be greatly appreciated.

This will disable the "Administrator Ack" everytime you send a message. Open your registry editor and change below.
HKLM\Software\OEM\SMS
Change Delivery Ack DWORD Data to: 0

Does anyone have THIS MMS issue?

I know there are a few different MMS issues going around, so I thought I'd create a thread for my unique issue.
I'm using DCD's 2.2.1 rom, rebuilt to add the cricket OEM for carrier settings. This is the only change I've made.
When I get an MMS message, my phone gets the announcement, connects to the web to download the message, and after a second or two the "downloading mms message" icon just disappears. If it's set for autodisconnect, it also disconnects the data connection. Occasionally (about 1 out of 6 times) I'll get an error that simply says "cannot receive message. Try again later"...
Anyone had this issue? anyone have any idea what it might be? It has the feel of a timeout setting being wrong, but I doubt that's it.
FYI, all my server settings, my evdo settings, and my pst settings are correct. I've manually verified that everything is set up correctly.
Also FYI, this issue isn't confined to the latest DCD rom, it's happened with every GPS rom I've used.
any help/advice?

SMS Problem with Niki Project ROM

I love the ROM on my Touch Dual. Thanks for the great work. Only problem I have is that I am unable to receive any SMS. I can send SMS fine (and people do receive them) but when they send me SMS I get nothing. Could someone please help how to fix this?
(I am on T-Mobile USA)
are you sure you are not receiving them under the original message, this rom uses threaded sms by default, meaning they dont appear in your inbox as they would normally
Yes - I am positive. All I have are SMS threads that have only my messages. Not a single one of them have any of the responses.
For Tmobile are there any settings I need to keep in mind?
There is a setting under "SMS Service" which says:
SMS Over:
What does this need to be set to? (GSM/GPRS?)
Also what number does the "Text Messages Service Center" need to be set to (under Phone settings)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MMS Guru's? Please help

Hey, I've got a few random questions about MMS on the wm6 roms.... I don't know if they apply to people using Verizon, Alltel etc, but feel free to pipe up if you have any feedback or suggestions...
Here goes:
1. For some reason, in order to receive MMS messages when using a 6800 on cricket, we're forced to delete a registry key.. That key is:
HKCurrentUser/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/InternetSettings/Connections/DefaultConnectionsSettings
Anyone know what this key is/why it's creating havoc for receiving messages?
2. Can anyone tell me the registry key to edit to change the setting in Pics/video configuration/Preferences, which prevents your phone from retrieving messages automatically? If my phone connects to the MMS server before deleting the registry key listed above, it deletes the message from the server about half the time... I'm reflashing my rom every other day lately, and I'd like to set this as default because I keep forgetting to change it and losing messages.
3. Depending on the version of arcsoft I'm using, my phone often creates a registry line for x-alltel-mdn or x-vzw-mdn. Can someone tell me where in the OEM that setting is? i'd like to change it so that the phone autocreates x-cricket-mdn. I also NEED to change/eliminate it, because if the alltel/vzw line gets input, it gets sent to cricket, which causes a message rejection.
I think that's it... Input/dialogue is always welcome. Feel free to ask followup questions, etc... Please help me fix these issues!!!
Bump!
Someone has to have some feedback!!

3.2.3 and no text messaging

Not sure what the hell happened but I lost the ability to text. Everytime I try I get an prompt stating my text message can't be sent. I noticed in the account list that text message is no longer there. Once I realised that I tried to set it up like an email account but that didn't work either. Oddest thing is I can recieve them but it say unknown sender even though the sender is in my contacts. I've flashed back to 3.2.2 with no luck and even took it clear back to 3.0.4 but it didn't help.
Before anyone asks, yes I installed the carrier cab.
Try installing Arcsoft
What carrier do you use ?
Verizon..... I already have arcsoft installed
When you cook your rom, do you select a dialer? If so, what dialer do you select?

Cyanogen - No multimedia messages

I've been running cyanogen on my Droid Eris for a couple of weeks, and since I started using it my phone won't send or receive picture messages. The option is there to download the picture, but it always fails. I was told to change the mobile network settings, but the only option in mobile networks is data roaming, and that does nothing to fix the problem. If you know what I might need to do to send/receive multimedia messages, please help.
MMS FIX
i found this to be the easiest way.
data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db (edit/add)
http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
after (***)
then to make sure it saves changes, edit permissions to read only. I had to do this. If i didnt then it would restore back to default.
p.s.
use root explorer, its worth the money or if you know how to use the terminal then awesome. (google search!)
