I have a IPAQ DATA MESSENGER and I have one problem.
The battery only 12hours about. I need upgrade the ROM. HP has one new rom for upgrade, But only for free machines. My ipaq it's Movistar operator.
When I go to upgrade say me a error:

I would like break this proteccion of versión,. I read that... the problem it's in the ROMupdate.dll, but I don't know make correction for my id.
This is the Spanish ROM:

My O2 is English version, but I have changed it from English to Chinese a few months ago.
My machine cannot update both Eng and Chi rom......

Can't help, but I have the same error using an unlocked XDA and have not changed anything on it yet.

Hi all
I had the same Country ID problem.
I downloaded the original Rom from the O2 website (the 39mb file) flashed my XDA2 with that , then was able to flash it again with the new Asia ROM.
Long way around - but it worked for me.

I need if anyone knows where to find the firmware with which this phone is sold.
I forgot to put a deposit and I installed any firmware update me on it but after the installation still does not call me it says Not valid imei and do not know how to solve it.
Thank you in advance for your help if anyone knew what to do.

You bought the chinese version. In china they only use TS-SCDMA and i think you aint be able to switch this.

I've bought a Alps Ipegtop Z26 a few days ago, and after a mistake, i need to reflash a rom stock
But, i saw that my version was V06, and i can't find it...
So, i reflash with the V05 version...
After few problems (bootloop...) ALL works except CAMERA
She's REVERSED !!!

I have test to exchange some lib fils from my first backup (V06) to my actual rom, but it didn't woks...
Could you please help me ?
And if someone has a Z26 with stock rom V06, could made a backup ?
