I want to tether Play Station Portable to my Touch Pro - Touch Pro CDMA

I have searched everywhere I have WMWiFiRouter but it only does Ad Hoc for the Hot Spot. PSP only uses Ad Hoc for Game to Game, I have this posted over at PPCG as well and still no solutions. Playstation forums have come up with nothing as well. Google was a total bust. The only good thing out of all of this is I did find a blue tooh remote for the TP that works on the PS3, nice add on but not what I need. I am looking for a work around guys, I want to link the PSP to my TP's internet so I can link up with the PS3 while I am out and about. PayPal donation is up for grabs for a working solution.

sorry mods, company pc has issues, kill the extra thread please

[Q] Use android phones as WII controller

I wonder if it isn't possible to use android phones as a remote for the WII. There are games which don't use the IR input, for example New Super Mario. In principle we have all sensors to play this game. Am I wrong?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Heck with the Wii. I want it to do my laundry
No other opinions?
Could it be done or not. If somebody has some information on this it would be great. Even if I am not a dev pro till now I am thinking of looking into this.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Yes
Yea its a simple blue tooth connection it should be possible to connect to the wii if you know the correct commands the question is it possible to write a program to output those commands as you enter them into the phone. Im sure it is heck at that point you could get the accelerator outputs to feed into the program and use it for wii bowling and the such... have at it.
I don't think so. Not unless you phone has infered.
The no infrared problem is something I like to look into if I ever get the connection between the wii and the phone. My question is ... has somebody ever connected anything except a wii remote with the wii. All attempts failed for me till now.
I'm still interested in this. So supprised that no one talks about this at all. There are plenty of game that dont need infrared.
It can be done but htc devices can have problem because "sense"
And samsung devices having problem with different bluetooth stacks i think.
Can be bluetooth stack problem with htc devices too

I too feel there is a need for this. I watch a lot of Netflix on my WII console, but I am often frustraded because my kids constantly lose the WII remotes or the batteries are often dead. Controlling from my phone would be grest for me
Same here. I already use HTC One as a TV remote.
Anyone find anything yet ? Theirs a app but doesn't work on android 4.2+

This might help you understand how Wiimote works

I know this thread is old as helllll, but I figured I'd bump it because I'm trying to devise a way to use my android in place of a wii mote. I have lost my wii mote, a few years ago when I was on 4.2 I believe it was, I scanned for the BT Mac address and used my android as a wii mote. But it would appear that lack of upkeep on this process is patched up. If I figure anything out I'll post update.
I know this is an old post, but did anyone get an android phone to work on the wii as a wiimote? with no ir?
Hey man! Take a look at this app in the playstore:
(mbhRemote)
In the first screenshot we can see a "WII" name.
See what you can do with this app and post us a reply. Thanx...
I doubt Nintendo would allow the use of non licensed tech. Why would they when they'd much rather have you go buy a new one? It would be a serious oversight on their part.

Best emulator apps and roms?

EDIT--Mods can move this to Themes and Apps section if necessary.
Making this thread about emulator apps and roms. What apps run well for you and what's your favorite roms for each?
You can ignore the following---
I'm jealous of my brother who has the Samsung Captivate because he got one of my favorite games, DOOM. I can't find it with my Eris even after running the market fix. I've tried just googling Doom.apk, but all it returns is the paid version that requires you to download the game files through the apk. And obviously since I didn't pay for it, it's not going to let me download the game files. My brother has the one that's free, about 5mb in size and made zhibin niu. I gave the developer my email and he sent me a link, but it only directs me to the market where it says it can't be found. If anyone knows where I can get a download of this, that would be great.
It can't be found on the market because the game doesn't support Eris phones. I doubt the eris could even run DOOM. It doesn't have the cpu or gpu power. Sorry bro.
That's probably true. I just wanted to be able to actually try it out and get confirmation so I can either stop searching for it or play the crap out of it.
You could always download the SNES emulator app and get the Doom rom for the Super Nintendo and play it that way.
Holy crap, can't believe that didn't occur to me. I actually have the SNES emulator and am downloading now. Much thanks!
Not a problem. The 4-5 dollars I spent on the Super Nintendo Emulator was the best money I have spent for my Eris.
update*
It plays, just obviously slow. Figures

Cool. Any suggestions on what games run well?
I play the Final Fantasy series. Which emulator are you using? I am using SNESoid. I have the roms for every SNES game ever released in the US, so I'll try out Doom later on in the next few days and let you know if I have any better luck and if I had to change any options.
I'm a very avid SNES fan. I still have my original SNES that I bought the third day it came out, and no plans to ever get rid of it, nor any of my games.

I'm with you. I still got mine, and it's still hooked up to my samsung lcd in the living room. I play it on occasion when I get nostalgic.
Any suggestions for which sites have good (non-corrupted) downloads?
Seems like every site I try is just a loop back to the same crappy webpage that I'm getting really tired of seeing.
I've been using ROM Grabber from the market and everything has been working fine. Not sure of any actual websites.
Sent from my FroyoEris using XDA App
Just google SNES roms. cool roms, dope roms, and romnation have good roms. I believe that they have been forced to take some games down though, like the Mario series. You can still find roms in the torrent world though. I believe there is a torrent that has the entire SNES collection.
By the way, if your Eris breaks on you, tell Verizon that you will switch to Sprint if they send you another 1. They will send you a Droid 2, but you have to buy the battery, the back, and the charger. But the 3 of them only cost 61, so it well worth it.

Vendetta Online sideload apk

I noticed vendetta online has terrible reviews in tegra zone. If anyone else noticed and turned there heads, its only because its not available on the market for non tablet devices. For some reason everyone gave it one star without actually knowing this.
Anyway its an amazing game and I thought I'd help out by letting you know they have an official sideload apk for people who want to try it on there phones. It works perfectly fine the text is just a little small but readable.
Here's a link to the site http://www.vendetta-online.com/h/news.html
and if you wanna skip that here's the apk v
Thanks, I'll definitely give it a shot!
Hey cool, I was disappointed to hear it was only on tablets but now i'll definitely try it. luckily our X2's don't have TOO small of a screen as far as phones go. ;p
