I have strange problem using original htc charger clm10D 050
Some times , all running fine
But the let blink fast (onetime) green and (one or two times) orange
I dont know what happend, the charger is new , the diamond 2 too, now i using telstra rom 6.5 , but with htc oficial rom 6.1 , have the same problem
I read the original manual, but no have this code of led blink
Anybody what happen with my Htc D2?

Hey,
I'm just a fan no knowlegde at all on programming but on the support page of HTC.com there are fixes for what the led does in several situations, maybe it is a known bug.

i have pdaviet 4.0.0.0.3a on my o2 neo n the weird thing is with wm6 it doesnt charge with the same charger i used to use when my o2 was using wm5?! can anyone please explain me this problem? i plug in the charger, the orange led lights up showing that it is charging, even the battery status icon changes to charging mode, but there is no charging happening or well battery status shows that the battery is dieing more than charging.. why? what to do? please please help.. do i need something else or what?

1. Did you follow the ROM flashing procedure Step 1 and Step 2 faithfully?
2. Is this charger the original charger came with the phone?
Try that one first and see. You will find not all chargers alike, especially where there are USB 1.0 and 2.0 specifications.
Or, you have taken some shorcuts to install your 4.0.0.0.3.
yesss i have.. not once but several times.. in the attempt to get my charger workingg.. but its not.. i dunno what to do.. pls help..
downgrade to wm5 and test the charger,it is simple
I have the same problem (i use PDAVIET 4.0.0.4)
I has tried with an adaptator and with connection pda->pc, but not work!

seemed to help mine with the charging issue. On the other hand, maybe it wasn't that. Your mileage may vary.
There seems to be a problem with charging in WM6 with others than the original wall-charger.
When i charge at a different PC or generic USB-charger setting the device off (pressing power-button for severeal seconds) will allow charging in off-mode.
my charger used to work with wm5 properly.. with wm6 on my device, i have to rely on my laptop to charge my phone and that can be a pain in the butt sometimes.. one weird thing i noticed is if i want my wall charger to work, i first plug my o2 into laptop for few mins and then plug my wall charger into my o2 n it starts charging.. but what if i go somewhere where i dont have laptop access.. then what?! the wall charger was an idea that did not require me to rely on the laptop but in my case there is no function of wall charger without laptop..
as for the recommendations, i will try xda-battfix thingg.. thank you very very very much for all your support..

I have same problem with the latest PDAVIET 4.0.0.0.5 .... I tried xda-batfix but did not solve the problem.... any solution?

i was stuck up like this too and was't able to charge even going back to wm5 nvid rom so i found this solution:
step 1 .) format with wm5 nvid rom on wm5towm6 upgrade page
step 2.) download http://rapidshare.com/files/47536071/PV_4.0.0.0.5b_Cross.zip ,or refer to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=321832 topic > ROM WM6 for Prophet
PDAViet 4.0.0.0.5b Cross (simple upgrade)
step 3.) stick to this rom for sometime like me untill i would find something new else continue experimenting and help me too but i think for now this is perfect for me i dont want cube but i have cross with touch flo and stable battery charging (its enough for me.)

I can not believe this topic is up again !!try Crystal or Touch v7 or even transformer 1.1 they don't have any problem with charger! because they use the right drivers.

U are wrong I have same problem with transformer 1.1 and I wrote it in that topic but nobody answered to me, and the problem persists. I am seriously thinking of coming back to WM5.
there is anyone who cean help me . my htc tytn after rom update.
dusent turn on .
no get in to bootloader.
only red led . when i connect my charger.

Charge your battery firs then try to do hard reset let see what happens
Cus even u didn’t flashed successfully u should have Bootloader

still there is no boot loader .
when i connect the device to the chrger there is a red loed power on.
and when i pull in my battery in the tytn the red led is turned off.
i was thinking it's was the battery so i buy a new one .the same issue with the new 1.
mybe the bootloader is gone?
this is very streange new tytn ? mybe its dead?

there is no sighn of bootloader in my htc tytn
either you need to replace the battery, or zap the one you have to get it to charge.
if the red light is coming on, the device isn't dead.
isn't it streange? i connect the charger to my tytn and there is a red led light comming on. o.k so far so good. now when i put in the battery the red led is gone?

