Sense UI (manila 2.5) based 23xxx ROM - Touch Pro, Fuze ROM Development

i know there are a few people working on manila 2.5 based ROMs, but their current build is a 23017 based one..
yet over in the CDMA forum, they have a 23060+ based ROM (23403 to be exact) with manila 2.5, and i wondered why it was that no one was working on one for the GSM users?
I would LOVE to have manila 2.5 on my phone but i want it to be a newer version of winmo 6.5 as well..
here is what i'm referring to:

Hi there and welcome to our playground.
In the near future there will be updated win6.5 builds with Manila 2.5 but they now just need a stable build to try to get manila 2.5 working proper.
If you keep changing to every new build out there you would keep having new problems every time that had not been problems in previous builds.
That's my look on things.
PS [Rom] Raphael - WM 6.5 build 23071 Manila 2.5 VGA from muttim86's room is a rom that will probable update to a newer win6.5 build very soon.

I need to make 2 things right I did not make this beta rom that is posted here for beta but Cloudyfa has released it. second Crystal is not just me but V1 was developed by Hma4 and me.
I do not want to take credit for work that is not mine.
now to the final question it's not shure if we me and hma4 will ever release a rom with this build 5.2.1908 Build: 18508.0.7.0 because it has several bugs.
we might go back to the 17913 build and use the XIP from the new build.
Build 17913 is a verry stable and almost bug free version and the XIP of 5.2 is verry fast... so a mix of these two will give a stable lightspeed fast rom.
But I am still trying to get a working build based on 18508 and have sent a beta out for Prophet Touch VIII

What is the best NIKE ROM?

What do you think is the best NIKE rom out there?
I'd say tom codon, the last version is excellent, has a lot of fonctionalities and most important, no bugs. So far the best rom I've ever tried.
u got a link or something? with rom specific? tnx
it's called Niki project rom editor v2.1.3.
also depends on what u are looking for. More features=takes up more memory. Lighter rom=more space available
Mary 3.3 is my fav
I like niki project 2.1.3 too. But I think Tom bought a Diamond and he will not update his Rom anymore...
Mary 6.1 for sure, the Manila 2d it's an awesome improvement for the NIKI !!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=423094
New Mary v.6.1 OS 5.2.20748 (Build 20748.1.4.0)
Manilla 2D Time
Im with the others that Tom's Niki Project 2.1.3 ROM is the best out there at the moment however as previously stated Tom has upgraded to a Diamond so there is no more development going into that ROM.
If you want a ROM that is still being updated then you cant really go wrong with the Various Mary ROMs by hellonasty, pretty lightweight and fast however I found that I needed to install most of the applications that are in Tom's ROM by default anyway so changed back.

Can FB and or FT also put their hands to this? FT's Rom for Vox is particularly and unbelievably stable.
I am going to attempt to dump a stock 6.1 rom into visual kitchen and then try and replace the 6.1 sys with 6.5, hopefully this will work I have not attempted anything this involved to date.
My plan will be to try and port the latest stable 6.5 build, including the 6.5 kernel, however in my brief search the only 6.1 base I can find is an old beta test version that has some known bugs but I am hoping that the newer 6.5 bits and pieces will fix these.
If anyone has a stable, bug free 6.1 base let me know.
Any other help would be welcomed, I will try and update my progress going forward if anyones interested, if not I will keep it to myself, lol
After some help now, I am in the position where I am able to dump a stock 6.0 rom, the plan is to then port the sys and xip from one of the 6.5 builds probably 23037.
The question is how do I know or specify which spl the rom with end up with?

I think that depends on the spl the rom had that you dumped....also, it can depend on the donor xip
Lucky catch

I am hoping that it is from the donor xip, as I am in the process of flashing my first ported 6.5 rom and dont really want it bricked on my first attempt.
Well after another few hours of work I have finally got a base kitchen to work from and have successfully ported a 23001 6.5rom to the x7500.
I will do some more refinements to it now, and then possibly look into a later sys and xip build.
If anyone wants to beta test, let me know, but I must stress that this is a learning process for me and therefore I cannot take any responsibility for bricks etc.

Go to the 3rd post for a combo 6.5 with M2d Mega - works good but don't tweak it too much or it is hard reset time. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=529875
Also go post #2 for my favorite 6.5 ROM 23069 (follow the Mattsm link) - don't mess with 23071 as of today
try this out

I too have been looking for a rom that combines 6.5 and manila2d because I am too lazy to make my own ... Finally found one today and remembered how often I came across this post. This is JustPCTech's rom from ppckitchen.org. Combines 6.5 build 23017 with the Manila2D from the HTC Mega. Its an older build but its not a big deal for me cuz 23017 works better than all the newer builds I have tried so far.
ENJOY!!!
