Touch Pro 2 ROM for Touch Pro? - Touch Pro, Fuze ROM Development

Is there a more or less exact ROM copy of the Touch Pro 2 that will fit the Touch Pro?
What I need especially is the contacts, where on one person you can click and see all the messages, emails etc.. and also the conference call software as well.
Thanks

Custom 47dd6acd_manila to disable htc sms

Hello everyone, I just recently updated to the lasted EnergyROM and I forgot to backup my 47dd6acd_manila file. My file was edited so that when I click an sms from the touchFLO interface, it opens up in the Microsoft SMS app, not the HTC one. And of course it is no longer on my computer, so does anyone have a link?
Update: I found it and I am now attatching it for anyone else who wishes to have it
Thanks for the file.
I really wanted this, like 3 months ago. Now I just don't use manila nor titanium at all.
Anyways, I'll save this into my storage card just in case I would want to go back to manila : )
anybody know if this plays well with touch pro2's landscape view? i currently use one that is off centered
microsoft and htcs messaging service are awful, i like SMS-chat. SMS chat should be the official touch pro messaging service. its basically lag free and looks way better
buy it for me and i will use it

Changing IE homepage on a Touch Pro 2

How do you change the IE homepage on the sprint touch pro 2?
Try posting in the correct forum to start off, this is the HTC Touch Pro forum not the TP2 forum!
nice work i was wondering how to apply this as well thanks

[Q] Going back to mini pro while One S is repaired, what should i know

I'm gonna be using my old X10 mini pro while my HTC One S is out for repairs (it has an antenna issue).
What Rom offers the best features/stability compromise? basically, i need something that is fast and usable. I don't intend to do much (Whatsapp, FB Messenger, Gtalk, GMail, FB, twitter and instagram), but i would like to be able to do it fairly well.

Go with MiniCM7-2.2.1 on nAa-kernel 13 or 14.
Or MiniCM7Pro which will run on stock kernel but has a slightly better camera
You can find them in the X10MiniPro Development section.
To root and possibly unlock your bootloader, use Flashtool (it's in a sticky topic)

[Q] Hardware keyboard apps for mini pro

Hi,
I'm looking for apps that support the hardware keyboard.
This is the situation, I have an unresponsive touchscreen for over six months now, I've tried a lot of different methods to bring it back but without any luck. After all this time I've given up on having a touchscreen. So now I'm looking for apps that can give me at least some functionality with only the hardware keyboard, the one app that is going to win the gold medal will be the one that let me answer incoming calls, right now I have to plug in the headset to answer, but I would like to answer directly on the phone so if someone knows about such an app it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Any joy with a Call Recorder?

Anyone found a working Call Recorder yet? I've tried several and no joy (some do nothing - including the one from the Huawei 'App Gallery', others record the first second or so really quietly, and then just disappear)
Shame, I had finally found one for S9+ which worked flawlessly... but had to bin off the S9+ due to the enforced 'no dual sim and memory card' issue.
Another thing, can't seem to find how to change system fonts. Seen elsewhere that it has to be done through Themes or such... but can't find any options for font changing within any themes I've tried.
Use the Theme apps to change fonts.

If you need this (i do sometimes too), xiaomi is better. It has this option in OS.
Even Samsung removed this function from android 9
It's Android 9 that makes this so difficult, many developers trying to figure this out.
I use ACR Cube, and it works fine for me

It works spot on for me on my M20 Pro, P20 Pro and S8

Hi, can you post which audio source you selected in the app (Voice Call, Voice Call (software), etc..), and other possible useful information about that app settings and related phone settings (ex. battery optimization of that app) that you are currently using?
Unfortunately I was unable to make it record phone calls whichever source I selected, files were created but completely silent...
Thanks.

Would be interested to at least check this out - as most places say its an Android 9 problem, but Google Play (and the link you provide) say not compatible with device. Did you get it from somewhere else?
Curious as you say it works on your M20 Pro.
I installed that app from the Google Play store using another smartphone, then copied the ipk to the Mate 20 Pro and then installed the app.
The app runs apparently fine, but in my tests recorded files were always completely blank, whichever setting combination used.

Hola
As others have asked, can you please share the configuration settings you have used for this app? Many of us are really interested in finding a solution.

ACR Cube Playstore says not compatible with this version.
Apologies for the late reply folks I have been flat out with work, I checked a call from yesterday and as others have said no audio

Hello,
Unfortunately, the problem is connected with your Android version. In Android 9, the possibility to record the caller's voice was blocked, and now it is a known issue for all users with this OS version. We are doing our best to find a workaround. So far as we know, no other call recording apps have a solution for this yet.
Some people have informed that in new security updates was progress in call recording. I suggest to follow updates on Google Issue Traker. It's issue 112602629. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
(I could not send outside links as new user, google it (-: )

I have the new Huawei mate 20 Pro, initially I couldn't get any of the call records working on my Android phone. It would record my voice and not the other persons I honestly have no idea what has now happened but it is actually working, what's even more strange it's working better than it ever work before on any of my previous handsets. Previously on my Google pixel Android phone I could only record the other person while the phone was on loudspeaker. At the moment I can record all outbound and inbound calls perfectly well it's been like this for about 2month.

I'm using, after a lot of searching, Boldbeast Recorder available on Google play. You imperatively must set the Record Mode to 14. Works perfect as long as you turn on the speaker when you send a call!
