You may also delete all dirs & files in "My Documents".
Keylock is activated by default. If the Niki is in standby or when using S2U2 wakeup is only possible pressing powerbutton. To solve this you can use following regkey:

This is why on Fooprints tab nothing happens. Just install Fooprint software for using fooprints.
Is it possible to fullscreen Manila? I had never seen it fullscreen
Full screen manilla = no!
Also it wouldn't make sense (how to access startmenu etc.).
In the meanwhile I have installed "Diamond Dialer Skin White". Maybe you could integrate a nicer dialer directly to the ROM as last todo.
BTW I used the ROM since release. All is working fine, except Bluetooth (I have to activate it before starting Navigon to get GPS signal, but this also occurs in HTC ROM - my old Niki worked ).

Can you post your Diamond Dialer cab file.
Or what dialer do you want to see in Rom?
The dialer I use is just an addon and can be copied over (it's a cab that exchanges the graphics).
The "real" dialers are better, but I don't know where to find here (I believe you can find them in the german ROMs (like BD's one))
Think your Talking about Canvas Dialer (with slide to answer) or? But this is only a 2G Dialer (no Video Calls).
I take a look around and will test some dialers...

SO:
a) Installation takes exactly 5 minutes (from the moment the rom is inserted into the device till first reboot)
b)Storage memory is 323.50 free
c)Ram memory is 137.41 free (after second reboot)
It's fast.
P.S. The startup screen has a whole new beautiful animation.

1. This is phone canvas issue and exists in all wm6.5.1 versions with new style buttons.Hexediting of phcanrc.dll fix this, but I've lost my edited file.
2. Same reason and for this issue. But showcase task manager can fix it I think(I know that can fix resco explorer's same issue)
3.Long press for green button can assigned to any application from settings -> personal->buttons it is tap & hold button.
4. Com manager phone works fine for me and I didn't change anything. It's Iolite's original commanager.
5. I didn't mention this issue until now, but it's very easy to fix. Just associate with image viewer.
6. Iolite task manager, again is disigned for previous wm versions(6.1, 6.5 old style). And it's not usuable in these versions. I plan to exclude it in future versions.
The most of the above issues are because of incompability with wm6.5.1 and are common problems.
The most serius problem in these new builds is that the device doesn't wakeup after sleep mode, crashes and needs soft reset. Did you have this problem?
yes, after I pressed power key I couldn't wake up my device.
Some one ask me if I can build a ROM based on WM 6.5.1 and
I loaded this ROM as I just wanted to see how latest WM6.5.1 build looks like...
IMHO it's too many problems now.

guys, please get this stable if possible - would love one of these later ROMs on my phone. I have 6.5.1 on my Polaris and Prophet working quite well but the Iolite is my main phone at the moment and I'm not very impressed with the performance of the 6.5 ROMs for it.

Hey howerya! How are ya?
maybe you are referring to 23081 or 23075. if you read the posts, it is mentioned that there is a bug in both (device doesn't come back from sleep)that springs from the builds themselves and appears to be worthless for the developers to lose time trying to fix them as new builds are frequently born. you should try 23502 or 23504 which happen to be (as i have tried them myself) the most stable 6.5.1 builds existing in this forum (and for iolite, perhaps in the whole net...).

I tried 23502 and it looks a lot better than some of the earlier builds. I do miss manilla though
I don't really know much about the development side of things but are these newer builds more complicated than the 6.5 builds? There doesn't seem to be much interest (from the Iolite devs) in 6.5.1 which I find it hard to understand since 6.5.1 is so much nicer to use. I think the only builds so far have come from dancer (I appreciate the work btw.)

