Manila 2.5 Build 1922 OEM Packages,trow this in your kitchen OEM folder and cook.
XIP Porting GUIDE
1.Copy paste your XIPPORT folder somewere on your computer.
2.Delete the xip.bin from your XIPPORT root(since were going to use the new xip.bin
3.Place the new device xip.bin in the root of XIPPORT
4.Now make a new folder in XIPPORT root name it w/e you want, after that copy these files into it pkgcommon.dll and xipport.exe
5.Now copy the xip.bin you got from Da_G package into the new folder you just created
6.Now go to XIPPORT root and execute xipport.exe, and press dump xip, and then make packages, and close it.
7.Now go to the folder you made in the XIPPORT.exe, were the xip.bin you got from da_G package is, and execute xipport.exe and then make packages, then close it.
8.Now in that very same folder go to OUT/FILES and copy paste MSXIPKERNEL folder to XIPPORT/OUT/FILES(Delete the MSXIPKERNEL thats in there first)
9.Now go to XIPPORT/NEWLY CREATED FOLDER/OUT/MODULES and copy paste MSXIPKERNEL folder to XIPPORT/OUT/MODULES(Delete the MSXIPKERNEL thats in there first)
10.After you have done all this go back to XIPPORT root execute xipport.exe and click undo
11.Now you should have a successfully ported XIP, which is the OUT folder in XIPPORT root, you can compress it using rar and name it 23529 out.rar its just for refrence atleast thats why i do, after this copy paste your newly ported xip into your Kitchens XIPPORT root, and then extract the OUT folder to the root of your kitchen XIPPORT folder, and cook your rom =]

If you want to get the acer s200 russian apps, you need to dump any of the russian extrom.bins, today il be working on the extrom.bin guide, also if you want a russian rom you need to download da_g rollout package and grap your self all the russian language files along with dumping a leo russian rom if you want to have manila in russian as well, then place the respective language modules in SYS/OEM, ohh and also the russian oem lang from the russian acer s200 rom that you dump, im not going to be specific on these SYS/OEM sorting procedure's, as there are tons of guides out there that explain this in rich detail, for example this website by mr.makk techparaiso.com is a great website with tons of rom cooking guides which help me learn a lot, so anyways il post the extrom.bin guide today i hope.

Thanks mate,.
the problem is where you get "your diskimage_ver.nb0" ?????? you will have to use an "already built" diskimage_ver.nb0 (like jiggs') and modify his rom, you can not create your own rom with another build like 5.2.1933 or else, I was trying to make a new rom from a new build but I wasn't successfull. Jiggs told me to read the wiki, but maybe I didn't do my homework so well.

It shouldn't be any problem mate,.
You could use any diskimage_ver.nb0 to dump,.
look at my new ROM (O2 Atom WM6 Premium), it was dumped from jiggs WM6 AKU 0.7a,.
Just use mine mate, (from O2 Atom WM6 Premium), its dumpable,.
@Ckaidi
Exactly , although i have no way near the knowledge required to make 1 but ...i just did a quick background check on you and figured out that you hv been cooking for a while now....so yea i understand wat you lookin at..
This is really different from what we used to cook for xda 2. How I wish cooking for an atom is as easy as cooking for an xda 2.
Anyway, good luck to all who would like to attempt cooking their own ROM. I'll just look at those available in here and copy those that I think will fit me best.
BTW, I hope somebody can teach me how to change the splash images. I would like to replace them with pictures of my family.
^welcomehead.96.png = splash image..

I know it,I know that your diskimage_ver.nb0 is dumpable (don't you see the rom I built pReDrT ?)
what I want to say is , you can not build your own diskimage_ver.nb0 based on a new build (for example 5.2.1933, the newest build), what you do is dumping a built diskimage_ver.nb0 from jiggs (the original one) which's build is 5.2.1908, don't you see that ???????
To build a new rom with a new build, it costs an arm and a leg, so much time spends on it. It's not easy as you said,but I really appreciate what you share here.

Yes , the files go to windows directory automatically
First download Ervius Packages Creator..
..say you want to include TCPMP in your ROM , You first need to Unzip all the files that TCPMP installs to a folder ..now open Ervius Packages Creator..navigate to folder .add a shortcut (option in the packages software..)
and click create package..now copy the folder to the OEM folder and build ROM..
Hope you get the idea..
yes i get the idea..what if i want to install it in program files folder? what should i do?
sorry for making ask again..i want to know it so that i can help you guys too..
thanks a lot..
-=[serialzs]=-
I dont know that ....sorry...
You can obviously create Custom Cabs and run put em in extended ROM for installing in program files..
You can search for OEM packages on the site.. u ll find plenty...
I am still learning so do pass on the knowledge..
Going a bit OT - Are you the one who made the DSU installed for ROM installation??

you will specify it in initflashfiles.dat, but you will have a double copy. The purpose of putting it to ROM is to have all the applications you need and consume less persistent storage vis-a-vis installing the cabs after a hardreset. However, having too many files in \windows will cause your system to lag; so, this is the purpose of utilizing the extended ROM wherein the skin files (like wireless manager / htc home / mediaplus) can be placed in the extended ROM and the program files in \windows.

