Actually, I thought so too so I bought a philips (i-phone compatible) headset. Now it is extremely buggy, for example: if I talk on the phone and wants to switch to headset - the calls end and the music starts playing
I guess its not that compatible after all...
anyone try the Beats by Dr Dre with mic?
don't mean to thread jack, but its pointless to make a new thread just for this...
What is this?
i did tried a handsfree of SE x1, i got that from my friend
the mic was not working...
and earphones work for sure...
besides, all iphone's handsfree should not be working on Liquid..
don't try..

I have the Plantronics 510 paired with my TyTN and my CU500 at the same time and it works VERY well together and everyone can hear me just fine (except for the windy times). I am on my 3rd BT Headset and and decided to go back to my 510.
I also have a Stero BT Headset that works very well for stereo on both phones (but not at the same time, dangit).
just a thought.
Thanks
Thanks for your concern . really appreciate it.
Hi2All!
As subject says,is there (on the market)any solution for Qtek 9090 alternative wired headset,(coz original died)..or stereo bluetooth headset, but in both cases,(beside mp3 listening),microphone must B working..with all call/reply functions..
Cheers!
btw,yes..I do a search, but there is a lot of stuff from few years ago..
hi and welcome to the forum.
in fact, we had a headset and storage card discussion yesterday.
afaik there is no fully working alternative wired handsfree. some nokia headsets also have 2.5mm plugs, but with another connector layout (that's what's to be found in the older threads).
if you don't find a replacement original handsfree you can also use stereo bluetooth handsfrees over the a2dp standard. for that, your rom must support a2dp of course. i use a callstel bh19, which is great. it looks like a normal mono headset (candybar layout, no stupid receivers flapping around or hanging around the neck) and you can plug in a 2nd earphone, which comes with it and provides full bluetooth 2.0 a2dp with edr (much more, than the blueangel is capable of unfortunately). sorry, i can only provide a german link:
http://www.pearl.de/a-HPM3478-8909.shtml
and yes, it actually cost 3.90eur once, but now it's back to 30.
alternatively, i hear good things about jabra handsfrees in a certain price range >70eur are really good.

Nevertheless, just asked google translate for help..all stuff is bright
That'll B a high point,for travelers like me.BT headset are like a charm..I like it.Therefore,I must find appropriate cooked(or baked) WM with integrated a2dp support.I hope,thing will work.
10x4support!
I recently bought some skullcandy 50/50 eabuds (free with some store credit) and found out they had an inline mic. Now i realize that they are specifically compatible with the iphone and iOS, but upon plugging them into my Eris (xtrSense 4.6) they are recognized as a headset device. Unfortunately I cannot get them to work as a headset. If i forced myself to switch to a Froyo ROM (I cannot find one I like lol) would there be any difference (better microphone support?) or anyone that has other skullcandy headphones with microphones, do you have any problems? Sorry for the poorly worded question, Im just not sure how to ask this. Thanks, Ryan
Anyone tried Klipsch Image S4i, Bose - MIE2 mobile headset, or Beats By Dr. Dre - Monster Solo High-Definition Over-the-Ear Headphones with ControlTalk? (I got the titles off Best Buy). I hear a lot of the more expensive headsets have trouble with phones that are not apple brand. Anyone own any of these and use it with the vibrant? I am running latest axura rom with voodoo enabled, if that matters. Thanks in advance!
you might get more answers in the accessories section?
ah thanks for the suggestion
Hi Everyone,

The "LG Tone - HBS-700" are fantastic and do everything perfectly with my SGP 5.0.
I can't recommend them strongly enough.
You can buy a Jabra Clipper and use the headphones of your choice.
The Samsung HS3000 Clipon is available at Amazon, It comes with an above average set of ear buds, but you may substitute your own.

Most BT headsets are compatible. You can always return them if you don't like them.

As said above, most bluetooth handsets are compatible, just make sure your using the gingerbread FW on your player as the ICS/JB FW have no bluetooth and there isnt a fix yet (i think)
Avantalk goes fine
I enjoy my Galaxy player 4.0 with my Avantalk Jogger bluetooth headset and it goes fine. The only detail is that the realplayer app won't recognize the back/forward buttons, but that's all. In my opinion these wireless earphones sound pretty well, as good as the nokia's. Although this tablets have 3.0 BT, these can pair with these 2.0 headsets (or whatever) automatically.
In short, the Jogger plays cool xD
With my player I used LG HBS-700 BT headset and the controls worked great for back/forward etc etc.
The only thing I couldn't do was connect a BT keyboard no matter how many different ones I tried out while other people with the same player could connect keyboards without issue.

Should be any normal headphones
Any Bluetooth 3.0 Headphones should work, you don't really have to custom make them for different devices.
