You take off the back cover, thread the sting through the hold near the bottom and hook it round the little lug just below the battery and then put the battery cover back on. Simple. RTFM.

Go the HTC official case, PC C300 I think. I would rate that a thumbs down for the hero. Its too much like my old kaiser case and far too bulky. Don't bother, wait for something sleeker.

What exactly are these things, just thin sheets of plastic? Are they visible, don't they affect touch usage?

I feel content with getting a 2300mAh battery.
when i bought my first g1 used it came with one...looked my my phone turned into a G100 with it on. but lasted over 24 hours with wi fi, bluetooth, brightness at max, and everything else on....but i had to take it out bc my handicap brother wanted his headgear back...
I guess it would be really cool for camping and trips that carrying it in your hand all day isn't a problem.

I have one of the d30 cases and I absolutely hate it. Makes the phone so much more bulky and the power button has zero feed back that it was pressed other than looking at the screen to see if its on. And you have to press it pretty good to get it to come on. I even gave it a week and a half to see if it got better or I got used to it.

All of these problems are 100% ACCURATE!
Not to forget, along the sides, the screen sticks out farther than the case wraps leaving about 1mil exposed on each side. I HATE how heavy it is and the power button is AWFUL. :banghead:

So you spent like $150 on chargers? No way could I spend that kind of money on a few phone chargers.
It was $130 with the discount. I figure it'd be worth the convenience factor since I was starting to get annoyed by having to open and close the usb cover all the time when I just want to use it for 5-10 minutes. Hopefully it'll keep the cover from breaking off too. Assuming Qi doesn't lose market share to that other one that is coming out, I will probably still be able to use them for the next 3-4 years at the least. If not, I can always gift it to people I guess.
i just ordered one too.. too bad to get my normal business discount i have to pay for it then when it arrives call CS and have the amount credited back to me.. kinda a pain but oh well even at $59.99 they are a good deal, and free 2 day ground shipping..

i got one in today that i ordered and it wont stay charging. the connected to wireless charger will pop up and it will charge for a few seconds then it will say disconnected from wireless charger. i tried it inside the pillow, withouth the pillow with the same results. the only thing i didnt do was remove my cruzerlite case since it charges fine with it on when i use my lg wireless charger.
did i happen to just get a bad one, or are other people having problems with it charging though a case.

I've got a cruzerlite on mine, and I use the Nokia charger (no pillow) and it works great.

Mine got in today and I'm impressed with how fast it charged it from about 40% to full charge in less than 3 hours. That's without a case though, the Otterbox should be here in a day or two, if it can stay sort of close to this, I'll be an official HTC fanboy (at least until Samsung gets their act together again )

Amazon has the plate in stock for $49.99 and it's Prime eligible, but I wanted to see if there was any advantage to the pillow before pulling the trigger on this.
They are the same charger. If you pull out the charger in the pillow, it's just the plate.

The charge the same, the only difference is that you can have a giant ugly red pillow if you want for $10 extra, and then you get to look back in 5 years and laugh about how dumb they were.
I still only buy basketball shoes with pumps in them though.....

I honestly hate the design (and price) of the Quick Circle, but love Qi charging. Any chance we'll have any other (cheaper) alternatives, or will the best option be to buy the QC case and cut off the cover panel if you dislike it?
I've bought the quick circle case and plan to take out the Qi charging (&NFC) out of the quick circle case and stick inside the stock cover in place of the NFC only sticker.
Are they just stickers? Might do the same myself...

Well I ripped the coil and wireless charging 4 node things from the quick circle case and put them in my 400k and now I have wireless charging! Pretty painless and I am a bit of a bull in the China shop but all good and working.
The backing already is on ebay. The ones that have the QI charging have "NFC" in the item's title. Just make sure not to get F400 version which ha the pins lined up differently. Also, it seeems that the Verizon versions have a slightly different coloring so you'll have to take it out of the circle case for those.
Yes but these backs are slightly thicker than the normal backs. And have faux leather back. Depends what you like.

well if you buy the AT&T LG G3 you get half off accessories. including the g watch and the quick circle. I will be getting both and i will be cannibalizing the quick circle case...that is if there are no other options. I actually like the other lg case options...to bad no USA date

I was going to do the same, but someone pointed out to me that the ATT Quick Circle is POWERMAT, not QI. So it will only work with Duracell Powermat chargers. Sigh. The search continues.

I've been trying to find a Euro case for a week now. Nothing available yet. I'm willing to bet we'll see a quickcircle case for another carrier with QI before I find a European back.
There is this that looks decent ( Ebay Back ) but I'm waiting to find a cheaper one, or for them to offer it in black so I don't have to cannibalize.

Wow, they jacked the price up. I guess they saw an opportunity with all the G3's shipping now. I paid $40 for mine but I had a $38 eBay bucks credit so I am out of pocket $2. I don't think I could have even paid the $40 actually. Now I just have to not screw this up when I pull the coil.