To add a new appz, you have to make your appz (appz that you would like to have as a default appz) as an OEM,.
How do we make an OEM? i am working on it, i'll post it here soon,.
all the files there (inside SYS and OEM folder) will go to windows directory, then if you would like to move something to program files directory, you have to make an "initflashfiles.txt",. (usually for your OEM)
for example,
Directory("\Windows\StartUp"):-File("coldinit.lnk","\Windows\coldinit.lnk")
----- > it means that you copy file "coldinit.lnk" to \windows\startup folder,.
hope that help you,.

It wont go anywhere, as long as we dont make a "initflashfiles.txt" for our apps (that have been changed to OEM), the shorcut of the apps wont go anywhere, it still in windows folder, (so, it wont be displayed in the main menu)

Ow i see,. sorry missunderstanding,.
Yep, absolutely you could, i am working a new ROM with upgrade of XIP to 5.2.1933 at the moment, if it success, i'll update the thread,.
but it havent finished, so the thread just till extracting and repacking,.
Gud luck,.
Well, now that my Raphael is finally coming to me, i'm going to put my attention here...
Like in the Kaiser forum, this is a team work with JugglerLKR.
First of all, give thanks to all ppl that contribute to this kitchen (read first post), and all of you that help to make better with your feedback and suggestions...
This is a adaptation from KaiserKitchen to Diamond and Raphael. So don't wait an spectacular GUI, is as simple as the first version, a script with the tools needed in a folder. This way we can upgrade individual tool when needed...
This is the v0.6 (second version for Raphael). I have rewrited the script in a single file starting with the Alex's modification over the original batch files from version v0.3 for Kaiser. (many thanks Alex's for his works over the original script...)
UPDATE: Kitchen upgrade to resolv issues with reconstruction process. Now version 0.61 works fine.
UPDATE2: Kitchen upgrade to make a better extraction process. Now the XIP part is taked out of imgfs part before cook. Tested and verified to work fine with a shipped ROM and with a reconstructed one. Modified the tool IMGFSFROMDUMP.EXE to allow more than 128Mb imgfs partition size. Added XVI32 application to edit the NBH file and modify the PagePool according this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=430345. Version 0.62 uploaded.
The kitchen have three basic steps, first you need extract a base ROM to modify. Second you need to modify the extracted content (easy cause is package organized). Third you need to cook the modifications you did. The result of the whole process is a NBH file you can flash with RaphaelCustomRUU (included in the ROM). Of course you need the HardSPL before do this (not indluded in the ROM, you can get here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410150)
Now all functions are in one menu...
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The first option allows to extract the XIP and OS content from a ROM (shipped or dumped) and make packages to make easy the next step...
Next image show the extraction menu with shipped and dumped ROM
Once you get the content extracted, you will have a set of folders inside the kitchen like the next image...
OEM folder have the OEM part of the OS. ROM folder have the original OS.NB file and XIP extracted part. And SYS file have the SYS part of the OS.
Next step is to cook the ROM after you have introduced the modifications to the future ROM. Next imagen shows the cook menu when you can choose Bepe's BuildOS or Ervius one.
Once you have finished with the cook step, you can flash the NBH file you will have in the kitchen folder named RUU_Signed.NBH.
In the (m) More Options menu you have the cooking process step by step if you want to take more control over the process...
This are basics steps, so feel free to make any recomendation, suggestion or any other question related to the kitchen that allow us to make it better.

thanx TehPenguin!
remember, you need to flash developer edition unsigned HardSPL first:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410150
p.s.: please test this kitchen on real devices and leave some feedback
p.p.s.: customruu.exe in this kitchen reported false positive by some anitviruses
thanx mrvanx & walshieau for reporting it.
yes, though custom RUU "should" be fine
please test updated Raphael kitchen on real devices and leave some feedback. but remember, that you need unsigned developer edition HardSPL - look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410150
and some base rom here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410305
The customRUU in this kitchen MIGHT show up in AVG as a trojan dropper. Got assurance it is ok however.
Pain in the arse is you gotta disable AVG if you wanna run it, URGH!
i can also confirm and backup MrVanx! the CustomRUU "drops" the files outside of the exe, which can be seen as a Trojan File Dropper for people using AVG.
thanx, updated first post (i don't use avg)
is this a ROM of Raphael or just RUU.thanx

