Since i'am lazy ... and i always want to see the date and time in the taskbar .. without regedit and put stylus out for softreset ,)
i wrote a little program so u can change the look of your date and time shown at the windows mobile taskbar.
Maybe u find it useful too ,) have fun ..
Tips and fixed Bugs
TF USA Date Formate Calendar Bug : (FIXED)
Try the new version (> v0.2.1) to set your date corresponding to your Date Format US / EU
a few known things that registry tweaks can't / can do
Note 1: If you are switching to the Analog clock display, the date will remain visible through the Analog clock.
Note 2: Setting the clock to invisible (show ‘nothing’) will not release the reserved space, so taskbar background is shown, and obscure any icons that will shift to the right.
Note 3: The date may get overlapped by the space reserved for the OK/Close button in the top-right corner. The fix is to add spaces at the end of your ‘Short Date Format’.

is there any way of positioning it to show the date and time in the center of the taskbar? That'd give me the best both worlds, as I love the custom taskbar icons. thanks!
And... could you let us change the font and size as well as centering it?
I have been running rltoday "full screen" with one of the "hide the taskbar" programs. I can't see the WM icons that way though, and whenever I rotate to hardware keyboard.... the taskbar comes back. Still using 8125/Wizard/WM5.
Will look after that ,9 but i'am away now over the weekend ...
for positioning the date u can try a little workaround .. put some spaces after the short date
like "dd/MM " then it gets positioned a bit more to the left

Actually, there is a bug with this application. Once installed on my Diamond, the Calendar no longer shows any appointments on the TF today screen. I have had to restore twice now....
Install with caution and BACK UP FIRST.

I would like to request a feature laking in this program:
I have manila installed. so n my today screen I need to have the battery, but on the other programs clock and date.
right now I am experiencing a "bug" the the clock overlaps the battery in the today screen.
I know that it is a simple regtry setting, but looking for it is a pain. so many programs installed, and I forgot the name of the key.
great program though. I especially like that it changes the date format for the whole device.
Most important thing for me is to remember what DAY it is rather than the month and year, so I had mine set to ddd/dd. now if only I can figure out how to do that in manila.

First hi all ,) i'am back from SMS ...
that can't be a bug since .. the app only changes the dateformat like u want.
Maybe your calender doesn't like your new dateformat ?

I have similar problem and I have tried all date format.... How do I get my calendar to work like before. Now my calendar only shows all day events...

I am currently using TouchFLO3D Version 1.0 software dated August 17th 2003 [ROM Version 1.19.707.1 (51489) WWE-ROM Date 05/15/09], it is an original ROM from HTC installed on my Touch Pro 2 T7373 running on WM 6.1 Professional. Hope you can help settle this issue soonest possible as I am still having this little problem with my device and don't know what to do with it. Really miss the calendar display.

S2V is a stylus-free picture viewing application. It can also be used to set up the wallpapers for S2U2 (0.97 or later); assign a pic to a contact; set it as Today's wallpaper; or send it via MMS/email.

- WM5 Phone or WM6 Professional devices
- free RAM: at least 6M for QVGA
- if you cannot start S2V, delete the whole registry tree HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\A_C\S2V, then start S2V again.

- added the options to change the sorting menu symbol. It's only useful for those devices that cannot display the triangles on the sorting menu. How? Thumbnail view & folder view (press the folder name to view that folder's pic; press the ARROW to view that folder's sub-folders)
Operations:
- Slide the screen to view the previous or next picture (or press the DPAD left/right);
- Slide on the left-side screen from top to bottom to rotate 90 degrees anti-clockwise; slide from bottom to top to rotate 90 degrees clockwise; when sliding on the right-side screen, the rotation will be opposite.
- Press DPAD Up to Zoom-in or Down to Zoom-out; double-tap the screen or push the DPAD-ACTION to return to the normal view.
- Slightly press the screen to call up the lower menu.
- Press the Back button at the Thumbnail screen to browse folders.

- Under your PC/MAC/device, extract the content of the downloaded file & copy the CAB file to your device.
- Under your device, run any File Explorer application; go to the folder where the CAB file is copied; run the CAB file.
Known limitations & FAQs:
Q. Do I have to install the old version before using this version?
A. No.
Q. How to use the .CAB file?