Try to get another battery. cus the device cant recognize your battery its totaly empty. see what happnet
I have flashed the latest HTC update with Windows mobile 6.1 onto my T-mobile MDA touch plus. But I have a problem and I don't know if this is about the firmware, the phone or the battery.
I bought this phone recently (secondhand) and actually flashed this update directly, so I don't have experience with the phone how it came.
Right now, the battery doesn't last for a day without actually using it (even without a simcard inserted). It is clean of software, only flashed the firmware and that's all.
After a day, when battery is empty, the device won't turn on with the charger connected. Even when I keep the charger connected for a whole day. Then I try some things like unplugging the charger, remove/insert the battery, press reset button, connect/disconnect usb and it eventually turns on (I don't know what the real trick is). Battery is empty then, so it didn't charge at all...
Current firmware is Nike_HTC_NLD_2.09.404.1 with its default radio (1.65.28.25). Camera works.
Does this have to do with the software, hardware or do I have a 'almost-dead' battery?
I also like to try to flash the stock firmware, but it won't flash when I have run the sspl 1.16.jump executable on my mda. Or can I just flash the phone with the new stock 1.22 spl ?(fixed)
you need hardspl first ... try again!
I did try that preciously, but the problem was that the 1.16.jump executable booted up the bootflash menu without showing usb. But I did a second try now, and it worked
I am now running the default t-mobile firmware (but I don't get a t-mobile bootscreen.. so it's not a real shipped rom I think).
Battery is 95% now, let's see how long it takes to get empty again...
Battery is empty now, so this had nothing to do with the firmware.
I try to charge the mda with a different charger, because the one that I had was an aftermarket type.
I have another question. When I charge the phone, should the orange light in the speaker turn on? It stays off here...

That doesn't happen.. It charges, but it doesn't show any light

The last thing I want to try is flashing another or original radio. I have read that battery drain can be the result of having the wrong radio version. I hope this is the case.
My device is a niki200 and it is currently running Nike_HTC_NLD_2.09.404.1 with its default radio (1.65.28.25).
I'm unsure if a niki200 device needs a different radio than niki100's. Therefore I like to get a original T-Mobile MDA Touch Plus rom (Dutch/NLD) or a radio that is 100% compatible with the phone. Which radio do I need? And where can I get an original T-Mobile rom, or do I have to request it?
I hope the problem is in the radio, otherwise the hardware itself is faulty
Problem is fixed. It was a hardware issue. The keyboard lights and gsm/charge status leds didn't work at all. Only when I moved the display housing a little bit, I sometimes got these lights working. I have disassembled the phone, reconnected everything.. and it all works fine again . Battery is 95% after 16 hours standby! I'm happy again!
all nike can use the same radios ... only japan nikes use different radios!
I want to say thanks to tuti fruiti, I had the same problem with my touch dual, followed instructions as give, and everything is fine now.

pls. i have one problem.
Sometimes my device dont charge on usb cable. Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Sometimes it start OK (orange led is on) but after time (e.g. - 25% battery) it stops and led diode start blink (green, orange, green, orange...)
Sometimes it charge ok till battery is full.
Pls. i tried it search here and with google, but i was not succsesfull.
what i tried:
- hard reset
- many of roms
and of course I have set, charging when is usb plugged.
Any suggestions?

that happened to me when i was using a fake replacement battery. if you have one too, it's most certainly the issue. if not, try using a friend's HD2 to charge it and see if the same thing happens.
also, try upgrading your radio
yes i have replacement battery - not original. Yesterday i had this fake and the problems appears and now i have original and the problem has gone.
It seems, thats this is the problem.
I will test it again.

I have a problem with my HTC Desire X bought a few months ago!
For some weeks the phone will no longer charge completely (no green LED), and in addition to being slow to charge, to make it fully charge (green led) i must plug and unplug it several times from the charger.If I do not do this, the LED stays amber and the phone blocks its charging points ranging from 40% to 15%
What may have happened? The phone has never been rooted and it has only been updated with the official update from HTC

Same here. Brand new Desire X can be charged suddenly only up to 40% charged fine for 3 months. Official OTA JB update applied when unboxing. Will try different charger tonight.
try different wire and charger.....had same problem in my old wildfire.....
