if you need the smartphone version (without touchsreen devices, leave a message)
- the left softkey starts GCzII
- open Photo Folder
- geo tag photos
- send geo tagged photos by email
- view it on google maps on device
- Settings Camera folder (needed for geo tagging photos)
- the geo tagged photos are packed in a KMZ File which all included (photos and coordinates) and you can view them directly on the pc in google earth
you must send only ONE File
- you can generate the KMZ files by sending them via email, than you can cancel sending and than you can pic up the KMZ file in the GPS_log folder of GCzII, transfer them via activesync to the PC

You know what I think would be great? If your program could grab the "mytopo.com" maps and insert them in place of the GCzII static maps. Shouldn't be that hard as (I belive) mytopo.com uses the google api, so should be a drop in replacement type of thing.
That would be great!! Other than that, GCzII is great (exept for no offline mode, but your software won't be able to fix that).

Is there any chance to get Openstreetmap instead of Google maps ?
That would be very useful for cache tours in forest areas ...

after succesful installation i run the program and it asks me some storage place. nothing can be done there! after several tries program gives me some errors and shuts down
please helme to run this program

I installed and ran it this morning with no problems. The storage question pertains to the location of GCzII, which in my case on my Omnia 1910 phone, was "storage card\program files\GCzII. If the location displayed on your PPC or phone is correct, just select it and it will appear in the box below. Then select OK or continue. (I can't remember which is there), and then GCzII-Tools will open.

where is your GCzII installed? (normaly: \program files\gczii or \storage card\program files\gczii)
where is your GCzii Download Data Folder?
to find out that: please check in GCzII: Menu -> Options -> Download Settings

when i start the program on the screen there is writte: select the Gczii geocache DB:
select from the list or input
NOTHING in the list and please tell me whet to input there?
i tried everything u said above =noting happened, same error !

Im getting nowhere with this program. I thought Id put in the correct path. I get this error message, and when I press quit the program closes. When I reopen the program Im still getting this message. Ive uninstalled and re-installed and still get the error message.

OK thnaky ou, thats nice. can you say me please the location of your GCzII installation?
the first dialog wants this, so that GCzII-Tools know the location of the GeoCache Database used by GCzII

so that i can see what the settings for GCzII-Tools are

The contents of my xml file is in the next post.
Here's a bit of history that may help:
I installed gczii and had a quick play with it. I haven't used it fully and haven't even done a search for any caches. I briefly looked at the GPS direction thing, but that's it.
I then installed GCzII-Tools to my storage card. I ran it, and it asked for some information that I didn't know the answer to. I guess I just accepted whatever default it gave.
From that point on, I get the DirectoryNotFoundException error.
I think GCzII-Tools assumes that certain directories within GCz exist, but I suspect those directories only get created after you've used GCz properly (like, you hunt for a cache or enter details about finding one, or keep a diary or log or something). If you havent done any of that yet, the directory doesn't get created.
That's just what I suspect, anyway!
I can confirm that \storage card\programfiles\gczii exists, and has the following directories:
Attributes
Cache_DB
HTTP_Log
Skin
Smiley
Trackable_DB
FieldNotes.txt
GzII.exe
gsgetfile.dll
gsgetfile_STD.dll
Within the Cache_DB directory, there are lots of subdirectories of caches (GC109TV, GC10GBZ, etc.)
Within the HTTP_Log directory, there are a set of files like
00_Geocoding.xml
01_LoginAuth.html etc.
Hope that helps. Running WM6.5 with Manila 2.5.

I have GCzII installed in \storage card\program files\gczii
The GCzii download data folder field within GCzII is blank.
What value should be here?

workaraound:
please do the following (in next version is that problem fixed but now
goto GCzII and go into a GC-list (search nearby for example)
than add one ore more GC's to favorites or save to a cachelist
than you must have one more folder under GCzII: "Cache_List"
than try again start GCzII-Tools
please give me a feedback
for all how have an empty or wrong GCDBMainFolder field in settings.xml
please delete settings.xml and try again (also with doing workaraund before)
