This is a copy and paste from my blog on thoughts on this rom and 6.5.
http://www.blakemitchellweb.com/blog/?p=31
I use an HTC Touch Pro and recently installed a custom rom running Windows Mobile 6.5. This particular rom was made by Jakdillard and posted at XDA devs. I am not sure about too much of the information as to what parts are used from 6.5 and 6.1. First off I will say that I installed and let customization run first. This had TF3D install and I wanted to get more of a feel for sliding panels. When I disabled TF3D and reenabled Titanium (Thiis the name for sliding panels) it never launched. I thought that there may have been a problem so I did a clear storage. Installation went on again and I did a soft reset during customization. Upon doing this it started back like I had done a clear storage again. This time I let customization run again, did the disable of TF3D and reenabling of Titanium and once again nothing happened but after doing a soft reset titanium was up.
So the performance is pretty wretched. It lags a lot but it is usable. I was able to perform a phone call, get on the internet using the new version of IE, set up google sync in activesync and synced my calendar and contacts, installed and set up funambol for push email, installed amaze gps and was able to get a lock, use wifi, and browsed through pretty much everything. I installed Diamond Tweak and enable some of the tweaks that improve performance but did not see any improvement. When I had IE open my memory was at 85% and it dropped to 37% when I closed it so it is a bit of a memory hog.The new menus are pretty nice and do improve the finger friendliness of the ROM.I like the transparent softkeys and start bar visually, and I like the new honeycomb start menu, although I think it could have been more visually stimulating. Also, We are able to edit the icons that we use on the start bar like we could before and it does not do anything to mess up the new transparent start bar. I installed this cab by tsowen from ppcgeeks and it looks good.
Sliding panels seems pretty nice but there is also a but of a let down. Many people will prefer TF3D or one of the other plethora of shells that can be used on the today screen. Like many of the others shells and today plugins you can't use any other today plugins with this one. I like the look of the sliding panels but the let down comes from the lack of customization straight out of the box. If I could change it I would have sliding panels have each individual setting able to be disabled (i.e. I do not use text messaging because I use email. I would do away with the SMS panel.) Also it is missing some features that are getting integrated into other options. If sliding panels had the ability for developers to develop plugins to cover some of the other areas it would be phenomenal. It is missing some things like weather, rss, im, facebook, and stocks.
I am going to keep running this ROM for another day at least to get a little more familiar. Hopefully I will get a chance to make some screenshots, install second today and see how they play together.

no Problem you can find more updates for this over and www.ppcgeeks.com that is where I generally post
Yeah, I post there more often than here, but had not noticed that it was there until seeing it here and going there to look for it. I thought it was strange that it was here and not there and once I got there I realized you had it in that thread but it did not say 6.5 in the first post (or I overlooked it.) Anyway, I will keep a close eye on that thread.
This a good rom pretty pretty sexy lol ummm i understand its extreme beta an its good i hope yall guys keep doing it up an making it right...yall guys should work for microsoft an htc lol
I have been using Da_g's 6.5 beta 8 for almost a week now and LOVE it. I made the modification to the cpr files to make Titanium a little smoother and more responsive. But the only issues I am left with is when switching from portrait to landscape my phone messes up the image on my homescreen. It clips it and warps it a little. I can fix it by disabling and re enabling titanium or a soft reset.
It always comes back though - does this rom do that?
Also when using RSS hub sometimes the device hangs for up to a minute. On this 6.5. I did not have this on NATF's 4.3 before.
Any help would be appreciated!

Very Happy with it.
Except for memory and slight performance tweaking this build has been working great for me on my sprint touch pro.
Thanks to jakdillard and others who developed this.
Some screen grabs would rock my world. TIA
hot my blog on the first page there are several although with my own background image and different icons.

Perfomance is good, Touchflo is slow but that's a normality with .5 till a new version comes out.. other than that this is a nice ROM compared to others
stuck on align screen config page
after install kitchen rom, i am stuck on the align screen page. i tap on the + but it does not register. random circular motions cause it to advance to next location of + but it just repeats.
suggestions?
EDIT-
problem on my device is not limited to this rom:

