I was unable to get it to work on my Atom Life, but you may have better luck.

Well after finding this site around a month ago and installing all the versions on SE found here, i have deceided to downgrade my M1000 back to factory settings 1.66 rom.
Reasons i have are here :-
- Bluetooth headset sound quality was pants on SE (all versions)
- Unable to get BT activesync to work correctly
- BT Hide and seek plugin...
Basicaly BT was pants.
I've got all the functionallity of SE using SRS including the niec bliss today plugin, running the battery_ou from the ext.rom and just need to get a nice looking keyboard skin and i'm sorted......
Don't know if intelli dailer or the other one intelli pad works in 2003 butm who cares never used it anyway.
If anyone can think of a reason to stay with SE apart from Landscape let me know.... cheers

I don't think there will be official release for WM2003SE for XDAII.
For XDA2 owners, the best bet is to wait.

I am back to the good old ROM for simple reasons in the order that it bugs me.
1. Missing Calls.... Phone never ring or No Signal on the caller end
2. Suspicious compatibily with many programs
3. Landscape do not appeal to me
4. Only want to work well with Pocket Knife (Chinese PIM)
First off happy new year to every one.... Then, the battery_ou is a little program (around 63k) that puts a battery indicator on the task bar status bar next to the clock and adds a task manager link to the bottom bar.

SRS v4 is fine for landscape mode and getting the lovely 'bliss' theme
the only other thing is the start button looking a bit pants in wm2003 compared to SE, but i guess you can use something like wisbar advance to skin that unless they is something that can change it ?
Would updating to 1.72 be any good ? i used 2.02 for ages and found it great apart from the BT functions, no one has apparently been able to come up with an easy solution to these, so gonna wait until someone can post up a complete M2000 rom image that will run on the M1000

A2DP
A2DP is working but needs some steps to work.
Step1. first Pair headset with phone then turn of bt headset and bt on phone.
Step2. turn on BT on phone then turn on BT headset and it shout pop up the BT Sterio icon on topbar.
For thoses that want powertray and WIFItray here is a addon View attachment Tray_fixes.CAB
Tips
Battery status has an option called CpuScaler it's nice when you use the phone alot.. but it uses battery when the phone is in standby because it will acualy keep the cpu buissie trying to keep it at the lower setting.
What I do is I overclock to 260 and let Battery status show cpu then I can just tap the 195 or 260 to get the speed I wan't and when going to bed just set it to 195Mhz and the battery usage is almost nothing

8MB is a bit faster and 4MB has more ram

Note 1:
V5 final is as fast as your series before (to be honest, much more faster than the well-known version especially surfing the internet), but Voice Speed Dial can't be initiated by handsfree, same as V4....(this issue has been solved by V5bera...) Could it be possible for you to release a patch for that? Thank you very very much!
Note 2:
As same recharge problem as before (it happened sometimes when I using G4 and G5beta), nothing changes when the device is linked to USB...don't know why. (It's hard-resetted after flashing). The only solution is to soft-reset the device to get it around...
Note 3:
X button on the upper-right corner works like a charm (sorry to borrow your own words), though the x problem never occured to me with V4 and V5beta.

This rom has somethings that PDAVIET don't have. as u menthioned Transcriper, working BT A2DP htc thouch intellipad BT FTP and probable some other things, but PADVIET has some thing I think that I havn't included Flash And Adobe reader.... and this rom is bigger withch gives 2MB more room for stuff.
I will download the homeplug icons and see

How, not replying to couple of posts has anything to do with race ?!! he has been working on these ROMs for days and nights!! the man has a family, he also has to sleep!! Give him a break!! the least you can do is try the ROM yourself, and respect who made it.
PS: how would he know you are oriental ?!!

Gullum said that he was going to include the A2DP driver from Fantastic rom into the V5. I am downloading now and will check it out. Will let you know later. The sound quality of the BT stereo is also my main concern for choosing the rom to use. That is why I am using Fantastic B4 despite the bugs there.

Thanks for the reasoning. I do understand the way to respect others. Mr, Gullum is the one I respect most in this forum. I mean it! I posted the previous message because I do have that kind of feeling. I still respect Mr, Gullum for his contribution and talent. But please, please try to think of it that if you were the one who got nothing after posting many times with solid suggestion? From my 1st glance, the rom is fast. No battery drain and memory drain (I've flashed the 8M version) problems are found. As for BT, I don't know why. After I paired the BT with my iTech S38 up, there is not a stereo headset sign / logo on the top bar of the screen. And all the sounds are still coming out from the speaker of the phone itself. This is why I cannot test the sound quality of the BT Stereo yet. As you said, you have included the A2DP driver of Fantastic B4. That is why I am so excited to see your V5 rom and flashed it immediately.
Could you tell me how to activate the BT Stereo headset so that I could check and report the sound quality to you?

I am having problems configuringt the Phone Pad. It worked perfectly in the V5 beta with the cab-file installed, but with this ROM the Option button does not work. Gullum, do you have any idea how to solve this?

