Is there any 23041 ROM for touch pro yet? i heard there are a lot of changes in this build of ROM... I saw ppl with 23041 On their Touch Pro too... But No 1 uploaded any of it yet.

So far so good... Just finishing my usual setup after flashing a ROM and first impressions are very good. Will be doing more testing as the day goes by. I recommend thus far..

hello do you face any problems trying to copy your contacts over? And i noticed the spacebar is replaced with a "_" thats weird....
EDITED: CONTACTS ARE AUTO COPIED OVER

Here's a test release, 23041. It's buggy but has m3d2.1 and the tachi dialer, by the guy who makes TCP. Stress that it's a test.
The ROM from the other site is pretty good. after changing the settings, its perfect, fast and smooth, but i seem to be having a problem with Wif... like every 1min it disconnects, but i like it that way, it saves power

I am still working on grouping the icons like natf and nrg has thier roms
it is a work in progress still so bear with me on the messy startmenu for it will be fixed in future releases

i dont have this issue on my device with this rom i made
Anyone have trouble getting GPS to work? Can't seem to get Google Maps to find any satellites. I have enabled A-GPS

This is a problem that plagues every WM6 ROM so far. For instance, receiving new emails *always* defaults to 'flash LED for 5 minutes' after a soft reset.
Even modifying the registry works for a while, but something changes it back again.
Could someone please figure this out?

I did a quick test on my Prophet.
No matter how I change the setting in Sounds and Notifications, it will still "remember" the modified value on my machine after soft-reset.
No problem on my device.

I always reset holding the power button and never with the stylus hole.
If I set 'receive new email' to a sound, the setting will stick for some time even after a reset, but after a day or 2 or even 3, the setting will always return to 'flash light for 5 minutes'. Try it with the 'receive email notification' yourself!

just check my machine again, it still keeps my yesterday change, and i will keep my eye on it.
BTW, have you tried the latest PDAViet ROM? Probably it has solved this issue already.

I have the same Problem... After a few days there is no notification for new SMS. Then I can change the options withaut any effect. Only solution is a Hardreset.

Only Operas betas (as in, the ones direct from Opera.com/mobile) disable sound, and it may be only on some devices.
You should be able to use the Opera builds extracted from Diamond/Raphael ROMs with no issues.

I think the latest build of the beta may have fixed it...
I worked it out as when I installed Opera it broke the sounds, and then, looking at Operas site I noticed there were some bug reports involving sound issues...
Uninstall, and then reset the sounds/notifications to how you want, and it should work.
Im using opera mini 4.1 and can report no problems at all btw opera mini is gr8, i love the app!!! so smooth!!

Out of curiousity l3v5y, why do you not like java? use too much ram? or you just prefer to have a clean device?
It seems since 3.1.6 my keyboard has been acting up.
`Registering double-presses,
`not registering function or shift on about half of the keypresses [seems the timer to hit fcn > key is lower]
I reverted back to 3.1.5 and the problem vanished.
I've been having the same problems with 3.1.6 and 3.2 and couldn't for the life of me figure it out. Wasn't sure if it was a conflict with something I'm running or not like MagiKBLite, but even after deactivating that have the same problems...
i found this as well, i thought it was due to getting pizza grease and other junk in the keyboard and making the buttons stick. its so bad its to the point that i had to start using spb fullscreen keyboard. i am glad to see that the problem is with the software rather than the hardware. not to worry, DCD is the fu**ing man!!! im sure he will have a fix for this in the next version
All three of you need to troubleshoot this again. I haven't seen any issue on 3.1.6 or 3.2. Do this, install the pre-made ROM, your carrier file ONLY, and then see what happens..... Do this for both 3.1.6 and 3.2.... My bets are that something you included or installed is causing the issue, OR you three have a hardware issue....

Did you have the issue with your previous build?
I had issues with 3.1.6 and 3.2.0 and have been experimenting. Next thing I want to try is to find the keyboard driver in an older ROM and try plugging that into the newer one, same thing I did to get my outlook working with exchange.

My previous was 3.0.4 and I did not have this issue with that build.
this started for me before I even started to flash my phone. Has slowly gotten worse. I found a thread somewhere around here or ppcg that had a small cab file that fixed things right up.

Yep, that did the trick for me too. I had to get that keyboard fix the other day, since my T, E, I, and Fn keys would either register double/triple hits or just work whenever they wanted to. If anyone is also having an issue with some programs only registering all keyboard key hits as symbols rather than letters, this will fix that too.