edit-
a couple of hard resets later and it seems to be working. weird quirk?
In any case, great rom.
Universal CDMA, Sprint, or Verizon?
I haven't seen anything posted saying this is carrier specific. Or what radio is compatible with it.
Can someone elaborate on that?
Versions based on newer 21215 HERE
'Louzeberry' 6.5 ROM -- Version 043009 (changelog below)
This is my latest personal build. I'm posting it because I didn't notice any chefs putting together 6.5s with the standard TF3D, and I figured there might be people like me who are waiting until xboxmod gets done with converting the shipped version of TF3D2 to make the switch.
Getting to know this ROM:
* 6.5 Build 21500 (Versions based on newer 21215 HERE).
* TF3D STANDARD with the FuzeBerry theme (turned off by default in favor of the new 6.5 Titanium interface; you can switch it in the Today settings).
* FuzeBerry for the 6.5 Titanium interface.
* Rhodium menu enhancement and Tachi-style notifications.
* The HTC Dialer is no longer installed, starting with 042909. There is a known conflict between the HTC Dialer and the lock screen in this version of WM6.5. BUT the standard dialer is skinned to look much better than it does by default.
* HTC Volume is omitted, because it won't change in-call volume without the HTC Dialer. Instead, this volume app which is skinned to look almost the same is included.
* HTC Album 2.5, with the social networking uploaders. I'm not crazy about the new behaviors 3.0, or about the fact that the uploaders aren't currently included in that version.
* Opera 9.5 16277, Advanced Config, Google Maps, Titanium Customizer, Total Commander, Weathermaster (all uninstallable)
* Keyboard configured for the Fuze. Use this if you've got a non-Fuze Touch Pro.
* Available with and without HTC on-screen keyboards.
* Removed certain TF3D tabs (see 042409 changelog). If you want them back, disable TF3D and unzip this to your windows folder.
* User Customization compatible.
* Any trouble installing items or accessing 'net with with JBEd? Change this setting. (Thanks to DN).
* Hotfix: "Phoneagent fix." If you're using a 042909 or 043009, the "Phone" softkeys don't work. This takes care of that.
Changelog / Download:
043009NOKB - NO HTC Keyboard version (makes using 3rd party keyboards easier)
043009NB- HTC Keyboard included
- Updated to Opera 16277
- Power-saving tweaks enabled by default
- Connection setup won't try to start before initial customization
- JBed Start Menu shortcut added back
- Fixed ugly fonts in keyboard / PC Connection screen fixed when TF3D was disabled
- Hotfix: "Phoneagent fix." If you're using a 042909 or 043009, the "Phone" softkeys don't work. This takes care of that.
042909NOKB - NO HTC Keyboard version
042909KB - HTC Keyboard included
- No longer includes HTC Dialer, to avoid conflicts with WM6.5 lock screen, BUT skins the default dialer to look pretty nice (thanks to Davey01)
- HTC Volume is omitted, because it won't change in-call volume without the HTC Dialer. Instead, this volume app which is skinned to look almost the same is included.
- Incorporates the 042509 hotfixes. SMS freeze should be gone. Scroll wheel should work (and in lots of apps besides just the ones enabled on stock)
- Switches to jbed package provided by NRGZ28 (small goof, missing jbed shortcut in start menu; install this to fix it)
- Hotfix: Ugly font in keyboard when TF3D is off, or in the "Connect to PC" screen? Install this (Cabbed up courtesy of Captain_Throwback)
- Any trouble installing items or accessing 'net with with JBEd? Change this setting. (Thanks to DN).
042509NOKB - NO HTC Keyboard version
042509KB - HTC Keyboard included
- Fixed Comm manager issue
- Replaced Jbed with a different version. This one includes Opera Mini and the Gmail app out of the box, both available from Start menu
- "Programs" softkey in TF3D home, which didn't 't do any good without the programs tab available, Changed to "Contacts"
- Today screen previously had "Contacts" for both the right and left softkeys if neither TF3D nor Titanium was enabled. Now it'll be Contacts / Phone (just like TF3D)
- Fix for issue where the HTC keyboard can cause a freeze when typing in an SMS recipient name. Edit: Maybe not. But this should work: Install this hotfix if you have this problem.
- If there was indeed a problem preventing "Favorite Contacts" from being installed, it seems fixed. Working just fine on my tests.
- Speed boosts (no need to d/l that cab from the 042409 changelog)
- Install this hotfix to get the scroll wheel working in lots and lots of applications.
042409nokb - No HTC Keyboard version
042409kb - HTC Keyboard included
- New default TSK theme is a modified "Rock and Republic Black," with wallpaper by yours truly
- Holding down power button now brings up PSShutXP
- Removed the following tabs from TF3D: Calendar (doesn't do anything), Programs (I just use the 6.5 start menu), Call History (same settings are already in TF3D), Communications (ditto), Sounds (ditto). If you want them back, disable TF3D and unzip this to your windows folder.
- Tachi notifications are again uninstallable. May eliminate them from the next version and just provide the cab.
- "LB" Wallpaper in three colors. All included wallpapers (except "minimalistic") are now by me.
- More cleanup to save a small amount of extra space on the device
- New welcomehead
- You can boost performance with this cab (tweaks to be included by default in next release; this was updated a few times with more tweaks - the most recent version was put up in the early hours of 042509, and is def. worth redownloading if you got it before then)
(See txt file for 042209 and before)
-Lou
NEW: MobileMatt, Mr. Fuzeberry himself, is now mirroring the ROM at http://www.fuzeberry.com/

Many thanks to Da_G for the kitchen, NRGZ28, Captain_Throwback, At0mAng for his own kitchen and patience, MobileMatt for creating Fuzeberry, and all the other usual peeps.

