I bring my rebuild of an original ROM from my Niki100, in Brazilian Portuguese, with WM6 Pro OS 5.2.1622build18128.0.4.4. The device came from TIM Brazil with ROM version 1.35.527.13.
I used the instructions described on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334680 to dump the rom from device.
After, I used a niki kitchen available in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=361274 to rebuild the OS ROM.
So here is the download:

Just extract files, run ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow the instructions on screen.

hi, I did this in my nike, but my camera stopped working and was not with the 3G setting, ie no 3G connectivity. I had to reinstall the same of Portugal. is that just could make a rom Brazil unchanged original. already tried everything here in the forum and can not find.

Hi there, guy.
First of all, your phone must be hard-spl and CID unlocked.
what Radio ROM are you using? My phone is Security Unlocked (by me) and running radio version "RUU Nike Radio 1.58.21.23S Modded" that you can find here in this forum. I cannot post the link here, but you can do a search with "RUU Nike Radio 1.58.21.23S Modded"
I you tell me what you did exactly, maybe I can help you, so you can help me too testing my original rom that I dumped from my phone.
what version is your niki? 100 or 200?

The ROM I use is WM6_RUU_Nike_TIM_Brazil_PTB_1.35.527.13 (No_Radio). zip, posted here, are already using other roms, the problem is that I want to use one that is operator TIM and was stationed here, the radio that I use is also RUU Nike Radio 1.58.21.23S Modded and my version of Nike's 100.
Wow really wanted to use this ROM to your nike, only it already did this 5 times and always the same error, does not get 3G connections and camera does not work.

Hello all, i'm searching the ROM 1.66?? for my Qtek 2020. Does anyone have it? From were can i download it? It's strange since the new ones are sold with that ROM and i cannot find it anywere.

well the imate rom is out at that version for download
and my qtek2020 came with it but it's got some issues with not wanting to turn on once in awhile and the only cure is hardreset

So it means that i can use that version without having to hack it with the Rom tools? It's just direct? i will give it a try then. Do you think that your problems are related to that ROM version?

i cant say if it's the rom version which are giving me grief
because it came with that version so i've never tried other rom on the device
i dont know where to download it because my came with it installed
i somebody can tell me the adresses i have to put in dmemdump or whats it called so people dont get the bootloader or what ever they dont want from the rom and got a place to host the rom i could take it off my xda2 and copy it to that ftp
but all grps, mms. wap settings are set to some phone company so they have to be removed and new ones have to put in manualy for people to be able to use it because the phone company is not a big international phone company

i have one problem with my q-tek s100,i have done a terrible mistake.... i wanted to update it and i put wrong rom in it.. :X i have put dutch version omg.. my s100 is in greek but i thing i can install it US version? So when i try to install diferent rom it disconects from pc and it goes to screen 'usb or serial and down version 1.0'..How can i unistall it? Plz help. :'(

don't worry, your device just stuck in bootloader mode caused the rom that is incompatible with the device ! try to reconnect to the PC and flashing with the official rom which can be obtained at http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=windows%20mobile&model=Himalaya

It is NOT POSSIBLE to flash or replace the ROM on your device with a dumped rom. At the moment there is no portuguese ROM available.

Same thing here, I have a htc tytn with the portuguese rom (bought to TMN)! And I have some problems in my wireless connection when I connect to a wireless network that requires a certificate! ...... without the portuguese rom we are stuck.. because If anything goes wrong in the upgrade process we don't have any manner to downgrade to the original rom.. and by the way we loose the guarantee..
I have a Vodafone V1605 and it comes in English lenguage.
I want to upgrade to a Spanish ROM (hopely the last ROM) but I don't now how to do it or where to find the correct executable ROM file.
My PDA Phone is SIM Free and I'm affraid if the new ROM could change it, Is it possible?

Currently Vodafone Spain has not released any rom upgrade yet, and there's no other ROM upgrade available in spanish.

Perhaps they haven't any published ROM, but It may be anyone becouse Vodafone sell this PDA Phone here in Spain.
I tryed to upgrade with an i-Mate spanish ROM (JAM_ESP_11203_159_11210_ship.exe) but an error occurs. Something like "Wrong country".
How can I solve this problem?
In addition, the bluetoth has not the "OBEX" service, so I can't send any stored item. Could this function be 'unlocked'?

I know, I'm Spanish too, but vodafone Spain has still not published ROM upgrades. VF Spain ROM upgrades will come in the future I guess....

BE CAREFUL!!! You were trying to flash a Jam ROM, imate Jam is HTC Wizard, not HTC Hermes, you should flash "JasJam" ROMs but not "Jam" ROMs. Luckily it did not flash, otherwise you could have bricked your unit!
For now just be patient, when a ROM upgrade is available in Spanish we will publish it on the shipped ROMs wiki page.

Can some one please advice me how to get back to the original T-Mobile rom after flashing Hard SPL?
Some time ago I flashed my Raphael to the Romeo Rom. This was because I could not get a normal GPS fix. Now when I look at the T-Mobile.nl website I can see a new downloadable official Rom. I want to try ths rom, but in order to try this Rom I need to remove the Hard-SPL.
I tried to flash my T-Mobile MDA IV to the original T-Mobile rom but the program gives an error. (need Soft SPL?)
So can some one advice me how to remove the hard-SPL so I can flash my raphael to the original T-Mobile Rom?
Hope that someone can help me..

Flash your shipped ROM as usual. I f u hv any problem, unpack the exe, get the *.nbh file & put together with ruu wrapper. flash as usual or flash from SD if u still hv trouble. (must rename the *.nbh to RAPHIMG.nbh put in SD root & put device in bootloader > follow on screen)
no need to remove HardSPL.

I know that this might not be the richt forum, but still I would like to ask if there is ANY rom on which the Raphael hasn't got GPS problems. It is driving me CRAZY! I need to go on holliday next weekend, and would like to use my Raphael i.c.w. Tomtom.
I'm using the .28 radio Rom, but every time I want to use tomtom I need to soft reset my device, run the HTC GPS tool (clear memory) to get a fix. and after that tomtom gets a fix after several minutes.
This means that when I want to use tomtom, I need to do the above steps, which takes about 10 minutes. VERY Anoying!
Please advice...

I'm running ROMeOS2 v1.51, and have no issues with GPS at all, not even a lag. I guess a rom would not improve the GPS isues though.
What TomTom are you using?
Does Google maps work with gps?
How is TT installed (Card or internal)?
What are your GPS settings (built-in or NIMEA?)
Did you try the GPS improvement CAB from this forum?
If all is as it should be, you will probably have to send the phone back for warrantee, and then you need to undo the Hard SPL, and flash the rom on T-Mobiles site.
Undoing the Hard SPL is described in the SPL topic.

I had several problems with the GPS in the past. So after try all kind of tweaks I give back the phone to be fix. In 2 week they returned the phone with a complet new board ( new IMEI and new MAC). Now the GPS is working normaly. I think some phones have some hardware failure from factury.
gps problem is solved !!
from the beginning i wasn't able to use gps / tomtom. even not with the original t-mobile rom.
now after flashing the Romeos 1.51 i'm getting a gps fix after 30 sec !! this for 2 day' now!
so im now a happy raphael user, working with a very stable Rom.

I´ll have to send in a MDA Vario IV for repair and afaik only t-mobile.at offers a raphael rom.
I don´t care which build it is, I´d just like to have any official german t-mobile rom for the raphael (Vario IV).
