I just ordered a 2680mAh battery from ebay, has anyone tried one this size?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...674706&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_1742wt_940
i have the mugen 3900mah battery and i usually end the day with 30% left, or i drain it completley. idk how people go days with it
my battery will last me from about 6am to about 9pm, so hopefully this one ca last me 2 days, or i can just use my phone heavily and not worry about it dieing in the middle of the day. how much did that battery cost you, this one was the biggest one i could find.
$80 and its the biggest one so far
mine GT-B5512 battery gives 1-half days backup that is pretty fine for me.
Just wondering if anyone is still using their phone???

The official extended battery. Is the one sold in Verizon. Made by HTC.
Im a power hungry person and this battery goes 2 days with background data on!
i tried the official htc/verizon extended battery but it took twice as long to charge it and only lasted about an hour longer then the original. i ended up taking it back for a refund.
and unlike most people who use their phone for calls/txts & will leave it sitting around for long hours, i do not do that. i'm constantly either browsing the web, watching a video, or streaming music. the only time i don't have the phone doing something is when i'm sleeping.
i usually have to charge my phone 2- 3 times a day.
I purchased the official HTC extended battery and it is WELL worth the money! With HEAVY use it will easily get you through a day. With moderate use, 2 days for sure. With light use it might get you 3-4.
I unplugged my phone yesterday morning at about 7:30-8 in the morning and right now and 4:13 p.m. on Wednesday I still have 29%!

There is no way! The extended battery EASSSILLLY lasts twice as long. You must have had a rogue app, widget, or ROM.
I use the 2750 HTC as well and the thing is hard to to drain in a day. You will not be disappointed.

i had it when i had my 1st Thunderbolt, it was stock(never rooted it), no widgets(used launcher pro), already knew about all the battery saving tips & had watchdog on making sure nothing was eating up cpu.
i have not tried an extended on a rooted phone though so perhaps i can give it a go again.

OEM HTC 2750, get a constant 35+ hours out of it.
Simply put, I use my phone... ALL THE TIME. I can barely make my battery last 4 hours with all the WIFI and YouTube and texting.
This stock battery just isn't enough. Anyone have a recommendation for the battery with the longest life?
Ofc at a reasonable price.

I'm sure you can find it elsewhere cheaper.
FYI all the 'extended batteries' that are the same size as stock suck.
It isn't size I want. Photon is slim as it is. I don't mind adding a few mm of thickness for a boss battery

The TREXCELL 3500 is an excellent battery that'll last all day w/moderate to heavy use.
Can't beat the price, approx. $20-$25,might find them even cheaper on eBay or AMAZON right now, saw it for $15 on one of those sites.

I'm about to post my review for this battery.
I have been using a seidio innocell battery on my photon for the last 3 months. Let me first tell you that I watch a lot of videos on my phone. The 3g is on constantly. Or Wi-Fi. The average times for discharge of battery from 100% to 0% is 16 hrs. Also I don't let my battery go below 5%. So, from personal experience I can say that this is a great battery. But it's a bit expensive. You could try other brands like Hyperion which are cheaper.

I can recommend Hyperion's 3500 mAh batteries, they work great. I have two simply because I may not be able to charge my phone everyday. I'm a very heavy user and never any access to wifi. Each battery can get me through most of a day. I spend my entire day stressing the heck out of my phone. During the few hours going to work, being at work and going home or to another job.

Good to know about the hyperion batteries. Was originally thinking of buying them, but the few reviews that I read were not totally positive. So opted for seidio, which is a little more expensive than hyperion.
How is the quality of the back cover that is provided along with the battery?

So since yesterday, my seidio battery has been acting very strange. While charging it goes from 50% to 100% in a flash and while discharging also, the same thing happens. Can any once suggest any remedies?

