If u r talking bout Atom ( black /pure), i think the rom that u r asking does not exist. all wm6.5 a cooked rom. AFAIK, O2 never release WM6.5 for atom ( black /pure). The last official rom released by O2 was WM5 version 2.2. Any other than that is cooked rom from some great ROM cooker here or somewhere else.. cheers... 73..

yeah keep waiting for the 6.5 clean rom
i tried all roms from pdaviet bluetooth and wifi are not working n the rom is not clean too.

Helloworld1 WM6.5 is good, only issues is unable to send via bluetooth and max. you can have is 2 bluetooth devices......but all WM6.5 for Atom is having that problem, Helloworld's version seems most stable and clean. Anyway, if you need something is set your network provider, you can use the attached file. Install it after you install Helloworld's ROM(B4 is the latest now).

Hi All, it time for you to be a cooker, Helloworld1's kitchen combining and XIP porting tutorial by G can be use for atom, use it to extract existing ATOM ROM to get the OEM, follow the tutorial of poting XIP, and for SYS you can extract it from existing wm 6.5.

people like sonblack are the gurus of the game. for a long time i was very sorry that i bought an o2 atom. but the power management cab and sonblacks 21014 rom has changedthe way i look at my phone.
where will you find this combination now wifi fm 2megapixil and 416mhz. only hi end very expensive phones have all these features. all other phones are 200mhz and no radio.

Yes I also don't like the honeycomb. In term of stability, the ROM better than KH's 21806, but the bluetooth are all same, not working.

My Atom Pure used Wm 6.5 from Khoa Ha (PDAviet), OS 5.2.21500..
there's no honeycomb and i like it...
but i can't find tools to clear memory...and it cause some programs cannot be load.
I already try task manager, but my main memory cannot clear...
I used Quick Menu, there is something like "Close" , "Close All"....but that not make any difference...
Till now I have to reset my device to clear my main memory...
I have an O2 XDA ATOM LIFE and i'd like to know if this rom can be installed in it.
I have a problem with bluetooth and I'd like to resolve it.

Thanks for the experiences on installing WM 6.5, it is success but not full working. it average work about 5 minutes before hang (screen bluring and O2 XDA Atom can not response).

I accidentally did the same thing, upgraded my WM6.1 with TJ's WM6.5 for Atom EXEC... (oops)
Suprisingly, It runs very fast, Iam very excited with manila 2D and the sound is significantly louder than WM 6.5 by khoa (very happy with this). I havent try the Bluetooth yet.
However, it seems that the display has some problem, looks like in interlaced mode (see some horizontal line/texture) and flickering.
anyone did the same thing?

yupz.... it will Works.
even the official wm5 for atom exec is work for atom.
and can be flashed back to original ATOM too.
use only os+extended rom upgrade, don't mess with the other stuff.
the most important is... don't play with the bootloader (EBOOT.nb0)

yeah me too, i think the display is broken, but its not, WM6.1 TJ for atom exec not support for atom black, try to upgrade with WM6.1 by kumara

I only used file on Atom release 2 without EXTROM, now it's been 3 hours where the screen stuck on windows mobile display only. is this normal ? how long does it take ?
Something is wrong! Please follow all the steps, if you are using the PC Update method, as explained in the first page of Main thread.

u have to flash with the ext rom as well, if not ur rom won't work fine.
i recommend to flash atom- r1 coz everything is there, o2 media plus, o2 equalizer......

i have added extrom, so there are 2 files on my sdcard. but nothing happen after except windows mobile screen only.. i have waited for 4 hours and i think that it's not working.

i didn't flash via sd card, i flash via pc.
Remember! u have to add 12 bytes header first before u can flash via pc.
1. download pc update for HP by helloword1 and past diskimg.nb0 to pc update directory then run .bat file (java runtime needed)
2. after run .bat file u will get another files xxxx.nb0, take out that file then past in pc update for atom in c:\windows\temp (with extrom too)
3. connect ur atom -> run Udate Utility...... wait around 20 Minustes... done

Atom original ROM is Windows Mobile 5 Magneto.
There are no Original release of WM6.0, WM6.1, and WM6.5 for ATOM BLACK

Chris,
There's no original 6, 6.1, 6.5 for Atom Black. We are only able to go as far as WM5 for original ROM.
You can go here for previous available ROM(WM5, WM6, WM6.1) :

If you need WM6.5, you can try Helloworld1, Tabbe, Searcher or Glossyx1's ROM(they are all WM6.5 cooked ROM).......just go to main page of Atom ROM Development and you should se all the thread there.
