Since you are in a HTC T4242 forum, if it is not stated otherwise, you can be sure than what you find is for the official phone.
Again, the official T4242 and the clones do not share many things, except their look. Their hardware have nothing in common, so don't ask for support on the official devices' forum, we can't do anything for you.

It is NOT POSSIBLE to flash or replace the ROM on your device with a dumped rom. At the moment there is no portuguese ROM available.

Same thing here, I have a htc tytn with the portuguese rom (bought to TMN)! And I have some problems in my wireless connection when I connect to a wireless network that requires a certificate! ...... without the portuguese rom we are stuck.. because If anything goes wrong in the upgrade process we don't have any manner to downgrade to the original rom.. and by the way we loose the guarantee..

Tools to dump niki ROM (HTC Touch Dual)
Hi Download this tool, unzip and run dump.bat
This will dump your original ROM. Make sure activesync is not running.
When done you should have four files. Maybe you can zip them and upload them.
I just tested the tools with VISTA Ultimate and it seems to work.

Well I guess that now Bram's working on it, I don't have to. Compared to me Bram is leet so, well if it still won't work contact me via pm.
Hmmmzzz... flashed back and it didn't work, only the splash screens and no further bootup.
Think i maked a mistake with dumping.
Tomorrow i'm going off to a t-mobile shop here in tilburg and ill try get the rom update there.

But pmmfleandro is looking for a branded rom and as far as I know the portuguese rom in Netrunnerat's folder isn't branded.
I'm still looking for the pthpd.kdb file to make the Portuguese XT9 cab which is working with a 16 keys hardware keypad. And I am hoping that the file (which isn't included in the rom you post) is in another Portuguese rom.

Contact TMN directly, they provide the .cabs for other unbranded PPCs... I had a dump of that TMN rom in the past, but delete it.

I'm having some problems with keyboard.
After flashing the PT rom the numeric keyboard only intputs numeric values.
I have a HTC Dual from orange with 16 keys (12+4).
Do I have to get some special rom ?
PS: I used the more recent rom and problem was solved.
Hey Folks,
I cooked a rom of JC's Fire v12 Rom and dumped German HTC Stock Rom.
Used is for some hours now and noticed no bugs.
There is no extra software installed, in the next days i will upload the dumped stock Rom for the chefs arround here.
Uploading has begun and is finished in approx. 20 minutes.
Remember to have HardSPL installed and do a Hard Reset after flashing.
In the next days i release another Rom in German and English.
Upload complete.

sorry for my stupid question but i am a newby.
I have my HTC Touch Pro since yesterday. I think the HTC release is very buggy. My device freeze and sometimes crash. I had to remove the battery twice.
Do you have the same experiences?

GPS gets no fix
Maybe anybody may help me:
I have installed that german rom this thread is belonging and also the RadioRom ver. 1.02.25.31.
Now the device is working fast so far and even better than with the orignal roms and radio but i could not use gps because the program igo and visualgps cant catch any sattlite although there are more than 10 in the view.
Does anybody figured out same problems? maybe its depending on the radio mybe on the rom or even to both.
every suggest is welcome.
