Are there any XDA forum members from Canada using Rogers Wireless in the Toronto Area with their Wizard G4?
I am using WM6 MB Edition and seem to be having problems with my current Radio. ie. Missed Calls, Missed or delayed Voice Messages, Missed or delayed TXT (SMS) Messages, etc.
I had tried using 2.61.11 Radio when I had the Underground Edition of WM6 installed, but it seemed to have made things worse, so I reverted back to the original 2.25.11 version that I'm currently using. I had mistakenly hoped things would get better if I installed the MB (Most Beautiful) edition of WM6 but it has made any difference. Although I do like the MB Edition of WM6 better than Underground Edition of WM6.
What to do... What to do...
C'mon people, isn't there anyone in these Forums that is using Rogers? I need some help here! Thank you!
I'm using the radio 02.25.11 with Faria's latest rom and I get great reception in Vancouver with no problems. I know I'm not in the GTA but you can try Faria's and see if it helps
It would seem that the general consensus is that for most WM6 romsone should stick with 2.19.11 .. I read that on this forum today ...
You can get 2.19 from the xda ftp site, or www.ppctuning.org ( Radio only ROMs) ... I regulaqrly use theirs and they always flash my CIDlocked G4 like a charm ..
I'm not with Rogers, not in Canada, and use the new Faria WM6 {real thing} ROM with 2.61.11 but abov e is what I read about the other ROMS -

Thanks radiotrib! I've just installed (downgraded to) the 2.19.11 Radio ROM, lets hope is works ok!!! My fingers are crossed!

Just flashed to xplore 2 WM6, and am currently using t-mobile 02.25.11. So far so good. Might be too soon to tell.

Well it looks like 2.25 isn't working in a reliable manner. Will be flashing to 2.19.
I tried almost all and 1.09.11 works best for me on Rogers.

Alright so now I'm using 2.40.11 radio on my core2n WM6 wizard. For the past week this has been very reliable.
After I did flash my Qtek 9100, with Faria WM6, I had some trouble with missed calls and stuff.. (Using Radio ROM 02.61)
Now im going to try 02.19
I am on Fido (AKA, Rogers) and my Talk time really, really sucks!
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions which radio I could try to extend my battery life?
Also, does anyone know where I can download radio only ROMs?

Ok I tried to update my rom but it said that the rom isn't designed to work with my device. Is there anytway to manually load it or something? thanks, Luis.
hi guys i have read the rules and regulation before posting here. also about some tips on how to flash and to tweak a little my hd2 i just have couple question tho.
**should i flash my hd with both rom and radio ROMs to get the best performance of my tmobile hd2?
**(depending on the answer above) if i flash my hd2 can i still keep my swype app?

First, you didn't read the rules, because there is a sticky at the top of this forum saying to post questions into the hd2 q&a forum.
Second, you don't need to flash a radio unless you want to. Just make sure you flash a ROM that says TMOUS compatible and uses a .50 radio.
Third, most of the custom ROMs come with swype, if not there are cabs around you can use. But flashing a ROM wipes everything but the radio and the storage card.
I have a 1024 leo I want to try different roms on my leo.
I can't tell what official rom is the one i have, my rom version is 2.13.531.1 (90963) wwe. Can someone tell my where to download this rom.

ok, so by far the most important thing to get you started is to say you are in the regular hd2 section. the tmous (t mobile us) hd2 has its own section because it has compatibility issues compared to the regular hd2.