Its a ROM Kitchen, to help develop ROMs. You need a ROM build like the ones posted here or a dump of your current ROM to make it work.

small request for the kitchen guru's...
Hi All,
I'm a kaiser user who will be switching to the raphael!!
I used to do some amateur cooking for my kaiser. Just some finetuning of the roms for my personal taste...
I used Alex's kitchen to do so:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde...ROM Kitchen Tutorial#Gatheringx20.Ingredients
In this kitchen there is a package-tool and also some other small but easy tools like a embedded pagepool changer.
When you use the kitchen for cooking it uses all these tools one by one.
A real heaven for nOOp's like me....
Is it possible to edit this kitchen for raphael to do the same things like the package tool and so on?
Thanks in advance.....
Now waiting for that raphael (touch pro)

I sinned, so if any one else gets a stock NL Device don't forget to Dump it first.
Already playing with this kitchen and extracted rom but luckily nothing to flash on.
Maybe it's also a good idea to start an OEM Repository fairly early on so that it is set up and well known, from start.
I know it's not completely on Topic, but it's good that there's a little "Stilte voor de Storm" (Silence before the storm) moment where most users taking peaks here, are mostly already familiar with XDA.

Noonski which manual for dumping a ROM is the best to use. I'm a noob here but want to learn the tricks of the trade. I've seen many manuals but i don't know which one to choose from.
I've been using this kitchen to play around with ROMs etc, and have found the RomMaster included has problems dumping some Raphael XIPs. I replaced it with an alternative RomMaster, but thought I'd say here so people know...

Yep the first go i had with the kitchen I found issues with the XIP, everything else was fine.
try it at your own risk
Rom Kitchen Base Sendspace, Rapidshare
you need download the same build DIO file & SYS file, put the DIO to "Rom" folder and SYS into the Kitchen, you can find the DIO file HERE
CAREFUL, if you not very understand how to cook the rom, it may brick your device
23025 SYS Sendspace, Rapidshare
21921 SYS+XIP Sendspace, Rapidshare
23004 SYS+XIPSendspace, Rapidshare
23001 SYS Sendspace, Rapidshare

You can't wait the new build? Try Make Rom Kitchen yourself.
the first thing: sorry for my bad English, i hope you can understand what i said
Tools:
My Kitchen
XipPorterEx Sendspace, Rapidshare - port new xip
Scoter Kitchen - port the new xip to AL1.DIO
--port new xip for Atom Life--
download new xip (search in internet, any device (e.g Kasier 23001 xip.bin) and rename it to xip.bin, put into XipPorterEx\MyTools\Xip.bin_new Folder
your old Atom Life xip (e.g 21815) and put into Xip.bin_old Folder (that i have include in the zip file)
launch the XipporterEx.exe
don't select the Change PP to Mb....., unless you want to change the pagepool size.
click "Port IT!!!" and wait, that's all, you can find your xip in the "xip.bin_ported" folder
--port new xip to AL1.DIO---
install Scoter Kitchen, put the xip_port.bin (done at above, e.g 23001) into the folder
Scoter Kitchen\Utilities\TOOS\SPRX tools
and put the my old AL1.DIO (e.g build 21815) to the same folder
launch the "Command Prompt", type
msflshtool AL1.DIO -r xip_port.bin -p 1
click enter, if every ok, you can see the message successful port to the AL1.DIO
(if you not use my DIO file, you need to check the position of xip, cause i found some xip is in part 0, so the number must change to 0,
and "xip_port.bin" is the name of the xip, so that if your xip is name in 23001xip.bin, change the "xip_port.bin" to "23001xip.bin")
now you can test your rom, after flash you can check in Settings\About
you can see the CE OS 5.2.23001 (Build 21815.....
i alway do this, cause sometimes have problem at the xip, and make the device can't boot, so i can fix the xip in this stage
--Build the new Rom--
put the new AL1.DIO (with the new build xip, done at above) to the Kitchen\ROM folder
download new SYS (96 dpi and any language you want to use)
you can find here
replace the .ROM & .VM folder (attachment) in SYS folder
if you have other OEM software, put all into the Kitchen\OEM folder
launch mc.cmd
after press key to continue, a popup window come, choose what oem software you want to install, click play button, when done, close window, then process will continue and
wait it done!
Enjoy!!
i keep this
one again
I wanna beat you, dude. Great release!

