I've a Niki100, it has the original vodafone spain rom but has no simlock.
Can I put the htc RUU_Nike_HTC_NLD_2094041_Radio_NikeMR_1652825_signed_Ship on my device when i've Hardspl?
Or is this a problem because my phone is Vodafone branded?

I can just hardSPL and flash with a original htc rom?
Or do i also need CID & Security Unlock? I have no simlock.

Hoi ikke008, glad it worked for you and I could point you in the right direction about your question, I believed that it's the same CID and SIM unlock are just different terms that are being used.
With the CID Unlock you can flash any ROM, with the SIM Unlock you can use any company SIM card.

Hi,
I purchased this unit in Sept. I unlocked it with pof's newest hermes unlocker and followed all the instructions.
I am in Beijing now but when I put in a GSM sim from china, it doesn't work.
it says "phone is not ready, try again in 15 sec" when I try to access the phone and its options.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
here are my phone specs:
ROM version: 2.11.255.1
Radio version: 1.46.00.10

Do you already contact your local provider ??? Maybe it's not the PPC problem.
shouldn't it just work when i put in the chinese sim?
does it have something to do with softbank doing something to the phone so it only recognizes softbank sims?
Only Softbank SIM can work with it .Ur x01ht is not unlocked yet.
Prof's soft can't do it cause it's 0108.
Try imei-check unlock soft or something else.

i think the phone is unlock, the radio rom mention is 1.46.., sim lock softbank will alway stick to 1.14 radio rom

I posted at another thread about my pda. I unlocked it using imei code (purchased from Kevbodian). I works well, until I dropped it and it need to be fixed by Softbank service center, so I sent there. Then I got new mainboard with radio as TS posted above. I've tried pof's methode for white version (unlock 3a) after I am sure that I didn't install the ext ROM. I reset the phone just after a 3 seconds warning. I didn't know though, if SB has installed it and then hard reset it or not. Unfortunatelly, I still got key code warning with 10 times have already taken, even I didn't try to enter a single code.
I don'tknow what to do now. I think I'll need a code from Kevbodian or other members again
so the only way is to pay to unlock it eh?

IMHO, why u not to use Olipro HardSPL V7 first. I think it help. Or downgrade the Radio. Because I agree that ur phone is unlocked already, considering the Radio is not the original from Softbank.

No, I don't think so. Newest hermes board from softbank came with radio 1.46.. Mine cannot be unlocked using pof's method.

I heard this before from my friend who work in Kyoto, he bring my brand new Softbank last Sep '07 when he came back to Indonesia with risk that i can't unlocked it. I don't know what production you have, but mine came with radio 1.14.
Hopefully that some people at this forum can figure it out the problem with your Softbank.

Post April 2007 can't be unlocked that way. Some do claim to have unlocked it via certain pay sites that charge for the job though. Read the relevant thread dude. Hint: use the search function.

You don't need to CID unlock but you do need to install Hard-SPL. Then you can flash any ROM you like. Try reading the wiki and read the forums about flashing before you flash for the first time.
The sticky posts on the Forums often cover the basics.

hooold it! before you make a big mistake.
* ALWAYS use hard spl!
* use any rom that you like
* update it...and that's all
you don't use CID lock unless you are 100% sure of what you're doing! when you're device is CID unlocked there is no way back!
(a pain in the *ss with warrenty issues)
Is there are way to know if your phone is already CID unlock or not?
Cuz i bought my phone with a custom rom in it already... so i know that it has been HardSPL already, but i don't know if they had unlock the security/CID or not...

Only the SPL, the Vario IV's are not locked.
(The one I have isn't, a "contract" renewal, got it for free )

Hi I have issue with start any rom upgrade at my phone. i have 1,14 rom wersion iside my HTC. when i try to install any rom i god error mesge and phone back to Vodafone is without simlock but is impossible to install any rom. can i ask you for help. i have use one of rom from comunity and after 5 min with 0% recive error 262.

Pretty sure error 262 is vendor ID check which means your not Hard-SPL or CID unlocked i'd advise you take some time to read the stickys at the top of forum before going any further...

I didn't really understand your question but if you mean "debrand" you can flash the ftf debranded rom or any custom rom (some of them requires unlocked bootloader). I'm sorry if i misunderstood your question.
