There is no exact ROM, you will have to look in the ROM development thread. This is a good example of 6.5.x ROM

I can't install latest radio rom RUU Nike Radio 1.71.09.01K "Highly Recommended" on my HTC. I did managed to install win 6.5.2 but I can't install that Radio rom. It' shows that the progles is complete and then all you can see is a bricked screen showing "error in flash or something...". I had to flash the win 6.5.2 again and it works but how can I install RADIO ROM???

For upgrade to 1.71 radio you have to downgrade to 1.58 radio first and then 1.71

I've just installed windows mobile 6.5 on my htc touch dual it works nicely but here are a few problems I can't use my qwerty keyboard properly and when I run windows media player it reboots automacly and I Cant remove the opera mini since it doesn't folow up links from other apps

I have upgrade my charmer in Charmer WM 6.1 by ChrBeck and Cyberdel German and Czech Editon and I have forget to downgrade in wm 5 and now is stuck when is showing the screen with ipl 2.06, spl 2.06.0000, gsm 02.19.21, os 6.1.0.0.

This means you need to use the stock drivers
These, you simply instal in the device manager (update driver).

You mean to downgrade not to decrease So, if it is a "virgin" phone you first have to unlock it than look for a WM 5.0 OEM firmware, there are a lot of links in one topic, just search for it.
Is there any WM 5.0 for Nike?

@vcdwelt yes, there is a WM5 version for Nike 100, mine comes with this (from Orange)
@ciawarhater if the radio reception quality is your problem, you don't have to install another OS, most of the cooked versions doesn't contain a RADIO firmware, so you have to look only for another RADIO and keep the existing OS. From what I read version 1.65.28.25 is the best original RADIO for Nike (good reception and the best power consumption). You can get this RADIO if you flash an OEM WM6 which comes with this RADIO built in. Look for this version RUU_Nike_HTC_WWE_2.09.405.1_Radio_NikeMR_1.65.28.25_signed_Ship.exe. You can also try other RADIOs to see which one is the best for your needs.

You said that your phone is already "prepared", I mean it is not virgin. Is it HardSPL? If it is you can write any other ROM, cooked or OEM. If it is not, search for the topic how to unlock your phone then you can start playing with ROMs. DO NOT ATTEND TO FLASH ANOTHER ROM WITHOUT UNLOCKING YOU PHONE! Good luck! Only the first time is difficult, second time is always better!

One last question before the installation

One friend had installed an old version of manila 2D and everything in his Nike worked very slowly, especially the cube. If I install the newest version (from your link), my nike will work slowly or normally?
I haven't tried it so I can't reply about it
I use my cooked ROM because it is really really fast!!!
It seems better than HTC one!
You can try the cab and if you do n't like make a hardreset, or switch to a cooked ROM
I confirm what salvy said : all cooked ROM here are faster than official ones (the first and the update...). And almost all have M2D built in (at least WM 6.1 ones...).
Why don't you flash an hardSPL and give a try to choose one ? If you really need official HTC ROM, you'll reflash it, flash stock SPL et voilà !

Have you even looked at the rest of the threads here? There are quite a few WM6.5 roms floating around and a lot of them are english.

Thanks for your reply..yes. I've been reading these forums for around 2-3 years now so I know the roms are out there of course, but that wasn't my question. I have seen some horror stories too of some people upgrading and having the wrong radio version installed and ending up with big problems. My Touch Dual is quite old now with an older radio version than most I see here. So, of course I can download a WM6.5 in english, but my question is firstly, can I upgrade the radio version (without my phone being rendered useless !)because it seems that most 6.5 versions require a radio of at least 1.65 , and then a suitable version of WM6.5 after that. Just need a yes or no answer really...

an official 6.5 rom for the nike is not available! the last available official htc rom for the nike is a 6.1, but i think htc dont release a official 6.5 rom .

upgrade 1st to latest version of 6.1 available from HTC ( official version that match you CID/language).
this will upgrade your radio so you don't have to upgrade radio, also you will have a original rom that your original spl will accept if you mess up ( forget to HardSPL ).
run SoftSPL and flash HardSPL 1.22
flash a WM6.5 rom
you could brick your phone but i think the dangerous part is flashing HardSPL.
while original SPL is there u can flash original rom (WM6.1) and after anything by starting into bootloader tricolor screen (Pwr+Camera after reset).

2) Install Radio ROM 2.15.50.04
3) Install MAGLDR
4) Install WP7 ROM of your choice
