Hi,
I got a weird thing happening. Every now and then the letters on the phone dialpad are switching by itself to Greek from the original English locale. There doesn't seem to be any particular pattern when it happens.
I am on version 2.2 of the MoDaCo core rom.
Anyone seeing the same thing happening and has any ideas?

i had the same all the time it change to greek lang.
i resolve that by uninstal the custom locale app.

I bought in Poland Star Trek (In Poland we have no service this smartphones)
It was working fine 3 months.
Yesterday i do Hard Reset after instaling bad aplication.
After hard Reset Phone restarted In Russian language
I go inside menu i changed into Polish language and Polish regional settings
After it all communications and Icons was in Polish language.
and all was ok .................... without when i want put new name or put new sms my keybord working with only Russian letters
I try next Hard Reset and after it put English language and English regional settings it was the same
Please Help in Poland nobody help me with these problem
I cannot write sms and other information in Polish language

Anyway, you can install european rom, may be it have polish language...

My phone, which I bought in Czech (no black or grey sell) has also Russian by default. Which pretty sucks. I installed the EU version, but it keeps changing after the hard reset. The first time I did hard reset, I though I'll send the phone to service, as I couldn't get to the menu LOL It just makes me wonder, why even phones from expansys have such "problem"...

Hi!
I`ve got new Hero(official in Latvia), but it has some limitation to Poland/Romanian language. I wont to use it with EN interface including deal pad and English/Russian keyboard.
I was trying to set custom Local to RU, but is changing Interface to Russian. Is there any solution for setting interface and keyboard to different languages ?
PS may be there is some kind of en_RU locale ?

Same problem here. The only way to make TouchInput to support Russian is to switch to Russian locale which has Russian UI. I've seen many posts, were people asking how they can have bilingual keyboard, while keeping UI in English.
en_RU locale would be ideal, but MoreLocale doesn't show it.
Also, I've seen TouchInput apk (HTC_IME) available to download, but it seems to be English only.
If anybody has a solution to this - please help!

My min pro update by SEUS yesterday,Build number is 2.1.1.A.0.6.I'm so hapy for update but I fond some problems suddently.
First,my pro's don't have input of chinese,only the one that ABC type. I'm Chinese,don't have Chinese input I can't sent messages to my friends around.Where can I find the APK of Chinese input?
Second,the bluetooth didn't work!!!I feel sad for that...I can open the Bluetooth,can find other phone,but couldn't sent documents by it.What should I do?
I'm very glad even thought you can not help me but read the thread carefully,because my English is very poor!!!Thank you. And I should write the same mean by Chinese:

Hey,
OK so first things first download the attached htc_IME.apk and install that into /system/app folder. hopefully you should then be able to get chinese input. If not then im sorry i can't help, hopefully someone else here can.
Now for the bluetooth problem, download systemapp remover and uninstall the original bluetooth.apk, then go to the market and download the bluetooth file transfer .apk by MEDEVIL SOFTWARE and install that, it doesnt need to be installed into /system/app, it should work them same in /data/app.
I've attached both bluetoothfiletransfer.apk and htc_IME.apk

I've done it what your said,but it didn't work. HTCIme just have ABCinput.The bluetooth I'll try it when I'm free.

Ok yeah sorry the htc_IME didn't, i'll have a look around and let you know if i find anything. But with the bluetooth that should work as you problem has happened to me before and that fixed it for me so goodluck.

Yes this did work for me. Had to get one of my mates to check it for me. I should have asked him if there were different versions of the chinese language there but i didnt think about it. But in any case it should be all good.

Hi,
I just changed my phone to Xperia Neo V recently and just did the patch to Android 4.0.4.
After that, I installed Inotia 3, and found that the text display is showing an error with the texts. It was displaying a mix of Chinese and English and square boxes, instead of displaying just English. Even after reinstalling the game, the same problem persisted. Changing the language to Chinese will result in the same line of Chinese and boxes appearing while the English text to translate normally.
The text displayed fine in my Xperia X10.
Is there any way for me to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help!

I have my language set to English but when I bring up S-voice it show it to me in French. I tried changing the language to french, then back to english but it still shows french. Can some one help? What do I need to do? Factory default maybe? I love the phone but this is crazy. Any help would be great!!!! Thanks.

I figured it out. If you go into manage apps and scroll down to s-voice, you can clear the data. This will allow S-voice to default to your appropriate language. I bought this phone from some international whole sale company. It must have been used or at least set to French language and then defaulted back. Some how the S-Voice was stuck on French language. Hope this helps someone else out.

You certainly helped me buddy. Thanks. I just got S3 after no smart phones for over a year. I love this thing, but really was frustrated with French instruction for S-Voice.
