i have a weird situation, a customer of mine has an unlcoked fuze with a generic version, he wanna use it with AT&T, unfortuntely there is no label on the back with a serial number so i can download the ROM from the HTC site. and i cant find it on the ftp site, would anyone pls upoload it to rapidshare.

Did you look in the Roms section of this forum? They usually have a thread stickied with stock roms. I assume you are looking for stock since I would hope you know the incredible cooked roms available on this site.

this is not official, because when i tried to installed on my device (HTC S411) it showed me INVALID CERTIFICATE... there is another official rom for this? or maybe this is possible to convet to VALID CERTIFICATE...
there's no way of signing roms for the startrek, and being that the rom for the s411 is rebuilt from a rom dump........i'm guessing you need to use the softspl in order to flash it. u *may* not need to supercid, but i think its better if you do.

I've got a replacement fuze today, to replace one that is ringing now. Is there a way to "clone" the rom on the replacement so I can send my original phone back to my provider? Thanks. I've looked, but i could not find the answer before. I've tried downloading the rom off the wiki, but the rapidshare isn't working for me.

I tried there. I have AT&T, but was unable to dl any of the roms. Rapidshare is screwy some times... Any other place to get the lastest stock rom from AT&T?

Just checked the HTC website and I've just discovered a new ROM for T-Mobile(uk?) users was uploaded yesterday
Version 1.33.110.2
Luckily for me I'm a t-mobile user, but I havnt noticed anyone talking about a 1.30+ rom yet

ALSO note that this is for T-Mobile UK branded Mega's ONLY
(you could try using it, but dont complain when your GPRS/mms/etc settings are preconfigured for T-mobile!!)
Thanks for this.. looks like the crappy T Mobile release is the best we can hope for. At least YouTube gets its own application, so I don't get the "Finding Network..." error when loading videos from IE

T Mobile must have paid millions for HTC to lock the Mega with them, this is a really nice phone, especially if you don't want to carry a laptop sized thing (HD2) with you
Why can't they make a single ROM with no branding on it (or at least don't block changing the ROM)
... If anything, seeing the bloody T Mobile thing on start up makes me less likely to switch to them, and go to Virgin or stay with O2.

It is, but only for UK T-Mobile branded phones. Its not for every HTC Mega.

I have no Idea about the other brands... My phone was originally in Italian then I was able to Flash it with an WWE Rom.. I don't think that I won't be able to reflash it with the latest rom version released by the other providers...

Then my friend you have not branded mobile phone. That means you must put only WWE updates, this update is only for T-Mobile Phones from UK, when you swich on/off the phone you see T-Mobile, now did you get that this is not for you, wait for the 1.33 WWE version.

however, based on my experiences for my two remaining devices as seen in my signature.. I used to flash stock roms from other carriers as well as their updates... so why can't i flash the mega???

OK so I'm new here to the HD2 forums so hey. I just been given one as a temp replacement to a broken SE Xperia Mimmi.
So I've found it easy to get android on to my HD2 and everything went smoothly (a few hiccups, nothing serious though). What I didn't think about though was the availability of the original ROM of windows mobile that was on the phone. I didn't write it down because I had read already that you can just flash back for warranty purposes. And I also knew that there were official ROMs posted here. But, I cant find the original Telstra branded ROM. Maybe I've missed it as I may be labelled something else, I don't know, but I have searched and i can't find it.
Can I please get some help as to where I can find this ROM or even another Telstra branded ROM.
If you need any more information from me just let me know.

What about the Telstra ROM 1.72.841.0 provided on official Australian HTC site: http://www.htc.com/au/help/htc-hd2/#download
I don't know if there is any difference to New Zealand HD2 Telstra models.

Hey thanks for that. I dont need the NZ one if there is one, just the australian one as the phone is from there.
The link to the htc site works but when I click on download it doesn't download, it redirects to a google chrome page saying
"Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to dl4.htc.com"
Any suggestions?
