i'm new at this forum, and i'm very glad with the help I already got: my athena (t-mobile ameo) is running again, although with quit al lot of problems.
good someone explain the difference between AP3, AP4, AP5, spl1.2 and spl3.5 and wich one is the best to use.
currently i have wm 6.5 on my athena, but this is really slow, should i change to another wm?

It's a hacked ROM, and not a lot of things work, but yeah...it IS frustrating.
WM6 on Prophet? Is that a big deal? Even if you're "only" running WM5 on your Hermes, your phone is still better. I used to own an i-mate JAMin and I find my new JASJAM a nice upgrade.
we cant even flash cooked roms yet on the hermes.. so just be patient, as soon as we master that i am sure that a WM6 version will surface
First let me convey a BIG thanks to the creators of the ATOM exec WM6 & 6.1 ROMs. But the Owners of ATOM exec has limited choice of works as far as WM6 or 6.1 ROM goes. GARMIN & nhocbanme can you help us with more options. Can we have your ROM also for ATOM exec besides ATOM ot PURE... Thanks

If you just used the search button you can find the WM6.1 for Atom Exec.
Try to use it, it's becoming useless nowadays

There is only one person in this whole world for AtomExec WM6.1 WWE. The ROM is still not perfect yet that the cause may be the original machine and drivers were not well designed.
Don't tell me you have a perfect solution.
My AtomExec still freezes quit a bit under either WM6.0 or WM6.1.

I don't have a solution to your problem so don't even ask for a perfect one. WM6.1 had just recently been released here in xda-dev and your asking this early for a better solution? Isn't this the same case when we all have the first taste of WM6? everyone goes gaga asking for a perfect ROM wherein they should be thankful enough for the ones who had given new life to our devices. Fixing bugs one at a time, developing and still researching how to make the ROM's clean.

I will buy any pocket PC, which is equipped with Nvidia's APX 2500 mobile processor.
Lets not get lost in the real issue... 1st of all we must thank xda-developers for giving a new life to our ATOMs... my only concern was can we have more versions of wm6 or 6.1 for ATOM Exec. ... ROM from GARMIN or nhocbanme would be welcomed.

Be patient mate if you want you can learn how to cook as well, im trying to do it right now hehehehe. Hopefully one of these days I can create my own ROM.

I have A titan with windows 5 on it and i try to upgrade it but it always turns off and then the upgrade discontinues, i need instructions on how to UPGRADE IT. Thank you

Then go for it.
Moguls came with WM5?
The Sprint Mogul came with wm6 when it was launched, but Sprint was also the last carrier to get the Titan.
My TELUS P4000 shipped with wm5 nearly six months before the Sprint Mogul release.
To the original poster: Do yourself a favor and get a good, solid wm6.1 ROM. Going from wm5 > wm6.5 is a bit of a heavy leap. Not only is wm6.5 not quite mature, it has higher RAM requirements which [according to MS] should be 128 megs.
I'm sure that requirement will eventually find its face busted in by xda-devs, but for the moment you could save yourself alot of disappointment by choosing wm6.1.
TPlane has made a pretty stable 6.5. Although they ask for more RAM in te requirements, it seems to be running no more than 6.1.
As for WM5 poster, perhaps it may be time to consider upgrading the hardware. If you have the hardware upgrade credits.

The mogul that shipped with wm5 is (i think) the same hardware that came with 6. i've never seen 1st/2nd gen on the device. both of my alltel titans just have PPC6800 on the sticker with the esn.
@OP, read up some. flashing your device isn't as scary as it looks

The Tytn and Titan are two completely different phones. Make sure you are flashing firmware for the right phone!

As was already stated the TITAN and the TYTN are two completely different phones. Using software for the Titan on your TyTN can brick it.

Hi All,
I am sure this topic has been answered many times however I tried a search and cannot find the information I require. I would like to take My verizon Wireless vx6800 and uprade from WinMo 6.1 to 6.5. I have found alot of nice builds on this website. I would like to use the 6.5 designed by Ryan Mogul. My questions however is to just install 6.5 do I need to unclock my phone? I don't want to switch carriers or anything. I want to be able to have 6.5 and have MMS and GPS. I want all of the original functionality. Do I need to also get a radio cab as well as an MMS/GPS cab?
I'm sorry for the long post as I am still VERY new to this.

NVM. i figured it out. I did ALOT of reading and after the better part of a few hours I now have 6.5 on my phone.
I wish you could be in a new and better job and be compatible with the device and be faster, such as WM 6

could it be that the ROM development for the Athena x7500 has ended here? I ask this question because there is no apparent activity in that direction.