Calendar problem
Hi, very nice try i prefer TF3d and more tabs, i flashed the rom from yesterday because with other 6.5 versions i had problem with GPS it makes disconnection several times. I don't have this problem any more. The inly bug is that the calendar in TF3d doesn't work.
Thanks
When you say the calendar doesn't work, how exactly do you mean? If it's just that all you can do is view the month, but not interact with it (no clicking through to the date, no seeing appointments, etc) that's really all there is to the calendar in this version of TF3D. It's sort of a pointless tab.
Nice in deed. I have made a FuzeBerry for WM 6.5 if anyone would like it to match TF3D....
Calendar problem
Yes i mean this excactly, but if you can only view the month in this version of TF3D then the rom is the only one with no GPS problem.
Thank's again and i will give feedback if i find any bug.
Thanks Matt -- Think that's working it's way into my next version. Do you have an existing OEM package for it you could point me to?
Pirgas -- Glad to hear the GPS works for you, but I haven't done anything special to it. I would think most of the ROMs built off Da_G's should work, unless the chefs have been tinkering with settings I haven't touched.
I don't know either what's the problem but after i flashed your rom i installed the same programs with other chef's roms. After that in your rom the GPS is locking very fast also battery drain is lower than other roms
regards
John
Hey Lou,
got any screen captures of your new rom?
Sounds interesting...
New version coming later today/tonight (Thursday) with some enhancements/additions, including the Fuzeberry theme for the 6.5 interface. Will put up some screenshots then.
this is one sweet rom one of the best. recently switched to wm6.5 roms and this one has to be the fastest of them all. I was hoping you could add some stuff like the finger keyboard, it takes forever to install afterward, and maybe the 4-in-a-row programs and settings honeycomb menu, 3 in a row is just not enough. and maybe some little programs nuelite, google maps, opera, and sort them in categories, like all chef's do.
But dont have to listen to me its a great rom as it is. Keep it up.
Google Maps and Opera will be added in tonight's build (both as cabs during initial customization, so uninstallable or easy to replace with an upgraded version). Possibly also switching to 21202 as well; not sure yet. May add Fingerkeyboard in the future -- the authors request that chefs contact them first and I haven't yet. Advanced Config also probably in tonight's.
Glad it's fast for you, but it's essentially just a build off of Da_G's kitchen with very little modification -- i barely know what i'm doing yet as a chef, so I'm going slow.
Also in tonight's, if i stick with 21500, I'll be rolling back to an earlier version of the lock screen that fixes a few issues. No fix I know about yet for the dialer/lock screen conflicts, though.
Build will be posted sometime late-night. I'm at work until around midnight.
Cool then I might just try making my own rom, but i have to warn you you have already made and have most of the things i want in mine so it will look a lot like yours.
I just have one q... How did you get calendar in the original touchFlo thats the only reason I like the rhodium is for the calendar but somehow you got it in te original TouchFlo.
Please, tell me where you got it.
Certain themes for the original TF3D include a Calendar -- including Fuzeberry. All it does is show the month, unlike the TF3DII version, where you can actually use it to see your calendar events. But if it's useful for you, it's there. If not, you can disable it (and any other tabs you may not use) in Advanced Config (which will be part of the new build).
041709 version currently being uploaded (and installed on my own Fuze ...

I'm on the same Radio (which I highly recommend, actually), and haven't had a problem. Try uninstalling the "turbo GPS" item under "Remove programs" and see if that helps.
What GPS program are you using? I've only tested with google maps.
EDIT: FYI - Putting up a new build without those GPS Tweaks and with a (hopeful) fix for the audio skipping that's been a problem with this generation of HTC devices ... will be ready in a few ...
i use igo8 and destinator7 and both have the same problem. i updated the radio to 1.14.25.05 but nothing. With your first rom the things are better but the problem is still there. Not so often but it exist. I tried almost all the 6.5 roms and i think i will go back to 6.1. I have spend a lot of time on this problem and i don'n know if it worth . i 'll give a final try on B version .
Thank's a lot for your time and your nice rom

