I am looking for the least modified 6.5 rom for prophet, i tried a few but they were all heavily modified or there were too much programs preinstalled, or the worst either the camera or the wifi did not work, so i am trying to get as close as possible to the original stable rom.

Original ROM for Prophet is WM5 !!! no updates from htc.
Buy a new phone with WM6.5 if you want original WM6.5.
how do you cook ROMs in 6.5 then?? :S

Hi Junior,
All the Cooked ROMs in this thread are coming from Original WM6 ROM which was build for another type of Pocket PC. It was dumped from the original WM6 and cooked with the driver and other adaption file to be used in Prophet Device.
I am new in this forum and ı see some 6.5 roms for atom.Is tehere a 6.5 rom(english or german) for hp ipaq 6828?
if u found it, please tell me.
off couse it can, its all about stabillity.
even a chief release the ROM with beta status, many bugs still contain inside, and many complain will be come

I dump 2 ROM WM6.5, and so far all of the WM 6.5 ROM is China ROM, not WWE, and they modified it to english, the base ROM still china.

Have only Dutch version for you.....In case you are not lucky in finding the right 6.1 Rom why not try one of the fantastic 6.5 versions which circulate here....?

I am in need of a WM 6.1 ROM for my Mega.
I have tested Blackberry connect in the Mega with WM 6.5 and there is no way it works so WM 6.1 is a must.

It is a must, anyway, I have spent my life with the stylus for the last 12 years and I hate to use my thumb otherwise I would have chosen a Iphone.
Let's hope someone cooks a WM 6.1 ROM

I experimentally backported the wm6.5 nk.exe for Whitestone which shipped with 6.5 to 21054. Use the oemxipkernel from 6.5 and the .ROM and .VM for 6.5 and the sys from wm6.1 DaG gave me those pointers. Many 6.5 oem pkgs may not work also so swap them for wm6.1 ones and use a wm6.1 htc scroll. I cannot get the gps detected/working (think call to ril for gps isn't coded to work on 6.1) but other than that its pretty speedy and all in all works much better than I thought.

I'd be intersted too, we use a program on our work pdas ( htc touch cruise)
its called infoanywhere nomadic client, which works fine on 6.1 but keeps slow polling on 6.5 roms ( HD2, Mega and diamond with a 6.5 rom)
Any news or does anyone know of a work round on nomadic client ?

No original rom for prophet (s200)
the original one is WM5
you can try my ROM
It's 6.1 very fast, stable, no skins and enhancements
just added usefull apps
