i've just bought an htc rose and it is locked,well,wen i inserted my sim card it asks me to enter a code,i dnt have a code,so i immediatly knew i had to have it unlocked first,so isthere any free way to do this operation t my rose,

did u bought it second handed?apparently the previous owner locked it and forgot about it...ask him he would know the password.

well i bought it second hand,so it is used,but i dnt think its ex-owner locked it but,coz it is orange,and it has to be unlocked to be free for all sim cards,wen i insert my sim card the network icon shows with a red barre,so wat i need now is a free unloc,ing software,coz i dnt have a bank card,and im not sure there r s a shope who can do that with a box pfff
if it is locked on orange all you can do is find a way to unlock it using some kind of software.I don't think u can find any free software keep on searching or find someone who could pay for you using his credit card.

I'm in Poland and I bought a pay as you go card which works fine in my unloced nokia but after i've inserted it to my hd2 i got the simlock warning and the msg asking for unlocking password. I dont know why i got this coz i've used t-mobile uk and 02 cards before and it never showed me this. And i got miri rom elegancia put on it with hard spl. Is there a quick fix to remove that sim lock? please help

there is no quick fix for this... ur HD2 requires an unlock code which u can buy over ebay... u can read around various posts here to get some leads.. this can be a painless process and shld be over in a matter of hours..

call your carrier. google search. search xda, as many threads about this have been started with people giving their opinions. good luck.
Call your carrier and give them your IMEI they will fill request and send you the unlock code via email. Then open your default file manager and run \windows\simlock.exe

HELLO ALL....this is my firs message...hope my english is not that bad.I have a dell streak 5 with a Big problem...It has a no service with all the sim cards and all the networks on my country...does not acces the sim at all..like it does not exists.I live in Romania so non of my carriers work....so i will give u guys some details :
-the tablet/phone has android 2.3.3 baseband: GAUSB1A1406214-US ,kernel : 2.6.35.7-perf ,it has the olleh rom .I just get this tablet/phone this way...i didnt know it will not see my SIM.I ve tried to restore factorry seting and i could but the same problem NO SIGNAL...is there any option for me ? like getting to 2.2 ...and then mabe it will be ok ? or can it be the problem with 8 pin connector on sim card...i ve so that answer at some guy...in my country all sim cards has 6 pin conection sistem...so i beg u guys help me...any iddea that will be realistic i will enbrace it...hope soon some one will help me or make me understand what is the tablet/phone problem...because a tablet without 3g ...its 0...
I don't know alot about locked vs unlocked phones, but that may be one possibility. I know my Dell Streak is locked to AT&T's network and will only work with an AT&T sim card. Unlocking a phone is entirely separate from flashing a custom rom though. If this is in fact your problem, you'll either have to get the unlock code from the provider it is locked to, which may or may not be possible since you aren't their customer, or pay for a code through some unlocking service provider. I don't know of any off hand, maybe someone with more knowledge in this area will chime in.

i cant do it with a unlock code because after i put a sim in it the tablet is working dont ask for unlock code ...but it does not see the sim card and it doesent ask for a unlock code...so i wish some1 can save me and send me on the right track...
I did a search for unlocking the Dell streak and found one that did it in fastboot mode. Don't know if it would work or not. You can download their program and run it in demo mode to test if it would work, but they want $29 for an unlock code.

your device locked on network !!! what should i do ?? ???
root options can solve this like note 3 ?

Hi omar, i just buy the samsung alpha at low yat in kuala lumpur.. but in unlockunit they ask me for the network at origin? I dont know.. at the store when they sold me the phone they put a sim card and say to me that making a 5minuts call it will be unlocked..
what network did you use?

hello dear sorry for later reply , u should use your same sim that u already purchaed the phone ( example : malaysia) otherwise if u didnt ur phone in same region then u traveled to other country then ur only way is to purchase the code for website above , any further help please feel free to send me email [email protected]
