I'm searching to play a sound when my smartflip is open.
I not find anything by now. Can anyone help me?
My smartflip is still WM5...
there is home.exe in /Windows folder, you could try something with that.. or assign a key sounds, there is a sound when you close lid then
just saw this thread and was wondering the same thing... How you going to have a Startrek phone that doesn't make sounds when you open and close? LOL
It seems this version of Winmo, is missing alot of advanced configuration options? Is that cause its standard? and I'm use to using Professional with my Touch devices?

anyone managed to get PhonExt working on WM20003? because when i installed everything went well till the time i assign a Ring Tone to a contact then nothing happenes the phone keep using the Standared Tone i assigned...
Am i missing anything here or its just not yet ready for Wm 2003???

I also have the same experience, but with a different software called pic2caller (or something similar). The program seems unable to recognize the contact destination and hence fails to assign any ring tone or picture. Anyone knows why? help us
Alright quick (probably simple) question but i cant find the answer to it anywhere. Im trying to cook a Rom for a friend and i have never baked touchflo into a Rom but he wants it. I asked him if he wants the whole cube thing and he told me that he wanted to simply be able to drag his finger up or down to scroll (like the kaiser does). So now my real question is whether this is a part of touchflo or not. Either way I dont care, if i have to install the whole cube package and then disable the cube via reg edits, i can, but i would rather there just be an OEM that lets me do the scrolling. Anyone have any insight to this matter? I have quite a few different OEM packs from around the internet and i have countless OEMs of touchflo. Hope someone knows something about this. Do a forum search for "touchflo"......... The VERY FIRST hit by efrost points in HUGE RED LETTERS to what your friend wants.............................
i appreciate your help (and/or bitterness towards my question.) but lo, i have another. does anyone know where an oem can be downloaded of this touch application by efrost or should i create my own using the cab? either way works, one is just easier
I guess what i am really trying to ask is what is touch flo considered generally? is it the cube or just the scrolling? how is it defined by this community?
touchflo is a cab. cube is separate application. but u need touchflo in order to use cubes.
hello frnd. i have faced a few problems cooking wm6.5 roms recently. which if you find a solution then share with me asap. am not releasing newer version of my roms cause am busy with my exams and not able to get enough time to fix these bugs.
1st of all am using da_g's kitchen for wm6.5:
here are the problems i am having..
1st. i use youtube that does not require touch flo 3d. you only provided me with the oem. i open application. it loads the videos section. but when i click on any video to view it, i get an error " cannot play this video" i have tried to cook flashlite3 as well as the oone in da_g's kitchens but with no help.
2nd where can i get oem or cab for htc gesture 2. tried searching.
3rd Da_g's recording modification with wm dialer is great. but is it possible to add it to htc dialer?? although have sent him this ques but still if other could fine a soln.
4th how to change link to chome photos directry
5th i dont want date and time setting to start on clicking clock at chome. i dont want anything to happen when i click on clock in titanium.
6th the volume managers do install and work fine normally. but during call, i do not get the call volume display to change call volume. instead i get the usual system and ring volume control display and am unable to change call volume. i have tried both standard and topaz volume manager. could be a build issue but not able to fins a soln yet.
am using notification menu with buttons. could this be causing the issue.?
if you are able to find any possible solutions then feel free to let me know.

Hey Folks,
Anyone know where the registry files for the sliding keyboard sounds are?
I have been looking in HKLM\Software\HTC as other devices have a SlidingSound(s) DIR, but no joy...
Had a massive search through the forum but not found anything?
I know the default sound files are .wav and named #.wav, #_in.wav and #_out.wav under windows DIR where the # is a number, the deafults being 0-2, but not located the registry keys associated with them?

Hi, I found this 30 mins after my post using the search on Total Commander thanks anyway.
This has worked, however i have no option to select my new sounds in the sounds menu?
Any other Idea's. I expect there to de a configuration file somwhere that sets the menu options. I will keep digging but if anyone knows where this is or knows if i'm heading down the wrong route then please do voice your guidence.

I know that there are little of us still using WM 6.5 but I am one of them (as a second OS) and I have one big problem.
Since few days my ringtones doesn't work, and I simply can't change selected ringtone, nevermind I tried it in settings/Sound&Display/Ring and Notifications or in Start/setings/Sound&Notifications. Whatever I choose everything still stay unchanged and phone doesn't ring. When I use the hardware volume keys, it beeps loudly. I also have problems with sounds or volume in other programs, and Windows Media does not open in the Start Menu - won't open any music file.
Does anyone know what might be a problem and how to solve it!? Thanks in advance.