If you haven't flashed yet (and you're on a Fuze) wait for 041809, building and uploading now. Same as 0417, but configured for the Fuze rather than TP. Also, in 041708, the AGPS wasdisabled by default -- it's enabled and set up for AT&T here. BIG difference if you're on AT&T.
Excellent ROM....Thank you
I have a couple of ideas for...please don't take the wrong way
1. Tools for customizing/configuring that work with your ROM
example: HTCWeatherMaster, TF3D Config.
The reason I pointed these 2 out because I've installed several versions and can't get it to work.
2. Can we have a shortcut for AudioManager
I haven't come across a TF3D or TF3D2 ROM with one yet. I'd be nice to access our music from the programs tab also.
3. Throw in a basic BLACK theme to match TF3D's background or include pairs so that we can match both right out the box.
Again...Excellent ROM.
I haven't tried any 6.5's because they all included TF3D2 which still has too many issues I don't want to deal with.
I also like how you took all the good from TF3D2 to create this ROM.
I'm running 041509 version right now by the way (@ time of this post).
DWNY (responding point by point)
1) Sure, I can include those, but what wasn't working when you tried them? Did the install fail? Did they fail to do what they were supposed to?
2) Do you mean the TF3D music tab, or the music player program included on some other HTC devices? If you know of a good working version, point me in the right direction.
3) Let me see what I can do -- I haven't paid much attention to whether TSK files from older versions of WM work on 6.5, or if there are any new good versions of Black made specifically for 6.5. I'll poke around and see what I can learn. But you do realize that background on TF3d is no background at all, right -- there's just no default wallpaper set.
Might be a day or two before I get to a new build. When I do, I'll upload versions both including and excluding the HTC keyboard.
Wordsmith9091 (responding point by point)
Thanks for the response.
1. The 2 I mentioned installed but ran with errors.
2. Yes, the music player that launches from the music tab. I thought/think it is AudioManager. I've come across all the pieces to TF3D/TF3D2 but not music player. I tried an older version from the TILT....no go.
3. But you do realize that background on TF3d is no background at all, right -- there's just no default wallpaper set.
I used a .TSK from 6.0, 6.1 and the background does change along with the bars. Some .TSk don't change both, bottom & top bars sometimes.
Thanks again....looking forward to new builds.
Welcome to the "EnergyROM" thread !
This development thread is for my "Energy" custom firmware series for the HTC Diamond2 (Topaz) device.
The current build numbers and date can be seen in the title of this thread. I usually update the ROMs about twice a week, as new builds come down the pipe or as new software/updates are available.
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
Stability through private beta testing before public release
I pre-configure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.
I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization). Backing up with SPB Backup or similar products, is NOT recommended, as they tend to backup the previous release's registry/file bugs as well!
Looking at the download folder you will find two core versions of my ROM.
A 21916 Build which is the most reliable and bug free release. It has the Start menu button at the top left corner. This build uses the same stock system that came with your device. This is usually the fastest and most stable build, but it's also the least fancy

A 29022 Build that's the latest in Microsoft's development with the Start menu button at the bottom left corner and big softkeys, making it all very "finger friendly". These builds reflect the latest cutting edge technology from Microsoft. Most people choose this build... Why else would you install a custom ROM ?

You can stay up to date on the status of my ROM development by "following" me on Twitter.
It's definitely the fastest way to get in touch with me and please don't be afraid to tweet me if you see major issues with the ROMs.
I generally do not answer "support" questions on Twitter, as it's really not the proper medium for that. Service packs and quick fixes will always be released as links in my tweets and that's definitely the fastest way to get a fix for a ROM.

The original ROM is the "energy" version and that's a good starting point. All the rest, are themes applied to that ROM.
They all come in two versions, Cookie 1.8.5 and Cookie 2.0 (the ROM filename will be labeled "Cookie" and "Cookie.2.0, plus the name of the theme)
You can see more screenshots of these ROMs a couple of posts down.
The two Cookie versions look pretty similar, but Cookie 2.0 has multiple sliding homescreens/freely moveable widgets (similar to Android) and
quite a few more features and speed.
My own 'Energy' style
This is the best ROM version and the way Sense should have been designed by HTC
Offers the biggest customization ability out of all versions. You can add/remove bars or items on the homescreen, arrange items any way you like, plus lots of extra features
Three built in lockscreens. "HD Mini" style, Manila style or Windows style
3 pages of quicklinks with a configurable amount of shortcuts displayed
3 Homescreen layouts to choose from, as seen in the above screenshots, all completely customizable !

