have down grade my MDA compact 2 to WM 5 RUU_Charmer_38221_382116_026921_TMO_UK_WWE_Ship rom supplide by T-mobile and tried flashing it to 6.5 but it didnot work, now tried ur ROM to flash it to wm 6.1 but it get stuck at
while showing the following information;
IPL: 3.08.001
SPL: 3.08.001
GSM ; 02.60.21
OS : 6.1.0.0
Can you tell me what might have gone wrong.
Can you please help me.
Can somebody suggest any good ROM which can be flashed to MDA compact for the above specifications

Hello! Recently (3 days ago) I've 'midgraded' from BlueAngel to Prophet... THus I have some newb. questions
How to check whether my Prophet has a CID-lock? The Wiki has no "FAQ" section...
Another thing - flashing. There is nowhere explained in the Prophet section how to upgrade a G4 ROM. My PDA has AKU 2.0, which really pi**es me off, 'cause I've been using BlueAngel with AKU 3.5 for a while... 2.0 boots a HELL long, does some strange things I do not understand :/
As far as I understand, to upgrade my Prophet ROM I need a G4 ROM with compatible CID (unless my PDA has no CID-lock, but I do not know how to test this...). How and where from can I get the correct ROM? My bootscreen details:

Ahm ... you dont need to unlook your G4, to Upgrade the OS with Smart1 or other Firmware ;-)
I have a locked G4 and all Firmwares work if you upgrade without IPL/SPL!!!

IPL/SPL 2.22.0001 -> that means I have G4 device that is CID locked (probably)

I'm considering two ROMs:
- by faria
- X - plore 1.1
I found ShellTool and G4_step_by_step_install_wm6.rar that will help me to install chosen ROM. Are there any tips I shoud pay attention to? Anybody here who installed one of mentioned ROMs on the same device?
i have the faria rom on my machine.works fine.. i've ran into all problems i can/could encounter but eventually it will work.

I've a big problem here with a mda compact II.
The device hangs on T-Mobile bootscreen. In Bootloader mode is

my problem is i have k-jam g4 mobile it is gave to me as present from usa now iam living in yemen and that country in arabic gulf the mobile didn't worked here it want sim lock i take it to programmer and i think he updated it by wizard_love rom but the problem now is most of times when my mobile switched on and any one call my it tell them that this number is out of coverage or switched off and i loved to update it by tnt or wm6 roms what i could do and from where i could start????
I tried to update it once by tnt rom but it stucked in bootloader mode.
Iam so sorry for your times but there is no experienced programmer
in my country to help my only that one and he traveled to canada
