USB Issue - Touch Pro, Fuze ROM Development

Energy ROM 'Mercury'
Can plug into computer fine, but when plugging into other devices via USB to play music the device detects the phone for a couple of seconds then disconnects. Tried different settings within the Settings > System > USB Settings, still the same issue. It used to work fine until recently.

Are you sure you're using Disk Drive mode? I've never seen it disconnect spontaneously. You may want to try a different cable.

Cable seems to be fine as it works perfect when connecting phone to computer. It connects the screen displays asking what mode, then disappears too quick to select anything as its disconnected.

USB Tethering not working

I'm not sure if this is because of the Siyah 1.5 kernel (as I up the amps coming from USB charge to 900ma) or not. But...
When I plug the phone into my PC for USB tethering and go to the tethering options USB tether is lit up and able to be enabled. As soon as I press it to turn it on, it disconnects the USB and says there is no device.
It's really annoying because I can't tether using USB anymore. I've had this working for a while. Last time it did this I changed the USB charging value back to normal and it worked, but this time it's not. I've even rebooted after making the change.

Weird USB connectivity problem

Hi there,
since yesterday I have really weird USB connectivity problem - my computer doesn't recognise the phone - neither as MTP nor PTP device. I flashed two different customs and one stock rom and still nothing. Also changed my USB cable, turned Debugging on and off. It only charges now and the phone still knows that it's connected to the PC, because it requests removing the cable in order to toggle debugging.
Any ideas?

[Q] Phone disables wlan adapter on Ubuntu

Upon connecting my phone to usb, everything's fine for like 20 seconds but then my usb wireless adapter is completely disabled and I have to reboot my PC to get it back working.
ADB sees my device for that short period of time after connecting it, but it disappears as well afterwards.
Anyone knows what's up?
Thanks in advance.

Marshmallow USB connection issue. Help required

I recently updated my phone (Huawei G7) to android marshmallow 6.0.1. Everything was fine at first but after a few days, I realised I can't connect my USB stick (micro USB flash drive) to my phone. After that, I connected my phone to my PC and I got nothing!
My phone doesn't charge when connected to my PC and my PC doesn't show anything when I connect the USB cable. Huawei software also says no device connected. I tried different cables and the result is the same. I factory reset my phone, now it charges but still nothing shows up ion my computer or phone.
I enabled USB debugging. I used to get a message prompt on the phone to allow connection to my PC. But now there is no such message and there is no USB debugging notification in the notification bar.
I changed USB connection mode to Charging Only, file transport and photo transport. But it doesn't make any difference. It's as if my phone is not connected.
I feel like android is blocking the use of the phones USB port except for charging.
Does anyone have any idea?
Does your PC makes any sound on connecting your phone to it?

No Computer Connection, no 'Allow connection in HDB mode' pop-up

I'm trying to put music on my phone, so I got HiSuite set up and everything and tried to connect. At first, it didn't connect at all, so I did some research to find a fix.
I've set the settings to allow HDB HiSuite connection, and I've turned on USB Debugging in developer mode as well. (I've tried with and without USB Debugging on) It's also set by default to MTP connections, and yes when the notification pops up it says charging only, but I switched it to Media.
On the computer, it shows up as connected and I get a pop up saying 'connect to device-please authorize your computer to manage your device.' In order to continue, I have to click ok on a pop up on my phone that says 'Allow connection in HDB mode'.
But I'm not getting that pop-up so I am stuck on this step.
I've tried switching out cables but that doesn't work. I was using the cable that came with the phone originally anyway. If it's the port I'm screwed, because it's the only port that still works on this computer.
Any ideas of something else that could be causing the problem? I appreciate any help you could give.