Dinik's "Anastasia"
This ROM series is skinned with Dinik's great "Anastasia" theme applied on everything.
Everything has been skinned, including Sense, the start menu items, the soft keyboard, parts of the dialer... etc
_LeCiel_'s ".sencity"
This ROM is themed with the .sencity theme released by _LeCiel_ who is a very talented artist ! Please support his work if possible.
.sencity is not %100 complete yet, but _LeCiel_ is working hard on finishing his work to completely skin the entire ROM.

DJC & Bobsbbq's "Touch Of Glass"
This ROM series is skinned with DJC's "Touch of Glass" theme throughout Sense and the Start Menu
More will be skinned as DJC continues his work on the theme in the future...

ElCondor's "GTX"
This ROM has the white GTX theme applied
Android styled taskbar, matching dialer, matching start menu background and Action screen background
GTX is a total reskin of the operating system, so expect a very different (white) experience

'Standard' ROMs that have no addons installed on the homescreen. Stock Sense 2.5 !
'Energy'
This series retains the stock functionality of the Sense UI. The files have been compressed by "CFC" compression. making the UI lighter and faster
This ROM still retains my theme and style, plus all the regular apps you find in my ROMs.
There are no homescreen addon-ons in this ROM. The best speed and the most stock functionality.
'Reference'
This ROM is mostly for people that want a close to stock ROM with the stock visual style. It's also perfect for doing your own customizations.
A lot of the cooked in apps are removed in this ROM, the Start menu back to the stock 3 row style
Sense and everything else is back to the default HTC green.
ROMs mostly created for enthusiasts...
MaxSense UI (android style homescreen)
This is a complete rewrite of the Sense homescreen, by maxycy.
It features a 3 screen, Android style, homescreen with widgets! The widgets can be placed ANYWHERE on the three screens.
75 Quicklink accessible on all tabs
You should really visit the original thread for this mod shown on the next line to see all the features!
Link to the original thread for this mod is here > Click <.
Titanium (ROMs for raw speed!)
This is a minimal ROM version without Sense in it. It's used primarily for people that like to customize the default 6.5 homescreen (Titanium)
You can use it to install alternate homescreen interfaces like SPB Mobile Shell, etc
Very low memory footprint and good battery life, but very simple and lacks a lot of features that you would otherwise have available in Sense...

ROM features at a glance:
Very fast startup time. You find any startup wizards in this ROM. You'll be up and running in a couple minutes after flashing the ROM.
XDA_UC is built in. It will import your custom XML and REG files from your storage card after first boot.
My own Settings Exporter application is found in the Tools folder. Use it to export all your settings after you customize the device. When a new ROM comes down the line, use it to import everything and save time.
Everything is setup to use the phone right after flashing. Sounds, notifications, etc
The HTC Messaging client is removed, leaving the windows built SMS client for much faster texting...

FAQ
Q: Do I need to install Hard SPL before I flash these ROMs?
A: Yes, it's highly recommended, this thread will help you out.
Q: How do I keep WiFi on even in standby?
A: Open "BsB Tweaks" in the "Tools" folder in the start menu. Scroll down to Connections/Wifi Standby and turn it on.
Q: I have problems with "my location".
A: It might help to update your current radio. Use this thread for further info about which radio that suits you.
Q: NRGZ28 have uploaded new ROMs, but I can't see any changelog for it!?
A: Sometimes their isn't such a big update and therefor no changelog will be posted. But you can try to look at the changelog for HD2.
Q: Their are new ROMs that are recently released, but I can't find them on Hotfile...
A: NRGZ28 often spreads the news about new upcoming ROMs when he starts to upload them. And he don't just cook ROMs for Topaz, so have patience and wait for the uploading to finish.
Q: I use GTX themed ROM and the clock stretches zeros, how can I fix this?
A: Install the hotfix called "ECKM GTX clock 0 fix" that's attached to this post. NOTE: This fix is from the original GTX thread where you also can find hotfixes for other bugs in GTX ROMs.
Q: I get wrong username or password error when I try to login on Twitter, even though I've typed in the correct username and password?
A: Try to log off Twitter on any other device/computer.
Q: Time zone prompts multiple times a day, also after a soft reset. What can I do?

A: This could solve the problem.
Q: MaxSense won't launch, even if it is after a flash/hardreset. Is there any solution?
A: There are not a straight answer for this, but one thing that seems to have helped others is to remove the XDA_UC folder from your storage card.
Q: Where is the "addons directory"?
A: At the moment, it's located here.
Q: My battery is draining... is their any fix for enhancement?
A: Yes and no, because sometimes this "fix" helps and sometimes not. However you can find the trick here.
Q: Do I need to hardreset my phone after I've flashed one of NRGZ28's ROMs?
A: It's recommended, because it will remove any old settings that may cause bugs in the new ROM.
Q: It would be great if I could boost the audio on my phone, is there a way to do this?
A: You could take a look at this.