Q. Can a GIF file be assigned to a contact?
A. No.
Q. When viewing GIF file, there is no animation?!
A. Yes.
Q. After assigning a photo to a contact, the Activesync on the PC shows an error!
A. It's because the size of the assigned photo is too large for Outlook to handle. You may manually press the sync button once more to dismiss the error, but it will not be saved in Outlook.
A. Upgrade to v0.38 or later.
Q. After running S2V a while, the ZOOM function/folder browsing does not work!
A. That's because your device is running out of free memory.
Q. When browsing folders, I cannot view the subfolders?! S2V always say "no picture here"?!
A. It's because the pics are sit at the subfolders. If a folder has subfolders, an "ARROW" button will be displayed next to it. Press that "ARROW" button will show the subfolders.
Q. After assigned a pic as Today's wallpaper, then change to Landscape mode, the wallpaper does not work?!
A. You have to assign another pic as the Landscape wallpaper as well.
Q. After assigned a pic as Today's wallpaper, it does not work?!
A. Try other today theme; some themes have problem when wallpaper is altered.

I'd like to announce my latest app, 3 months in the making: Avatar! Avatar is a photo dialer with the ultra-smooth scrolling and low memory footprint characteristics you love about iContact and iDialer.
Avatar is extremely easy to use:
Flick to scroll among your contacts. Contacts without pictures will not show up.
Tap an avatar to bring up details. This is where iContact integration kicks in: if iContact is installed, Avatar will use it. If not, it will bring up the standard contact manager.
Tap-and-hold on an avatar to call using that contact's "smart property": the one that shows up in the standard contact manager. "<m>" = mobile, "<w>" = work, "<h>" = home, etc.

Just requires a folder named "My Todays" on the Storage Card, a simple text file in that folder named "a" containing either a "1" OR "0" to start.
Then create a shortcut to your windows start menu, then hook up with HButton.
How about the first contact icon (top left) and last icon in avatar to minimize?
Or a left to right swipe across screen to minimize?
This addition to the iContact/iDialer/GreenButton family is awesome!

Nope, it's a simple install.
Closing Avatar....
If you touch the top right corner of the screen it will exit the program. (It stays running in the background though).
If you want it to COMPLETELY close after you exit, point your registry editor to
HKCU/SOFTWARE/SUPWARE.NET/AVATAR/exitOnMinimize
and change the value from zero (0) to one (1).

Just a few thought, there could be some extra options to:
- See the default taskbar (easier to close)
- Close on action (I saw the registry tip and noticed they are both there, eheheh)
- Switch click methods (click to call, press to see info)
- See all contacts, the ones without photo would have the default avatar picture (some I just cant get a photo easily).

I fixed the link on my web site, thanks. For your #3, I originally had it switched, but I ended up accidentally calling people all the time. I think the way it is now is safer. For #4, I thought about that too, but my list would then look like mostly default avatars with a couple pictures every now and then. In that case, using a photo dialer is more annoying than just a text list of names like iContact. I thought perhaps if changing it to display a "category" instead of "all contacts" it would be better to display default avatars, but right now it can't display a single category. Maybe in the next version
I really love this app. Possible enhancement: being able set the contacts to match a category. This way if you want only a certain group you can set that, like an office setting and weekend setting.

That's a good idea. I've been thinking how to best handle that, and how to integrate it with iContact.
Fantastic app.
On my Diamond some photo contacts appear distorced, would be nice an option to show the photos in the real proportions (cutting the top&bottom or left/right sides).

great app! don't add default avatar images, the point is that only your "favourites" are showing up - the people you cared to add image for.
for that reason, it may make sense to add an extra button to the iContact app (on the bottom) which would open the Avatar! For me that would be more useful than the current iContact favourites, which is only a(n incomplete) category filter (without separation/scrolling by first letter, nor the option to chose a category different than the favoured...)
Thinking in this way - best solution would be that the favourites button is changed to open avatar button.