Tips for 21921 (only)
you can edit the file "StartMenu_GridScene...............cpr" that in the folder
SYS\Base_Lang_0409_DPI_96_RESH_240_RESV_320
set the
PaginatedScrolling="FALSE" <---- in StartMenu you can one scroll to the top or bottom
i like that
hi Chriscsh,
thank's for the kitchen ..
I have tried the 23004 kitchen, but always stop on the OEM 'RegTweaks' section :
'can not find [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskBar]'
after re-checking with the 23001 registry it's should be :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Taskbar]
after edit that part; I have success building new 23004 rom by myself ...
and will tried the rom later ....
has been flashing to the device and check the OS version is already 23004 ...
but If i want to configure GPRS connection by using this sequence ( "Setting / Connections / Connections" ) on "task" menu there is no options / menu available ...
have tried more then 3 rebuild the rom dan reflashing but the reswult is the same ...
any guidence or pointer regarding this issue ?
Greetings Chris! Thanks for kitchen. . I have success building new 21921 rom. Edit please OEM\Reg Tweks\e5d615de-21b1-4b55-b97f-57e485a7b84a.rgu \[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Driver\SDCARD\ClientDrivers\Class\MMS_Class]

finally I found the solution ... I have to add manually 'My ISP' and 'my connection/modem' via the second tab ..( 'Advance' tab) .. and now I running on 23016 ..
but there is another problem ... ...
I cannot install cab directly on the sdcard ......
----
oops still no internet connection ...
Hi,
sorry but my English is not very good.
I configured the kitchen for our phone.
The kitchen is ready to create a Rom and it include:
SYS 23569 En/It
XIP 23568
OEM 3.003c En/It
some EXT package for example
ACER_EUU (includes the latest patch for GPS)
I added these tools:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Build extrom.bin:
insert your cab files in the EXTROM folder;
click on Build extrom.bin;
look inside the RELEASE folder.
Note: I wrote a small program that automatically creates the file CABPIACB.pil according to these rules:
the file extension is not displayed during the installation process;
the character underscore is replaced by space (the space character in the file name is not allowed by the acer's installation program);
you can sort the files by entering the prefix 0_, 1_, 2_ .... 9_, a_, b_ ... z_. For example:
Dump Acer_S200.amf:
insert your Acer_S200.amf (with this exact name) in ROM folder;
click on Dump Acer_S200.amf;
look inside the DUMP\AMF folder.
Dump extrom.bin:
put your extrom.bin (with this exact name) in ROM folder;
click on Dump extrom.bin;
look inside the DUMP\EXTROM folder.
Dump flash.bin:
insert your flash.bin (with this exact name) in ROM folder;
click on Dump flash.bin;
look inside the DUMP\FLASH folder.
Instructions for cooking:
install OSBuilderSetup.msi
to start the kitchen open the file OSBuilder.osb
select your language (0409 = en, 0410 = it)
mark / unmark ext package
click on start button (play)
wait...
look inside the RELEASE folder
XIP porting:
very simple, change only these folders:
- ROM\XIP\MSXIPKernel;
- ROM\XIP\MSXIPKernelLTK.
Download:
- OSBuilder Setup v1.0.94
- Kitchen
Much more information can be found in the original thread.
Note:
- I'm not sure if my configuration is the best but for me it works very well.
- For this kitchen files with .dsm extension (not used in Rafyvitto's kitchen) are very important. Very useful is the command DSM autocorrection.
Thanks to:
- Barin for this kitchen and for helping me to configure it;
- Rafyvitto for the first kitchen;
- Alexx~ for helping me to configure this kitchen;
- bepe, Weisun, Anper, Stark Wong, DimICE for their tools.
Good cooking
emm...
But the download link just shows 404 for me...
But, seems that just a few tools could be enough to cook a good rom for a good cook
Understanding the process could be more easier to handle for advance levels lol
for me too, what kind of improvment can we get compared to the rafy kitchen? a faster cooking?

I think GUI kitchen could well organize the packages for multi ROM...
It seems that the advance controls could be more easier to handle than form CLi

Can you give us the kitchen you mentioned? I'd like to try it.
Thank you.
It is a very good tool, and handles module reallocation better than any other kitchen that I've seen to date. Also has many features not found in any other kitchen. It is a superior tool, and in my opinion builds superior roms. Barin is supporting the tools well, and has great updates with additional features on the horizon, including the multi-build feature. You can download the tools, including the installer from my kitchen here, which includes everything except sys and oem, but keep in mind that I build for a HTC device, and so have it set to build to .nbh -- you may need to change settings for your device:

I don't know.
You can ask at the developer.
Flashed but like all the first times, I get some issues, windows boot no problem, today screen, no problem, but the settings menu is half missing and sense does'nt launch, I think there is a problem with my sys but don't know why
edit: I copy/paste my SYs a second time and now, there isn't corrupt modules, the modules appears to be very sensitives when I move them
Sorry, my English is not good! I want to say is that great kitchen, it also gives me great inspiration, if you interested, we will bring you from China Kitchen