XDA_UC FAQ
The XDA_UC cooked in my ROMs is modified from the stock XDA_UC made by Noonski. Great addon, by the way... Noonski did a great job with this !
The version in my ROMs is trimmed down to fit the needs of my ROM series.
Some of the extra features are:
It will copy shortcuts (.lnk files) found in \XDA_UC\Start Menu\ to the device's start menu folder (\windows\Start Menu) in the hierarchy that it finds on the storage card. For example: Let's say you have a navigation package on the storage card, like Navigon. If you make a shortcut to the navigon.exe file as Navigon.lnk and copy it to \XDA_UC\Start Menu\GPS\ as "Navigon.lnk" then on a fresh ROM install it will copy any shortcuts it finds there to the same location on the device, so it'll end up in \Windows\Start Menu\GPS\. This works for other folders on the Start Menu as well. Just put the shortcuts in \xda_uc\Start Menu\ in the folders you will like the shortcuts to appear to, on the device.
It will copy a custom splash screen from \Storage Card\XDA_UC\welcomehead.192.png to \windows automatically and overwrite the one in the ROM.
It will copy a custom Sense background found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\sense\wallpaper_sense.png to the device and set that wallpaper as default in Sense. So rename your wallpaper as "wallpaper_sense.png" and drop it in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\sense\ and on the next ROM flash that wallpaper will become your wallpaper in Sense.
Other than that XDA_UC works as designed by Noonski and it will do the following things:
It will automatically import your PPCbackup (*.pib) file found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will install custom XDAS scripts found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently install CAB files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will install special CAB files that require user input (such as Agreements or any type of prompt) found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\SD
It will silently import REG files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently install REG files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\Exporter, as exported by my own Settings Exporter, ONLY if the "automatic" file is also present in that folder (and it most cases it should be, enable that option in the Settings Export application's menu)
It will silently import XML files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently import CER files (usually Exchange certificates) found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
It will silently run custom MSCR files found in \Storage Card\XDA_UC\
That's it, but don't forget to checkout the Addons folder and look in the XDA_UC section for tips and tutorials on how to export your email/wifi settings and various little .reg and tweaks you can add to your XDA_UC collection.
As always don't forget to check what installs automatically before reporting a problem with the ROM. Most of the time, if you notice you have a problem that nobody else is experience is because one of the cabs you dropped in the XDA_UC folder is installing automatically while you don't even think about it.
Cheers will definately give it a try, erm why does your music collection look too similar to my 90s college collection lol!! Some classics there!!
Cheers
Just installed the standerd version from the 18th sep from you.
One (stupid i'm afraid) question: is it possible to turn the three big (manilla 2.5) icons of?, ik like the 2.1 version more.

NRGZ28
Hi! Excellent Rom, but there is one question:
The program soft key manager changes name Left softkey, but does not start the assigned program.
SORRY guys but just trying to point out the obvious,,,,,, NRG split the roms up in two, so dont you think its about time to stop with the wifi bug if you want him to continue development,,,, seriously, if you want it, flash the rom, if not dont,,,,, if you flash the rom youll find out,,, ,,, by now we should asume that the wifi IS messed up.... so why not just report if it isnt,, ,,,
i for one would like the oppotunety to be able to flash Energy roms with manilla 2.5 in the future... not trying to slam anyone or offend anyone, but just pointing out what i got from the last few post by senior members in the "genesis" forum, including NRG...
NRG: Thanx for another superb rom.... keep up the good work pls
amazing rom thank you for your hard work my phone rocks thanks to you

What's wrong about asking for a known bug in previous roms?
Considering that this is a new build and that NRG says on the first page that there are NO bugs, only some from HTM (twitter), I just want to know if has figured out what the problem was and if he has fixed it.
That's it dude....
NRG, thanks for your amazing roms, your patience and dedication!
Ok, more people saying that the wifi bug is still there. I'll post my findings when I finish downloading the file........which is going terribly slow (rs mirror).

Finally finished downloading the rom and it's installed now.
I am connected to my home wifi and I'm trying to see if wifi goes on and off.
A problem (maybe bug) that I see now is that I can't turn off the wifi manually through the com. manager. I see the slider is to the right, so wifi is on, but it's greyed out.....I can't turn it off.
I have to click on settings - wireless lan - menu - wifi - menu - turn off wifi
So this is pretty annoying.......can you guys check it out and see if you can turn wifi off manually in the com. manager??
Thanks, I'll checking the forum....
Cheers!
Thanks for all your hardwork on the EnergyROM's, you shall definatly be receiving a donation when my own personal credit crunch ends.
Love the Twitter integration too, I'll just wait a couple of revisions until it works, but its nice to see HTC embracing the "new" social networking site.

