Hey Guys,
Found a great app for the 2010 World cup over at:
greendoorapps.com
Worth a look on all WVGA devices, diamond 2 or HD2
Gave my friends the fright of their lives
what makes it so great?
Sorry OP, passing an annoying vuvuzela soundmaker app for a WC2010 app is blasphemy!
I found one, but it's in some combination of Chinese and German... If anyone can figure out where the laguage files are it would be great!
As anoying as it might be to some...
You should be part of a group... or around at the moment in South Africa to know...
It is a LOT of fun!
World Cup is Going to Rock... can't wait to watch the first game!
They now posted a cool Anchor Man App...
funny

So, last year while Inter Milan was in the US, I went to see their all 3 games against Club America, Chelsea and AC Milan. All around me people with the annoying vuvuzelas, all blowing them, not to mention vendors selling them!
See, not having a soccer culture, or any culture at all for that matter, the US adopts whatever seems cool and interesting, prime examples of which are the famous drinking days of St Patty's, Cinco de Mayo (Cinco de Drinko) and Oktoberfest. And since there is absolutely NO soccer culture whatsoever, they'll adopt whatever too... and the stupid vuvuzelas are no exception. Sorry but their usefulness in a game is as necessary as a crotch protective cup is for Superman.
They dropped the price
Heya...
I see they dropped the price....
Worth the buy now...
Going to get myself a copy too
Recommended South Africa 2010 World Cup app
Searching at different places, I found a FREE South Africa 2010 World Cup application called, of course, "World Cup 2010".
In my opinion, this applications has all necessary features: nice and clean interface, fixtures and news and scores that can be updated.
According to the author, the application is free because is a "proof of concept", that uses Windows Phone 7 panoramic UI.
It has a minor problem, because left-right swift only works at the top of the application, but everything else is working perfectly on my HTC TD2.

Downloaded it and it was succesfull. Very nice application. I'm using a HTC Elfin so my layout is a little bit screwed ( small side at the border showing while it shouldn't ).
But a must for every WK lover.
( had to remove the link in the quote due to being a new user )
Not sure if anyone uses this app on a regular basis as I do, but there are some really cool added features coming in the premium version. Syncing and such.
Anyhow, right now they are offering the new premium app for $4.99 on Amazon for life where as after tomorrow, the fee will be $1.99 a month. Seems like a great deal to get it now. I can also say the syncing between phones works great. Mine and my wife's can share the grocery list with no problem.

What is the monthly fee for multiple users?
Looks like a pretty good deal for a lifetime subscription, but the Amazon site indicates a small monthly fee to add users (like my wife?) to the app.
Any idea what that fee would be? I'm currently using OurGroceries (with ads). The real-time updating is the important thing for me on the grocery list -- without it, it's really not worth buying.
Guess I'm old fashioned, but paper and pen works for us, and in the grand scheme of life, some things need to be left that way! The day I sync a grocery list is the day I lose my phone, and TV remote to a younger generation.

I bought it on both phones so that I had the license on both. Works great. My wife made me a few lists already.

LOL....yea, but I try to keep a better handle on my phone than on a paper list. I would lose the list. At least if you lose your phone, you can call it and find it.
OurGroceries works well and free.

Check out Cozi it works cross platform and can handle tasks and calendars as well as lists and there is an ad supported version.
If only I could get my wife to actually use it...

Anyone try this application on their Atrix? It looks very cool. While I seem to be able to purchase it (haven't tried) I'm concerned about compatibility.
Works great on the atrix. Graphics look awesome, game is hard though. It was free yesterday on the amazon market, so you just missed it.
yeap cool game works on mine. killed lot time on plane ride.
EDIT: it seems to be a very nice game. I'm gonna try it sometime =D
My daughter was playing with a NT at the local tech store last weekend and discovered that drawing program that is bundeled with it. She loves it and told me if I put it on my Galaxy Tab I would never get it back.
Who makes that software and what is it called? Where can I find it?

It's called Drawing Pad by Murtha Design Inc., however im about positive it is Nook store exclusive, though i am not sure. Hope this helps a little.
It's on the Amazon market. 1.99
Interestingly enough, it's the free app of the day on the Amazon App Market.
That's my idea of pricing. Thanks for the tip.
it's free on amazon today
Just a heads up. On Amazon appstore quickoffice pro is 10 bucks off today

Does this support SPen as far as writing signatures?
Is it a better office app compared to Polaris Office that came with the phone? What are the differences?
I was a quickoffice pro user on my captivated, and installed it on my note as soon as i got it. I had a doc that quickoffice couldn't open, so i tried polaris, and haven't really gone back since. I haven't selected a default yet, so i always get prompted as to which should be used, and lately it has always been polaris.

I got Quick Office Pro HD and Documents to go when they were free. I used to like Documents To Go but Quick Office just had a very nice update. I really recommend it for for free but only for tablet. I use it on my touchpad but I don't feel like they work as well on the Note.
I had QuickOffice Pro the day I purchased my Note. I got it for free. I prefer it to Polaris Office. I also used QuickOffice on my HTC EVO 3D.
