Different settings per Wi-Fi network? - Hero, G2 Touch Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

To get to the Wi-Fi settings on my Hero:
From Home Screen:
Menu > Settings > Wireless Controls > Wi-Fi settings
Menu > Advanced
From there, you can set it to use a static IP, however, this seems to persist when I go to a different network.
I feel like I'm missing something here... surely you can set different settings for different networks?

Nope.

[Q] [CM7] Shortcut to Additional Settings (Call Settings)

Hi,
I am using:
Galaxy S2
Cyanogenmod 7.1
I need a shortcut from my homescreen to:
Settings > Call Settings > Additional Settings.
Long-Hold on Homescreen > Custom Shortcut > Pick your Activity > Activities > Settings
gives me a BUNCH of options to set as a shortcut except the one i need =(
Is there some solution to my problem?
Thank You
Not all settings are able to have shortcuts unfortunately, and there's nothing you can do. The same goes for the Samsung ROMs as well.

Um..where are the bluetooth settings?

Seriously, i feel like a complete idiot. Where in the hell are the bluetooth settings after the ICS update? Also, while we're at it the only way i can get into Wi-Fi settings is by dropping down the window shade, going to quick settings and then clicking on the wi-fi icon. Where the hell are the actual settings menus?

wow, totally not intuitive, only can access bluetooth settings once you turn it on. Same for wifi
In the Settings menu (via the icon in the app drawer or Menu softkey > Settings from the home screen) click on the text itself to the left side of the toggle switches.
Edit: yep, you can access WiFi's Advanced options while off, but not Bluetooth's settings. It is rather dumb.

[Q] Shortcut to Settings > Accessibility > Negative colors?

Note: This might be a Samsung specific setting, I dunno.
I'm new to Android, so making a custom shortcut or script to do something like that is currently out of reach. According to a little research, there is a command (requires root) to toggle "Negative colors". I have tested it and it does work (even though it blocks the regular method from changing that setting until the device is restarted).
echo 1 > /sys/class/mdnie/mdnie/negative
What would be the most user-friendly application to make a shortcut to do that?
Or is there some other way to more quickly and easily toggle Settings > Accessibility > Negative colors?
Thanks.

strange icon

On my Galaxy S9 plus unlocked there is a strange icon that is showing up and I cannot find any information. On the screenshot it is a broken line triangle between the battery saver and the Wi-Fi icons. Does anybody know what this icon is?
Data saver.
Settings > Connections > Data (below Bluetooth).
Thanks, but that is not it. When I cut data off the icon stays.
Nooo. Check again.
Settings > Connections > Data usage > Data saver, should be off.

Bingo, that is what it is, thanks. I thought I already tried that setting but I guess I didn't.?

Nova animation speed option not working?

Just a quick question is Nova Launchers animation speed option not working for everyone else? No matter what I pick it is always stays the same (quite a bit slower than the stock launcher)
Working fine here
The option still isn't working for me. Any advice?
You can always change animation speed in developer options: settings > about phone > tap build number 7 times > settings > system > developer options