Maybe you have connected your phone with activesync and try to turn off or on a wifi? If yes... unplug phone from your pc.
Ok, I've been testing the rom now for about 40 minutes and so far no wifi bug for me.
I've let the phone on for 10 minutes and it didn't try to connect to my wifi. I've switchted the phone on and off (the screen) and it doesn't connect to wifi automatically. Which was the case in the previous version.
So for me, thusfar no wifi bugs. I'll keep the rom for a whole day and will post tomorrow with an update.
Thanks for the great rom!!
Cheers!
Wow!! another nice new ROM! thanks, NRGZ28, gonna flash this ROM later and report what i found(hopefully i would find nothing as bug).
Through a bit of luck, I have upgraded to a Tilt2. Unfortunately, this was only after my Fuze broke. Since I am now without a Touch Pro device, this will be my last release of this ROM. Thank you to everyone who used this ROM and a huge thank you to those that helped put it together.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
This ROM is a fork of Aruppenthal's great work on the RRE series of ROMs. He was kind enough to provide his kitchen and guidance after upgrading to a Touch Pro 2. I will be attempting to keep his theme of stability, speed and usability in this ROM. This ROM will always be built with the latest builds of Windows, HTC Sense and HTC components that I can get my hands on. There will also always be a Manila free version for those that wish to use an older version of TF3d, or a different shell all together.
28008.1 Notes:
- I'm still looking for a working package for Windows Live. The cooked in version will not connect to the server. I *think* installing it from the Marketplace may fix this.
- Sense on my phone is very sluggish for the first few minutes after I flash. I think it's releated to Activesync getting settled, but if you have this problem just give it a few minutes and it will settle right down.
- The Settings icon on the start menu will open the Sense settings menu if Sense is in use. The menu at the bottom of the screen will open the windows settings menu. If Sense is off, this icon goes straight to the windows settings menu. There is a tweak I can apply that will add a second icon that will always go to the windows settings menu. Does anyone actually want this?
-MMS may not work with the default connection settings. This varies from location to location. See the Known Bugs post for a fix.
ROM Info:
The No Manila version of this ROM has only Titanium installed for a home screen. The Gen.Y 2.1 version is reported to install with no problems. Use this if you want Manila without the instability of a beta build.
The VGA port of HTC Sense used in the Sense version of the ROM is in beta. I will be keeping up with updates to Sense, but can't fix any problems in it directly. For progress on the port and related bugs, check out this thread.
Titanium is still the default Today plugin. If you want to use Sense, just switch them in the control panel.
After enabling Sense, soft reset and the position fix will kick in.
AT&T connection and keyboard settings are configured by default. Non-AT&T Keyboard setting can be changed using the utility in the Tools folder. Non-AT&T connection settings can be set by downloading the Restore Connection Setup tool.
This ROM is cooked with the rilphone.dll file for radio 1.14.25.35.
This ROM is UC compatible.
Opera is not included with this ROM and must be installed by the user. Cabs can be downloaded from this thread.
The new HTC Messaging app is cooked into the Sense version of the ROM. Some people love it, some hate it. If you are one of the haters it can be disabled with this.
As always, it is recommended you flash to a stock ROM before flashing a new custom ROM. I make a point to do this every few flashes and it has reduced the number of random problems I've had. It is also important that you remember to do a hard reset immediately after flashing a ROM.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF DATA AND/OR DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE

I am happy you took the reigns on this style ROM. I moved to TAEL's which is awesome but I miss a few of the built in programs of the RRE.
Good luck with everything! I just downloaded your other version from a different thread, the RRE thread, is this a newer version?

I almost switched to TAEL myself...but couldn't pass up the challenge of cooking my own.
This is the next version of the one I posted to the RRE thread. I fixed the issues reported from that one and added in Manila 2.5.

I felt the same way but currently I'm without my computer and living with a friend, so no cooking for me till i get my own place and my computers back up and running. Till then I have to rely on good people like you to pick up the fight.
I have been wanting to try 2.5 for some time but just couldn't pull myself away from RRE ROMs.
Oh ya one question for ya. Exactly what version of Sense 2.5 is it. some mods only work with certain versions.

It's 99% version 1920. I haven't tried any of the mods, but a lot of the source files were updated for VGA so it'll be interesting to see what works.
Keeping my eyes on your build
Hi, xawen,
I'm so glad that somebody will continue arrup's great work on our raphael. RRE ROMs are so far the only ones will keep Viigo running under WM 6.5. Unfortunately, I rely on my phone for my job, so stability is the most important thing for me. I would not be able to play with your build just yet, until it's stabilized. But I will definitely keep on eye on your thread to see how's your progress. Keep up the good work. Thanks.
Regards,
Mail bug
When you go to an email inbox, either through Manila or Windows, and tap on an email, you can not get the email to open.

