Retractable stereo headset?

Looking for a good retractable headset to replace the original one which gets into a horrible tangled mess.
Hi Wammat
Check out the Lil Fonz retractable head set at www.pocketpctechs.com. You have to use this (and most other headsets I know of) in conjunction with their #15, which keeps the xda mic enabled while the headset is plugged in..
Regards
Chris
Thats cool except it has no mic. I'm looking for something with a mic.
Here is another without mic.

I got the Seidio retractable behind the head design headset. I absolutely love it. It has a microphone with a clip which clips in a shirt pocket or jacket flap. I clip it to the seatbelt when I drive and talk.

Mine's the second from the bottom.

This one looks better. Its says the Tre650 but should work for the PDA2k I reckon.

Wizard case for working out. armband?

Has anyone seen or currently use an armband or similar for listening to MP3's while working out? An armband that has a clear front part so you can slick on things and have button access would be ideal.
Damn waist holster has fallen onto the floor while running one too many times!
Think Ipod
I have found that if it fits the older generation Ipods...it fits the wizard. I use a Ipod case with mine. The only thing to watch for is that the headphone jacks somewhat line up. Otherwise you'll just have to make a few modifications.

How do you store your headphones

Compared with my Universal, the headphone cord is thicker and more rubbery, but so far I've found the little plastic bag that the universal headphones came in to be the best place to put the tp2 headphones.
What solutions have other people found?
(posted from train on tp2)
i stick them in my pocket. if you need further details let me know.
Ok, so what's your plan when it's summer there?
Belt pouch or bum bag.
Belt pouch for when at work, bum bag for when I'm not. To quote the meerkat.com advert, "Simples"

I keep my crappy headphones in the box it came.....who needs it.... get a bluetooth head set...much better....and no crappy stupid wires....so 80's please.
I found a great solution to keeping my headphones; since the headphones that came with the TP2 are ...crap - uncomfortable in the ear, annoying cable, irritating PTT button - I've sent the 'new' headphones off with my old TyTN II and kept my original TyTN II headphones instead.
...Simples!

I'm confused. Do you not have pockets in the summertime over in Germany?
I have to agree with the bluetooth headphones idea. A cord is annoying and my bluetooth headphones just hang around my neck.

Revolutionary: are you using breast pocket in a shirt or jacket or at your hip in jeans or trousers? I've found trouser pockets to be better since they tend to be looser - what about you?

Never heard of FKK?
No seriously, the headphones are so thick and rubbery, I just can't imagine putting them in anything but a big coat pocket. And then only if I didn't use that pocket for anything else.

Jabra BT3030 A2DP Stereo Headset

I've been looking around for quite a while for the right stereo headset. (for me) I wanted something with easy access. I could possibly wear or put in my shirt pocket. I found this Jabra BT3030 pretty cheap on eBay. (It may be a knock-off but works great) I think I got it for $26 including shipping Hong Kong to Largo, FL. It did take about 3 weeks to get it but it was well worth the wait.
I tried using the ball chain lanyard that came with it. I found it was a little cumbersome with the extra headset wire and such. I got a nice pair of Skullcandy earbuds. The cheap ones. $14 at CompUSA. Since they were cheap I didn't mind experimenting with them. When I first got the earbuds I was really disappointed. The sound was horrible. No bass, and really tinty. I found that you have give them a chance. They have to break-in. Now I get rich sound and deep ear-rattling bass.
Here is my mod...
I figured out how to pop the earbuds open.
I was able to carefully remove the Skullcandy cable splitter thingy. I actually slid it about an inch and a half from the plug.
I shortened the earphone cables to where they could wrap behind my neck and make it comfortably up to my ears.
I put a small piece of fuel tubing (left over from another hobby) so they crossed behind my neck.
I then soldered the cables back on to the earbuds, and superglued them back closed.
Now I have a comfortable necklace that I can wear around my neck, inside or outside my shirt collar. The dog tag like BT xmitter is small and lightweight so it hangs nicely, usually under my shirt. I can quickly grab an earbud and press answer button on the xmitter under my shirt to answer the phone. I can also listen to tunes while I wait for things to finish while I'm working on computers.
nice one dude! I also have this headset, thanks for the tip...
That's pretty awesome!
Thanks, Glad to help.

Really nice information these little things can make life very easy and comfortable but I prefer wireless connectivity something like Plantronics CS70 Wireless System,Motorola S9 Bluetooth Stereo,Plantronics CS50 Headset which is much simpler for me anyway thanks for the information.

Muse mini speaker bluetooth

Anybody have this Bluetooth speaker?
On ebay they are 10$ cheaper from same seller.
thanks!
http://www.musemini.com/
Its a tin can....with a cheap speaker on one end.
I've got a Veho360 bluetooth speaker which is the same thing but a plastic casing instead of metal.
Sure its a cheap speaker in a can, a very small can.. But it also gets pretty darn loud, and sounds surprisingly good for what it is. Plus, it cannot be beat for portability/quality of sound.
The Veho's are available on amazon typically in the 30 dollar range.
I've thought about ordering one of these before just because of the color options, and the metal casing.
This looks ok?