I myself do not know much about developing too but I have tried 6.5.1 (dancer_69’s of course) and apparently there isn't much difference between 6.5 and 6.5.1 builds apart from some visual ones. I think this is why devs don’t bother to look at them (some devs use details from 6.5.1 but yes, dancer_69 is the only one cooking for Iolite complete roms and he’s cooking them really well). 6.5.1 also showed some bugs (as you read in my previous post) in their early appearance. You do the math! Come to think of it though, windows mobile is on the whole becoming a little oldy in terms of drastic changes in its UI. They definitely have become more finger-friendly (this is the main difference in 6.5.1) but that’s it. That said we should wait for the new windows mobile 7 if we want to see something really new!

The UI changes in the newer builds (i.e. the Start, OK etc. buttons at the bottom and the larger, more thumb-friendly, menus) are a huge bonus (my personal opinion). I have also, however, noticed quite an improvement in performance with some of the builds.
I'm not sure I agree with your comment on the devs with respect to their lack of interest in the newer builds - I have only noticed this lack of interest with the Iolite devs (dancer being the exception, of course). There seems to be a lot more interest in the other forums resulting in many excellent ROMs. Maybe the sheer lack of devs for the Iolite would explain this.

You’re right, I should have cleared it out. I was also referring to Iolite developers. And it’s pretty shame ‘cause iolite is a really nice device with nice potentials, far from inferior to other firms’.
So, I guess we’ ll have to go on with these pretty roms for the time being and not before long we’ ll be seeing WM7 rising!!! Don’t worry: yesterday is near!

Devil version with Manila 2DMy own Cuztomizations...
Manila 2D... Most were my modifications. The skin were from Diamond. Icons from Mega and Clock were from Jade. I turned the selector to transparent, made IE as the default browser and add facebook link in the internet widget. I also changed the Email Widget's background so the mail is no more covered with envelope.

Quick upgrading guide.
1. Download the ROM file to your computer, and then extract diskimg.nb0 from the RAR file.
2. Copy diskimg.nb0 to miniSD (not larger than 1GB)
3. MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE HAD ENOUGH BATTERY. If you feel hesitant, just do all the next steps with the battery charger plugged in to your device.
4. Insert the miniSD to you device. And TURN ON YOUR DEVICE.
5. While the device is on, do this step. PRESS AND HOLD BOTH SOFTKEYS (button with (-) symbol, placed above the green/call key and red/end call key), and HIT THE RESET BUTTON with Stylus WHILE STILL HOLDING BOTH SOFTKEYS.
6. The next screen will be white, with HP logo at the center of your screen. The upgrade process has started. Wait about 12 (about 8 minutes for flash upgrade and 4 minutes for Cold Boot).
7. At the 8th minutes your device will be rebooted automatically. Wait again for 4 minutes for Cold Boot.
8. Align Screen, set the time, date, and localization... and finished.
9. If you finished all the steps, please change your device into landscape mode, and reboot device. This will enable HTC Album's Portrait Mode.

My modifications over the Titanium and Lockscene
Enlarge the image in the Picture panel and the Email/Messaging panel.
Change the Slider to transparent. 2 advantages by doing this. First, my Lockscreen Wallpaper wont be bothered by the Lockscreen slider. Second, the transparent slider may secure your device from other people. Don't worry. Just press the slider's normal position, and a semi-transparent slider will appear.

Issues and the fixes
If you enter these three menu in Settings, you'll get stuck. Don't worry. Just hold Volume down for 2 seconds (I assigned the Volume down button as OK button).
Known Bugs
In some menus in the control panel (shown above) you will be unable to press X button on the screen. I’ve found this issue on every WM6.5.5 235XX builds, so I think it’s related to devices’ hardware button. Most of the new devices with these builds have “OK” or “X” hardware button, but iPAQ rw6828 does not, so this problem will always appear on our iPAQ rw6828. But don’t worry… I’ve fix this problem. Just press and HOLD volume button down for 2 seconds to use “OK” or “X” button function..
Obex Driver. Impossible to fix… this is 2006 device met 2010 OS. But don’t worry, you can always use third party explorer such as Resco File Explorer to freely send files. I also added HTC Bluetooth Explorer which is very powerful.
Sound of the video recorder. Very low quality...