Ya. I saw the same problem when I tried your 23506 build without manila posted in arrup's threat, so I had to revert back to arrup's 23071 build.
Glad you've picked up the ball here. I'm curious if there are any issues with sms messageing or any problems using phone keypad sip. Also can you download attachments from pop3 email servers ok? How is batery life? I'd like to try this rom. thanks.
It seems I found a few issues this morning.
1. Settings tab-Location.......does nothing
2. Email-Pretty much useless. The send/receive action works but other than that nothing. Unable to create a new email, unable to open emails, this is for both in the manila tab and in the program itself.
3. Photo/Video tab-While not play videos from tab itself. If you scroll down one picture, press it to open it,then scroll back one to the video it will play it. If you open the album and select a video it will play as well.
Other then that I can not find to much wrong. Oh I did notice on a few things like when setting up an email account. While typing in the password the box was being partially block and not in view. This was for both using with on screen keyboard and in landscape mode using hard keys. Also while typing a text it kind of did the same thing. It showed the first line I typed and would not auto scroll to show what I was continuing to type. I swiped the screen and it dropped out of typing opened the full window so I could see the full message. When I went back to typing it went back to a single line of viewable type but this time it would scroll with the end of each full line.
It did send and receive texts fine though.
I'll continue to see what I can find but so far that is it. I still have yet to load all my programs and copy short cuts, blah,blah....
Thank You again for keeping this clean ROM alive and make it your own
edit found some more
Thought i would post a few screen shots of what I've been able to do so far with it.
I used Max Manila 2.51920xx Ultimate - v2.3a
I have posted a No Manila build in the second post. This version does not have the email bug. Manila can be easily added using the Gen.Y Manila 2.1 cab. This version should be very stable since it has almost no beta packages. The only real bug I know for sure with it is the Windows Live Messenger not connecting problem. I'm still looking for a package to fix that.
I'm working on the Sense version email bug now. I think I've got a dependency wrong, but there's like 30 of them so it's taking some time to find. The project to port Sense is constantly kicking out new versions, so the other bugs with it should clear up over time. If anyone sees something not working in rRedux that has been reported working in that thread, let me know and I'll see what I did to break it

Very nice. By the way, let me tell you how insanely jealous I am that it's snowing in Salt Lake... I can't wait for ski season to kick in on the east coast.
Ya I have been waiting for it to snow here. It has several times but nothing more then a flurry. I know how it feels man I used to live in Jersey, what do you think I moved out here for.
The email fix has been found! Install this cab and reopen email.
I'll make sure this is fixed in the the next release.
New build version posted. The No Manila build is the same, only changes are to the Sense version.
Email bug should be fixed.
Hi everyone,
I'd like to do the following two things: 1st, remove the quicklinks on the (stock) homescreen on my HD2. To be more precise, those three I see by default when looking at the homescreen. The 3x3 block I get by scrolling down can stay.
2nd, I'd like to expand the appointments the calendar shows (which is the main reason for removing the quick links).
I know this can be perfectly done with CHT, since I used it all the time before. But CHT was also the reason for every single hardreset I've done, so I decided to stay as close to stock as possible (hence the Energy Standard ROM) and look into android in the upcoming weeks.
Is it possible to realize my request via 'simple' registry tweaks - or any other means but installing a full homescreen mod?
i don't know of any registry tweaks to do this....never really even seen it discussed.
have you tried energy's older roms with cht 1.8.5? i am using it and it is rock solid.
Ironically, most of the crashes on my HD2 occurred while using CHT 1.8.0 and 1.8.5 (manual installation on stock rom and an energy rom with cht included, respectively). I didn't use version 1.7.x for too long, but at least I had no problems with it back then.
I guess this really is one hell of a question I got here.
Alternatively, is there a way to change the icons of the quicklinks to some with a higher resolution? That'd at least make it visually more attractive.

download JWMD icon changer.......
then you can use any icons you want......
Id seriously look into CHT if I was you....
Even though 2.0 is still in beta its been rock solid for me (and most people)......
ive heard it runs really well installed on the energy reference series.....
Thanks for your quick reply. I guess that'll do for now.
As I already said, CHT is out of the question for me. It is an awesome tool, no second thought here. But you said it yourself: its rock solid "for most people".
I'll stay with my current energy rom and the standard interface and mess around with some android builds for now. This way I always have a stable WinMo installation I can fall back to in case a Android build does not suite my taste.
Anyway, thanks for your help and your concern