This is a 1950 mAh battery that I have been using for over a month and it works well. : http://www.ebay.com/itm/B055-New-1950mAh-Battery-Sony-Ericsson-BST-41-Xperia-X10-/180851100743

Bought the 2600mah extended battery for X10 from Batterybay(.)net
light usage it actually goes 4 days and heavy usage in general it's 3 days or less, most usually 2
Because of the large screen(maybe?) reading manga or looking at a pic for a few hours, or basically just keeping screen on for a few hours drains it a lot, I recall reading manga for hours then it reduced to just 2 days or less but overall Im really satisfied this battery even if the extra thickness is quite compromise in looks
Thank you guys
I bought 2 batteries and a charger for under 10$ off eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-X-BST-41-...156309?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3f18642695
I wasn't expecting much but these are working great. I keep one on the charger and switch when I need to. They seem to be exactly like the original... although I'm pretty sure they aren't but so far they are lasting as long as the original battery.
For under 10$ they are definitely worth a try IMHO
If you have a look at a mobile outlet or major store you can usually find a section with outdated accessories, that's where I found mine. And as a side note, the non official batteris don't last as long as you may think. I hade a 3200mah battery (some no-name brand) that only lasted a few hours longer that the original. Buying a good quality battery with a larger capacity just isn't cost effective.
I was looking around spare battery for my new Note 3 and found some of the same size as original. I had one of those mpj batteries for my previous S3. It probably exaggerate their specs, but still managed to squeeze several hundred more mah and worked good even five months later. Much better than my OEM one out of amazon. Thought it was still worth a roll of the dice to go back to a replacement battery from them. Just received mine yesterday, didn’t measure how much longer but I assume it lasts me 1-2 hrs more before it died.
Edit: I think the battery is still be good condition.
Cheers
ive actually ordered one of these with the added NFC, i hope it goes well. will post here specs also.

Do a full review please. I am also thinking about buying it.
I normally get 5-6 hours of on screen time with stock battery at 60% brightness.
Would it be real? I mean 4500mah in the same size?

It probably adds 10% amount of the new stock battery, but still think it is a good replacement:cyclops:impressive for 20 bucks.
Mine arrived today, its the same size and backcase fits on fine. Im currently charging it up. it came with 57% charge but so far, a episode of the walking dead (40 mins) took 8% battery with full brightness.

That sounds not bad
After a night of full charge, i took it off and battery drained 4% in 2 mins 30 seconds. Only had wifi of and did not do anything heavy other than check email. Not good! ill see how i go through out the day,.
Im hoping this will be sorted after a few recharge cycles etc..but i may have to have the stock battery as a backup!
My sister ordered one and it arrived few days ago. Screen on 38% and at 10 hrs she was still at 70% left.
If anyone has this battery or any extended battery please download gsam in the market it will give you the exact voltage of your battery for example see picture. . This is my stock Battery it's low because my phone currently needs a charge but I would imagine that of someone had an extended battery that was fully charge it would give you the accurate mah so we can see what batteries are legit on ebay and amazon and share with our fellow xda users

What what I recall, with smartphone batteries, the first 15% will always discharge faster. remember, percentage isn't rate.

Here.Google note 3 mpj battery would lead you to an official website
Bought this and have been using it about 2 weeks now.
$9.99 when I bought it...
Seller advertises 3000mah.
Battery itself says it is 3500mah.
I have found it to last about 2-5 hours than the OEM battery. It's more than 3000mah for sure. Even at 29.99 now I would be happy with paying that for the results I got having two batteries.
Base info for next comment:
Take phone of charger at 6am, 5 days a week.
OEM battery would get me through a day, all night in quiet mode and till about 1pm the next day.
One RealWay battery gets me through 2 full work days and dies while I sleep heading into the third day.
I use Greenify and had that setup for about 5 weeks since i got the phone. I changed nothing but the battery I was using.
Any adverse effects from using this battery? Phone getting hot?

Nothing yet.
I would go with only the FACTORY OEM battery for any phone.
I bought this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NBNP7QK
Its Genuine and lasts just as long as my stock battery. No heating issues at all.