Tab 1 (Pages):
This is the foundation of the launcher. Before adjusting anything else, you will want to create a new page. To achieve this, simply enter a title for the new page on the first line of this tab. Then, select the preferred launcher pattern. The left box is the pattern set for portrait mode, the right is for landscape. Experiment with a few until you find one you like (previews can be viewed on dev’s site). Next, click “add” and you’ll see the entry displayed in the bottom window. If you decide to change the pattern later, be sure to click edit after making the changes or they may not take.
Tab 2 (Apps):
This is where you’ll be adding the shortcuts for each page of the launcher. Select one of your pages from the drop down menu and click “add.” For some reason, the app doesn’t seem to be very efficient in auto-searching for files or shortcuts (first two choices), so I recommend adding the file path manually. First, enter the text that you want displayed for a particular shortcut and then type in the path to that program on the line labeled “PATH.”
For example, I added Opera Mobile 9.7 by entering “\Program Files\Opera Mobile\OperaL.exe”
You’re not just restricted to program shortcuts using the manual entry method. You can also add shortcuts to other file types like images. If you don’t enjoy tapping the bottom left/right corners of the launcher to switch pages, you can add shortcuts to other pages by choosing the second to last choice from the drop down menu (during the add app process). Blank placeholders can be added by using the last option in the drop down menu, which can be used to customize the pattern of the launcher. If anyone’s able to figure out a friendlier way of using the automated method, let us know in the comments.
Tab 3 (Themes):
This tab doesn’t appear to be in use at the moment, but will probably be used in the future to quickly change themes of the launcher.
Tab 4 (General Settings):
This tab has the most Japanese characters (or blocks), so I edited a screen shot of it with English translations. View it at the end of this post.
Tab 5 (Plug-in Height):
Adjust the height of the actual plug-in here. The option at the bottom adjusts the height of the page switch area.
Tab 6 (Plug-in Width):
Likewise, you can adjust the width of the plug-in here.
Tab 7 (Colors):
Here you can change different colors associated with the launcher. The first choice is for changing the frame color, the second is for the font and the last one is to adjust the launcher’s transparency.

yep, there are couple of background motion types, in Tab1
you can setup multiple pages, which could be changed as you said by taping/sliding at right

Be sure to check out the new app they made. jTSKLnch ... same core as TDlnch but runs as a standalone app. Its more usefull I think because you can have screens with 10+ icons and they will unfold over the exiting today screen or whatever app you are in.
I mapped it to the start button so it launches quickly from anywhere.

This version is amazing and really good working. The GPRS service is working perfect. At the weekend the app have found 12 satalites in my range. Wow.
And in the next three weeks the DUSK theme will be online for this app. Yes this is sience stuff and my wife and me we love stuff like this.

ONE Suggestion: The App is really COOL, Fast and Beautyfull
Maybe in the next release can be added in the Menu "My Location Service" and when you tap it your Exact location to be found by the GPS because now for example the APP recognize me by the Time Zone not exactly my Location so i live in Rousse City Bulgaria and the Application recognize me like im in Sofia because Sofia is the Capital.
Also the GPS Position is ON but i didnt see any changes..

1. GPS Works outdoors only when 6-8 satelites are visible.
2. It takes ~ 1-2 minutes while GPS detects your location.
3. Once your coordinates detected they are stored in the configuration file so you can turn GPS off to save your battery life.

How to enable Cell Tower Positioning @ HTC HD2
1. Connect your device to a PC with ActiveSync
2. In Windows Explorer please open Program FilesDeluxe Moon folder at your
device e.g. "Computer\\Program FilesDeluxe Moon"
3. Download DeluxeMoon.settings.xml to your PC.
4. Open DeluxeMoon.settings.xml with Notepad (use Open With... context menu in Windows Explorer)

I mean for example in iGO when the iGO search for satelites you can see the animation and everything that the program is searching but in the case i didn`t see anything for that reason i was thinking just nothing heppand

I try it now i left my device outdoor for around 10 minutes and Nothing heppand then i decide to RUN my iGO without to close the Moon Application and what heppend is after the iGo found alot of Satelites i just close the iGo and when i come back to the Deluxe Moon My exact cordinates was there WOW so this mean all is cool and working for me..
Also i believe alot in this Things and i know that the MOON is very importmantly for US and for everything life on the Earth and not Only.. i know a Person who is a trader in the Stock Market and he USE only the MOON Fases to trade and he have serious success on that.

