21057 SYS UPDATED ON 12/4/10WM 6.5 28002 UC compatible Rom for New Gene and Old Genepage pool=8mb
device memory=34mb
free ram on start up=23mb,After normal use 19-20mb
Here my self cooked rom for gene users......
I have seen that most of the htc devices in this forum have their UC[user customization] rom available......so i have just cooked a rom that is UC compatible for gene users........
I choose 28002 build which is fast and good for multitasking.....
PACKAGES:
All the packages are same as provided by sumit in his visual kitchen........
USER CUSTOMIZATION:
UC compatible rom execute SDautorun.exe file on first boot that will use SDConfig.txt file to install cabs and settings during user configuration...
In this UC compatible rom you can install all your cab from any perticular folder in storage card to device during the first boot at user customization(it will take 3-4 minutes for 8-9 cabs,and after completing installing cab device will reset)......but for that you have to put "SDConfig.txt" file to the root of your memory card..........so, this will save you from tired some work of installing cabs separately and one by one.....
As we gene users have low space in our device storage.....you can use WinCE cab manager for changing default installation directory of any cab to \Storage Card\Program Files\.....so that cabs will install in memory card....if you have not changed your cabs default directory to storage card,it will install all cab into device and the free device memory will be low...so use WinCE cab manager to install more cabs........
you can also change settings on first boot by adding SleuthProvisioning.xml
file
you will get this user customization features after hard reset also as this is UC compatible rom.....
but one cannot get user customization if he/she have used SDConfig.txt and SDAutorun.exe in a non UC compatible rom after hard reset....

Your ROM is very Nice, neat and Eye catching. But, I'm facing one problem.. When I connect my PDA to my Computer via USB Cable then after sometime my PDA gets Restarted and it also happens when I make Calls, this never used to happen before this ROM.. So, Could you please tell me any solution because I don't want to switch to any other ROM.. I like this ROM.. Please HELP.!!

yes..this only happen when the PAGEPOOL IS NOT suitable to your device...just change it via pagepool changer and flash it again...u can use 6 &8 mb only for gene...
more pp and less ram but better stability...

How have you managed to get SDconfig to work? On some of the ROMs I've tried putting it in, it never resets, and on some it fails to initialize...

Download M2D themes and then run the M2DC, there is a button click on it and browse to the themes you have downloaded to your SDcard select the theme you want to use and click on apply. Thats it

If you are using any of the ROMs with in built M2D, then you don't need to install it. And trust me, its not a good idea to install M2D individually on your Device, the speed of device will make you want to kill yourselft . So, I am assuming you have M2D integrated in your ROM, now you need only M2DC and themes to get going. BTW search the dev/hack forum there "is" a thread for M2D elfin version (which will work with Gene).
As above, for everyone who want to cook it's own WM6.5 with a native base drivers + kernel.
Don't ask to me how to use these packages, use the Search!

This Kitchen is very nice indeed! It does what it must do, in the way I like it!
I'm cooking now with the, in the previous post posted, Bepe Platformrebuilder and it seems to go good. To make the OS-new.nb to RUU_signed.nbh I use dutty's NBH Tool 1.1.

did u try ezinput ? that one is very good its take 4mb of you rom but make your work faster
did u try task manager ? its place correctly on wp 6.5 taskbar (previous taskmanager are very close to battery icon )
new mHub,Shared_Modules,Dshow,DRM_Middleware,DiscretixDRM.and much more packages has hell lot's of dependency to audio manager Album and much more ...

Yup. And I am using EVERYTHING you have supplied. Its pretty weird though, its not that the tick is removed on startup, its still there

This is a full kitchen with the new 2.53 ROM update from HTC. It cooks.. It boots.. Nothing special has been added. I recmod'd the modules in the Notification_Enhancement_3_5_20113824_00 package.

I'm at work right now, and my T1 is kinda slow, so it's going to take a while.. I'll be working in the simulator in a little while so I may not be able to get it uploaded very quickly..
I will tell you the steps I use to do this, that way you can maybe get it done before I have a chance.
1) Download the full kitchen package on airxtreme's thread. (Link in first post)
2) Extract the kitchen to C:\MyKitchen <<-- Whatever name you want to use here...
3) Download the Italian ROM from tom_codon's post on HTCPedia.. (Link in first post)
4) Open the kitchen. It will ask you for the Device Model.. Choose Topaz.
5) It asks for the RUU Update File. Click Browse, and fine the EXE you downloaded.
6) Click Next. It will go through the extraction process, and created the folders for you. It may say 'Unable to copy...' Just hit Retry if it does..
7) Once the kitchen is extracted completely, recmod the Notification Enhancement EXT package.
8) Create a ROM!
I will continue to download the Italian version for you, and upload a kitchen as soon as I'm able, but those steps may get you there faster.

well, finally got an italian bootable rom but I think that this kitchen has a bug: outlook icon disappear and office mobile doesn't work...

So it did boot.. Good to know.
I cooked mine with SYS 23541.. Office 10 beta, and I also have an empty Outlook folder in the start menu.. Didn't think anything of it, because the Mail icon is in the root of the start menu.. Is there supposed to be something in that Outlook folder?
Will mark the ITA as bootable. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing.
I noticed this folder on Dutty's HG 10 and just deleted it. I thought that maybe my gmail exchange settings placed it there.
I wish to have a Greek ELL rom...
Is it possible to have an ELL kitchen?

Did you include all of the packages? I haven't seen this error.. (Also on a pure)
