I am on MoDaCo 2.8 and when I open "All Program" menu and press search button, the phone will back to the home screen.
Any idea why?

Hi, after I've done HardSPL and put in a new Rom my phone started to everytime I open the start menu it keeps going down in that menu. After I press Up it doesn't go down in any menu at all.
Can anyone help?

since I have rooted my device (iMiTo AM801 running Android Gingerbread 2.3.1) I'm not anymore able to power off it properly.
After pressing for some seconds the power button and after I confirm the message asking if I want to power off the device, it never actually turns off and I need to press the reset button.
The problem is that quite often the reset button restart the device!! so I'm stucked.
PS: after I start the procedure for normal turn off (pressing the power button for some seconds, and answering the confirmation message) in the background I see a a message appearing just in the bottom toolbar of Android, but I cannot see what is says as the power off message is a modal window.
Any help, thanks in advance.
I solved this issue by installing one of the apps available on the Android market enabling to reboot the system.
I was about to flash a new rom. so I went to "install via zip file" blah blah
entered the folders. then I suddenly realized that I don't have the file on my tab YET.
I can't figure out how to go back to the first part of cwm.
I'm stuck deep inside the folders.
and btw it says on my tab
"Back menu button disabled."
SOLVED : Keep clicking back button to have the "back menu button" enabled. "

Every time i press the menu key at the apps menu the home screen options appear behind instead (as shown by the attached file).
I don't know what am i doing wrong, please help.
Here is the situation. I updated tablet up to Android 5.0 using official software. It was working with no problems. Then system informed that you can update the system agai. And after second update, when system boots up, I get the error message that dongle is not responding. Press ok and get message that voice command is not responding. Press ok anf get message that system NS is not responding and so on. I cannot turn it off. After rebooting (long press on power button), I get the same.
SO I tried to make hard resset: long press for volume up, volume down and power buttons. I get to the screen with android and message No command. In all videos on youtube and in the net clearly stated that brief pressing the power button will open list where I can select factory reset. But when pressing power button nothing happens. Long press reboots the system, shot press no responce.
What to do? Any suggestions?