To have options to add your Zodiac sign for example i download the APP install it and im a Virgo so i can add that im Virgo and thats it..
When the App know im Virgo can write me.. witch Days are good for me, what i can expect from this days and what is good to do in this days..
This will be very usefull 1st because Everyone have his own Zodiac Sign and second one if i want to chek for some friend i will be able just to add his or her Zodiac and to see it with his INFO lol.

for example 26 April FULL MOON under Virgo:
The whole day will be good for you, its good to meet with new persons, and to make bussines.
For example 27 April 97% Moon under Virgo or any other Sign:
The day is not your perfect day, its not good to make bussines or make investitions because have a big chance to lose them.

I'm a huge CHT fan and I'm very interested in creating custom widgets.
Do not expect anything awesome and bug-free. I'm still a beginner and I don't know how certain stuff work. But I still hope my widgets will make your day easier...
IMPORTANT NOTES (READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING):
Use my widgets only at your own risk! HTC Sense is very fragile and can be crashed very easily. I release only widgets that are working on my device, but I can't guarantee that it'll work on your device too. If it's not working, than you're just unlucky. My first idea was to develop widgets only for myself and it's my good will that I'm releasing them here. Again - use it only at your own risk, I don't have much knowledge about how HTC Sense works and if you run into some troubles, I can't help you.
Do NOT expect any eye-candy! I'm just a programmer, not graphic-master and I have serious problems with making anything (apps, widgets, web pages etc.) look beautiful. By the way - I'm using only built-in graphics. For example the calculator widget uses graphic from e-mail tab as background and buttons are just empty quicklinks. What does it mean for you? It means that if you use some skin which replaces e-mail tab look, then the same skin will be shown in calculator widget. I recommend to use only the default theme.
I'm not Lua master, so my widgets are very limited to my knowledge. I started learning Lua about week ago only because it's the programming language used in HTC Sense (and CHT).
You can post your widget request, but don't expect a positive answer from me due to the previous point. But if it's something what can be developed with my knowledge, then I'll most probably create it
Feedbacks are appreciated as I want to make my widgets as good as possible. But please, do not write anything about how the widgets LOOK LIKE, only about how they BEHAVE and WORK
Feel free to edit the widgets in any way you want, that's why I release kitchens too. Just please, mention me as an author and add link to this thread when releasing it anywhere.

Description: Stopwatch... just tap it to start ticking, tap it again to stop and tap it for 3rd time to reset it. Ticking pauses itself when device put in sleep and continues when woke up. I don't know how to make the widget work in sleep mode - if you want this feature, then do not put device in sleep, just turn screen off

I didn't find a way how to switch between levels, so for now it works only for pages on one level. Those who use 1 level and 5 pages (like me) will definitely find this useful

If you pin this widget and it disappears, try making it smaller. This happens mostly when using 6 or 7 pages, I use 5 pages and have no problem.
If you don't have English ROM and your program files folder has different name than "Program Files", than you need to copy all files from \yourProgramFiles\ZaxWidgets to \Program Files\ZaxWidgets to make it run (thanks to mike2nl for feedback). I'll fix that and make it compatible with CHTS in the future.

I'm planning this widget as I want it too, however, I don't have enough knowledge right now to create it... I guess you'll have to wait few weeks/months.

Calendar: Should be possible and not too difficult, but I'll create only month view.

Twitter: I can't make a text input field, I don't have any experience with twitter API, unfortunately I say NO.
Google: Only as soon as I find out how to make a text input field, but I say YES as I want this widget too
Youtube: If I create a Google widget, than it will be easy to modify it to search Youtube

I've already googled it, but there's one point in changelog which makes me feel very upset:
Removed support for Setup.dll (does anyone use this?)
I don't know if this mentioned Setup.dll is the same as Setup.dll required by CHT...
I don't know about this setup.dll
All I can say is I already use it to change manila files (with CHT2.0) and some registry files ... it works fine

Yes, I'm sure it works fine with files and registry values, but the setup.dll is a bit mystery for me. According to widget guide, the setup.dll file is needed for proper installation - it searches for first free widget slot and puts the widget in there, but I don't know if I can use this setup.dll as normal file or it has to be put in the cab by some special way as the setup.dll must be run during installing. I'm a bit afraid of experimenting in this part, because I don't want to screw my HTC Sense and hard reset.