-I am not taking a lot of photos with my prophet, so I am happy with the old camera driver
-4MB page pool version is fast enough for me, I prefer ram rather than several seconds of speed
-single instance of windows live messenger (in contrary to pdaviet 4.0.0.6, which runs another messenger instance even if you are already signed in. I had to write a simple program and pointed wlmmessenger.lnk to my wlmloader.exe to have only one instance)
-I liked the keyboard in this rom more because the keys are bigger. however, I don't know if it was also available in pdaviet)
-I have reset the device several times and no losing of anything for now
-the device doesn't lock up during boot while it is connected via usb cable.
I installed wm6 because I needed more program memory and .net cf v2.0 is already installed, not taking any more space in program memory. I read a lot of threads and disappointed with wm6 issues. But it seems that this version has no problems for now. I have overclocked the device to 247MHz (I had problems with higher clocks before)

Another question. How do I get the Streaming media app to play .3gp streams. When I click a link it just opens WMP and I get an error message. I have gotten this to work earlier, but I just can´t remember what I did then.
Any help is apriciated.

i want to flash my prophet with the prophettouch v5 version from gullum. in step 1 you write i have to install any of the 3 other roms first. so i downloaded "pdaviet step 1" but the rar-file is locked by a password i don't know.

If you are talking about T9 landgauges then it's because I removed all but English. And streaming 3g I have never tried myself so maybe someone that has tryed it.
Ok I'm new here, just switched from my old (now dead) Charmer to a Prophet and came here looking for a WM6 rom.
So far, I have tried the following and wanted to weigh up the pros and cons of each:
1. gullum's Touch IX
Fast, lots of memory but a bit overloaded, album didn't work and BT activesync didn't work as normal
2. TNT
This was okay but seemed to "stutter" a bit so performance not so good.
3. Crystal 4
This is fast, looks nice but misses some of the things I'm used to (so I have to go looking for cabs). It also doesn't lock the buttons even when you set it to - so if I use it as a music player any of the buttons can get pressed when the screen is off. I wish I could find a workaround for that one.
4. About to try gullm's Touch VIII
I guess I am looking for a fairly light WM6 which is fast. I don't like the new HTC keyboard at all but the phonepad was good. I like the cube but its not important. It is important that everything works as it should - e.g. bluetooth.
Any advice based on experience?
you forgot to try Cloudyfa's ROMs. mysterious and transformer.
After you've tried those, you can make your decision cause there's nothing else except cooking your own rom! =)
i would try the Transformer or Crystal roms as mr_yellow states.. They are pretty stable and phonepad with many langauges.. And they have network wizard so you don't need to remember your GPRS and MMS settings if you have to hard reset on your way
And with transformer, you can choose the look you want
if you want cube, touch, speed,camera album go for gullum IX(his X would be too good),infact go for it if you want everything install after you flash it ,else go for others and then find the cabs to install later.

I did try that one. The album didn't work properly (didn't recognize gestures) and bluetooth activesync doesn't work. Hopefully the bugs will be ironed out with a X release. In the meantime, I'm testing Touch VIII to see how it compares.

Have you tried Claudyfa Rom's?
I am runing mysterious 1.0 with touch cube cab, and it's simply great. Never had one ROM with so low battery consuption. I like the design too, but that can be changed.

bluetooth solution cab has been found ,camera album works but you have to click gesture help for it everytime or install camera album again .

On each prophet's Roms I've tested, Bluetooth's parameters are loosed after soft reset (headset must be paired again and again ...).
Is it a WM6's problem or only with these roms ?

Yes, I see that. I think the bluetooth cab then stops usb working or something. Sounds a bit flaky. I've had a go with Touch VIII and it is suiting me pretty well so far.
Not tried the Mysterious one yet, tropheuz, but I'm sure I will.
What I have found so far from the roms I have used is they all have pros and cons - I don't mean different cabs installed but some just have BT working well, or everything's fine except wifi, or whatever. It would be good if the people cooking roms could come up with a standard agreed base where everything works and then add their favourite apps and themes on top of it. Just an idea.

All of them will work, the newest isn't always the best, and make sure you have hardSPL flashed.
(though the newest has been noted to be fast but quite hard on the battery when using a data connection)
Just upgraded both ROM and Radio
I'm not new here but don't comment much...just read a lot. But I just upgraded to the PDAVIET and love it. Just have to manually add Schaps configuration tool so I can turn off that darn text message sent sound. Looking now for a good simple audio manager besides Windows Media Player (Suggestions?). Sorry...back on topic. I also upgraded my radio from 1.47 to 1.56. Can't comment on much since I haven't tested it in several areas, but so far it looks good. In my office I'm hitting "H" which I wasn't getting before.
I'm on AT&T, using an 8525, in southern CA area. Hope this helps a little.

unfortunatly energy roms are without blueooth hid support to install keyboards or anything like that like stock rom does.
is there any cab to reinstall the service?
found an old cab (year about 2007 and 93kb ), but it doesnt work.

The latest Energy Sincity Rom has HID support as well as every other profile under the sun. Yzou sure you have or where looking at the latest ROM?
Look under settings, then BT, then select the profiles tab. If it shows HID there then you have HID support and the issue would be with your setup process or your BT device you are trying to use.

So you are saying what I say is not true when i see the profile right in front of me on my phone which is running the Jan 11 Sincity ROM? Maybe he was talking about older ROMS or We are not talking about the same phone which I have a Pure which i believe is the same. Honestly if you don't believe me then load up the recent sincity ROM and look for yourself. The profile is there. Furthermore I just connected to a guess what? Belkin BT mouse.

the profile appears at my phone too, nevertheless it doesnt connect my keyboard (not mouse) with the phone.
as i said: stock rom at same phone does!
the style you name sincity is actually called .sencity and there is no actual GER Version available at the time