I had the same issue - I used the kitchen to build my rom - I generally do my "settings" - (screen brightness, owner info, etc) before I add ANY .cabs and noticed this issue. What was funny, however, was after a soft reset (after installing one of my programs) it went away, so I never really gave it another thought.

Thanks for the cab. I noticed it with whatever version I had before DCD3.2.0 (I want to say 3.0.4 but I could be wrong). I was starting to wonder if it was somehow related to the radio 3.39.10.

You need to put your ringtones on SDcard (/sdcard/ringtones), because I deleted them from system, for clean up, and make it faster, if you want default android ringtones say me, and I will give it to you.

im giving it a go, been using owain's and slade's roms (and the other dev's work) for a while now. Apologies for not posting feedback, I end up browsing these forums late at night on a school night hunting for updates aha, and i'm too tired to test after installing until the next day.
Anyway, I notice there's the MIUI camera still in there next to the SE camera app. This can be removed by deleting the camera.apk in /system/app/.. which im sure you know as you've done all the rest ^^ just pointing out incase you didn't notice.
Something i've noticed recently though with roms is that although they're listed as practically stable/fast. Quite a lot of the time i get freezes/crash and then reboot. ¬¬ THOUGH, that's probably because i haven't cleanly installed these roms in a while (just been installing custom zip.. rather than the whole procedure of restore with sepc, rooting, getting xrecovery etc.
Thanks though, it's certainly more feels a bit quicker and it's serving as my replacement for now

Well, that's not a MIUI camera, it's android stock, that actually it's pretty good , but guys, we have 2 cameras and 2 galleries, what do you suggest, let it with 2 cameras and galleries, or deleting SE one, that cant record video?

Yeah, everything have nice things, but I just cant live with all that apps, 5 for music, 5 for gallery , So i choose what i think is better, and i think HC music player, it's kinda better on interface

Video recording works fine for me in the se camera app :/. Personally, I'm not a fan of clutter, so I've removed the android camera app etc. Which I don't use with root explorer. It's not hard to do for people with root explorer, so there's probably not too much need to re-cook? the rom with a couple of apps less. I do love the music player . As for crash and reboots, i tried 600mhz, but then it gets quite laggy in animations etc. and still crashes.

Thanks for answering. But there is a way, semc debrand doesn't have that bug, but i can't seem to find the file that makes keyboard work completely, till now it's the only rom with that thing fixed.

PS: Windows phone series ROM almost finished, only bug until now is radio... Just asked all devs for permissions and will be uploading soon. If you're still willing to test, I'll PM you the link.

Those files can only be in the folders app/framework/permissions/init'd but there are so many fu..... files in those folders of that rom that is difficult to discover something xD, yap we gotta keep trying .
Ps: How come radio has bug? if you use a base without a radio bug then the radio should work fine, only case i see is if the problem is the radio.apk itself and that way you just have to change the radio.apk for another one and of course ask permission to use that radio.apk app xD, but yes if you fix that and you think the rom is giving better battery life and stuff like that then i wanna try it . Other good news is that Vince will be updating his rom in a 5 days time , i hope that the keyboard scrolling will be fixed in this version, and if it is then we could see if we find the special files we are looking for and see what do we have to change or edit .
I has been testing roms since the froyo builds, and haven't see yet any rom, with that keyboard that doesn't have that bug.
the only thing is to avoid fast scrolling to the end of the list.

Yes it's true that all roms have that bug, but there is only one xception: semc debrand rom, that rom doesn't have the scrolling bug, but unfortunately the rest of the rom is still buggy to use, so that's why i'm trying to find that rom's file or folder that can fix that bug.

Using it for a couple of days and it's working great. Only bug is no Vibration. But everything else is working fine. And the finger print reader is much faster.
Got some Japanese in the UI, but it's fine really.

idk if twrp works with this rom, but dfe is not optional. contacts sync with google don't work in this room, but u can go to google contacts page in browser, and export ur contacts in iOS format

dirty flash (i think) it's not possible. reason? u have to reinstall the firmware (incluided in the rom) and the kernel is different i think
Amazing thing to do, works very well... I just cannot use a rom without my native language and google play services. It's a very cool novelty thing maybe xiaomi.eu guys might pick it up but as of right now it's unusable for me.

dev is not a fluent english speaker, i think he's chinese (maybe i'm wrong), but the work to add a new language is too difficult (xiaomi.eu do this and work with +100 people for multilingual rom).

Actually you can sync all the contact just download Google Contacts Sync apk from Apkmirror and reboot, for me that did the trick.

Yes he is chinese, and yes, probably he will not add new languages, only if he can find some devs that are willing to help out.