To rizky_p: Sorry bro, I couldn’t add the ArkSwitch. The application works good but if I edit the settings to enable this app on startup or the tool folder, the shortcut turned mislead. A normal istallation would be great. I’ve add a beautiful shortcut icon for you.
Oh yea, I’ve add the battery percentage bitmaps for you. Sorry if it’s not beautiful, I could only get this version. Tell me if you had another version.
To boril: I’ve add the MMS version. Hope you like it.
To W_a_x_x: Sorry bro, I’m still unable to optimize the camera to be as good as if we use the Brogent camera app. But, I’ve done some patches over the registries, so the camera quality works better than the previous one.

Yes, I removed the Auto Data Configuration... I did it to save more space. Can you set them manually, Bro,
I have very limited internet connections here, and the upload speed were s*cks. The speed is about 7KBps and it took me about 2-3 hours to upload just one ROM

No bro. The Manila 2D and the EZInput, both consumes large resources. If I add them both, It would slower our devices. I only add the EZInput on the Angel version with the Universal Encoding.

What is the difference between "Angel Version I with MMS" and "Almost Official" version ?
From screenshots I can see that Almost Official is less customized..
I'm happy with "Angel Version I with MMS" so far only bug I found is already known that for rw6815 you can not access WIFI advanced menu from Communication Manager, but it's not a big deal since I don't used everyday.

I think this is a general problem (human mistake I'm doing), so I will post it here.
I have WM 6.5 with 2.0.1920.1520 TouchFLO (Imsomnia 3.45) and I cant change M2D themes.
I tried aply themes from here:

I'm following instructions on this thread but Themes .cab dont work (png's over png's and so on, clock dont change and no call history line), extracting .zip on \Windows same thing, and importing .M2CT files crash M2DC Customizer. I disable TouchFlo before do any of this, and still cant change theme. The skin thread is closed, so I've done this new thread.
Really apprecciate if anyone can help me, havent any idea what I'm doing wrong.

Hi again, now I know what you mean and what kind of m2d you are using, the one you have is the new one and the one you referer to is the old one and that is the reason it will not work.

As far as I know there isn't anything similar then m2dc from mpenguin14, but just search and keep us informed if you found something.

There is no way to add the Call History onto the home tab like in v1.0 of M2D - version 2 doesn't have it, that is why I reassigned the left softkey to callhistory in my ROMs, but you can assign it to the right softkey - it is up to you?

hi, i try your lite rom, it´s look very nice, but i have many times problem with calling. I want dial phone number and become notice - cannot make call, phone number is incorrect etc. But after turn off and on phone in comm manager, it is everything OK. Incoming calls are OK.
And one more thing, when i run tomtom, device is slow, extremly slow.
And the las thing, how to turn off lock device, in menu doesn´t work turn off.

Sorry, but the Lite Version is not tested for a long time. It's posible to be some errors in this ROM. This ROM is for identify the problems. Please install Full Version and your problems will not exist.
I never install Tomtom. Igo 8 and Mireo BlackEdition is very, very good for me.
OK, i test it next time.... but i prefer lite roms, i don´t need so many programs and i prefer my own otherwise, thx for this rom

menu graphics are poor feel too old and netframe errors are endless i hardressted the mobile after installing rom and errors keep coming

- the font's icon is very small ..we need to make the font bigger than this If you can .
- in start menu the icons putted in 4 band and very small. we need 3 band just.

Thank you It beautiful rom and I use a few days and remove it because to slow than the other rom and hang , icon small difficult to thumb slide, Full rom many program no work.

Yes it is slow because I kept all functionality and to me all programs work very well. Sorry for your problems.

Nice work! I am using the full version for about a week and it is fast and reliable. No bugs so far for me.
What bothers me is i can not find how to remove tabs from "sense" - for example i do not use "people", "music" and "map search" and i do not need to pass through them when i scroll to "settings" for example.
Also, i would add "Clean ram" to the list of programs, its a must for WM.
