I've searched the forum, and i can't seem to find the original black keypad driver, i found a blue one, but i have a all black theme and the blue looks horrible . Please could anyone find me the black one or even tell me how to apply a skin or something ? im going mad over this and finally ended up making my own thread. please reply.
what keypad do you mean?keypad that choose via SIP?or hardware keypad?

Sorry for posting in old topic but don't wan't to do another one.
I'm looking for hardware keypad drivers. But original. On Insomnia Rom topic are some but i have problems because when i delete selected letter/word it is showing up in 1 sec. I don't like xT9 because with polish letters need to send 2-3 sms as normal one.
Virtual keyboard isn't good for me because can't write when i'm walking.

The problem you describe, letters coming back when you delete them, also occur with the original hardware keypad drivers (which you can find in any original rom for the touch dual). If you wait a second or two after you made an error the letters won't come back.
Yes, i know, but i'm writing fast, and sometims it is making me realy angry when i'm writing somethink and later i see words with letters in them etc.
Well, roms from ROMeOS and Niki Project 2.1.3 don't have this problem. Meybe there is an solution to have working keypad?

I used PDAVIET 4.0.0.4. and the design was perfect for me.
Because I had problems with charging with USB and WiFi which didn't start each time, I wanted to test other Roms.
First I tested ProphetTouchIX. The TouchFlo And Cube effects worked at the first boot and never worked after that. And it was too slow.
Then, now I'm using Mysterious 1.0. So far so good, but I don't like background.
I'd like to have the same Today/Phone backgrounds and the same Dial phone theme, keypad I had in PDAVIET 4.0.0.4.
I'd like to use TouchKeyboard/Keypad I saw in ProphetTouch IX. It's really great to SMS.
So it's possible to do it?
why not try crystal v4? it has touch keyboard..but im not sure about the theme used in 4.0.0.4...the themes in crystal are default ones..

Actually, I just want to remove the background picture. I do prefer it with no picture.
I found the HTC default touch theme (*.tsk). But I don't know to put this file to make it appear in the themes menu.
EDIT : I found where I have to put *.tsk. In Windows directory.
for what it's worth...this cab was floating around...i dunno though, you might need to change something to get it working properly. It seems to just appear like the screenshot when installed...

I cant remember off hand, but back when I had my Hermes there was very similar keyboard that used xT9 that was black. Perhaps someone else can recall. I'm not sure if it would work with our VGA screen now or not.

I have attempted to create a black keyboard, The problem is not the graphics its the text...I am unaware how to change the black fonts to white? Maken the keyboard is no problem at all for me.

controlled with registry edits?
Possibly but I don't like to play with peoples registry via a .cab install of my theme's so I gave up on this project. And stayed focused on the rest of the OS. I may agian look deeper into this in the future.
I'm currently using probex tf windows 7 theme and the incoming call screens both port/land and the dialer screens are basically the default black s2a..so I customized every file just about but have 1 issue..in landscape view when on a call there is a big white bg around the end call button and I cant find a way to remove this or which file it is, can someone please help me??

Back when I made the black S2A theme, I ran ino the same problem and spent countless hours trying to figure it out with no success.

o word, u made the black theme, props on that, ****s on the weak ass white one, the probex dialer is based off your black theme..thanks for replying tho, u find any solution hit me up

I just updated my HTC Touch Pro to 6.5 with one of the made roms from here.
Works very nice.
The problem is, there ain't any danish keyboard layout.
So i can't use the following letters: æøå
Though i can see the letters no problem if i receives messages with em'.
I just cant type them my self.
Anyway to solve this? Ive look around the forum but can't really seem to find anything useful.

Hy, there is a registry entry that changes the layout of the keyboard and you have to change the value to 0407 (engl.) or 0409 (germ.) or the number of your country ... Sorry that i cant say more at the moment, but im sure you will find that by using the search..

I have now tried with all the .reg's and stuff around the forums, scandinavian hardware keyboards etc.
The closest i got, was with Scandinavian Keyboard by Fraction.

Then i get all my FN buttons to work ( those that are highlighted with green color ) EXCEPT Æ Ø Å.
This is really confusing lol. :-(

First, again, sorry for posting it here. Still don't have permission to post on development forums (need 10 posts to do that).
I was looking for an English Keyboard Layout for CM but I couldn't find one on the thread. So, I downloaded the German (the one without specific german letters mapped to blue/sym keys) and started hacking on it a little..
Well, I could swap Y and Z keys, but then I had to press blue+Z to enter number 3. I tried changing another things too without any success.
Is there anyone who can help me accomplish this things:
- Important things:
1- Fully swap Y and Z letters, letting me enter number 3 pressing Z.
2- My comma ',' key prints an apostrophe. I wanted to make it print comma.
- Not so important:
3- Make blue+C who actually has an apostrophe on it prints an apostrophe (that's not so important because I'm brazilian. We don't use apostrophes to much in here =P. And it's my girlfriend's phone, she is 99% of the time typing portuguese =P)
What can help, maybe, someone who provides a layout there, can point me where to find the original keychars.kcm. The update.zip comes with this file in a binary format, making it difficult to change =/
