well im attempting to port a rom from the cdma hero to the verizon droid eris and i have evrything working great except the softkeys right below the screen and ive tried switching out some of the .so files and i still cant seem to get them to work... the haptic feedback works like they should be working but the os dosent respond to the action... any ideas?

Kaiya, I would recommend you ask in the Droid Eris development forum, as you will get more exposure for your issue there... I am sure others have seen this problem. Sorry, just noticed this post only now.
Then this thread will be moved there. Thanks dsixda.

So I accidentally killed my phone and now that my replacements here i got OTA and 1.49 again
Just wondering have any Devs anyone checked out how the Incredible was rooted with accessing ADB as its booting to see if it would work on the Eris. From what I understand it only works like 50% of the boots on the Incredible so its something someone may have tried and missed only because it didnt work that particular time?

OK. I apologize for the repeat question, but there seems to just be way too many threads with this mentioned, and way too much sifting for me to find the answer.
I am running Das-bamf gingerbread, de-sensed stripped (which is "wicked" awesome) and I am having a problem both sending and receiving MMS. I tried going into MMS settings and changing the source from Internet to Verizon, but to no avail. Does anybody else know of a solution?

How did you get the menu unlocked to change the settings?

I already have an exact duplicate of this thread open, literally same problem same rom same radio etc. Why open a new one? This needs to be consolidated and focused on in one big thread. So far I'm getting mixed reports. Some people say it works fine. Others say the same no MMS of any form. So idk what to tell you.
I for one know I am tech savvy and am very comfortable with command line and working my way around software, and I know I did everything fine. So I would really like to know what magical rainbow the people who have it working are floating along on, because I'd like a ride too.
I would have posted on your thread but it was like six on three AM and I was on my first cup of coffee.
I got mms working in gingerbread but I has to switch to Cyanogenmod. O only switched becauseI couldn't get my batt to charge with the dasbamf. I will most likely go back when both those issues are worked out

I recently flashed the latest AOSP MIUI rom from Comrom 2.1. I have a flashed cricket samsung fascinate and I was wondering why my 3g flickers on and off and refuses to work. If there is a fix for this, PLEASE let me know! Thank you

Data does not work on non verizon phones when flashed to a CM7 based rom. And I believe JT said he wasn't going to do anything about it. And since Cyanogenmod will take over the builds, I doubt it will happen.

Just for clarification, I have a Verizon phone activated on Page Plus and data worked fine right out of the box using custom TouchWiz ROMs. Based on your response quoted above it sounds like my data should still work since I am using a Verizon phone and their network even though I am not a Verizon customer? Or is it more complicated then that?
I've just started looking into CM7 and MIUI and found a couple of posts concerning data access but wasn't clear on my situation. Maybe Page Plus hasn't been mentioned directly or more likely my search skills suck. Either way, thanks for any help you (or anyone) can provide.
I'm have same problem. I have cricket also and can't get 3g to stay on. even when i wiped and flashed another rom it still flashes on and off. i have to do a complete factory restore to fix it.

Might be different for page plus go ahead and try. I know us cellular works fine on cm7 as I've seen it mentioned a few times.

Hell I don't care if I have to plug it in to boot into recovery. If it means we can take another step forward I will stand on my head to boot if it means finding the right work arounds to getting other roms like maybe cm7 or who knows.

nice... I was actually looking into this earlier today to see how the actual recovery worked(what was replaced with what) and was gonna try to look into it.

Last test build a few of us tried wouldn't allow us to restore a backup. Issues w/ not being able to unmount /system I believe. Other than that, it was working great!

When it can unmount system and restore...
the.process to get that to work can be a very long process...I was looking at his log sheet he.posted last night and it is getting pretty long. Meaning it can take a while just to sift thru and see what went wrong or what needs changing ....patience will DEFINITELY be a virtue with this. U might fare well by forgetting you saw this and just being surprised one day when the subject comes up again

Im pretty happy with my current eclipse 1.3, ics theme and my zeam launcher. Oh and powerboost mod too. Nice combo to me still hope one day we will be able to load cm7 on here. I don't like the locked boot but I love my x2. Might be my last motor. Might not. I just want a phone that's bugless and smooth. With theming capabilities.
The combo I have now is both so despite a locked boot im a happy x2 owner.
Thank you devs for your hard work and making it possible for me to be happy with my x2 without you I would brought it back and swapped for a samsung lol

I have been waiting for 2.10 to drop.
I was also thinking of donating and getting the RC others have gotten. but I need to wait til friday to donate ;( I think the final might be out by then anyways but im still gonna donate
2.0 fixed y? It wouldn't flash so I just did it by hand. Everything installed in seems to be working. Even the power boost mod check that it was working. I would definitely upgrade when it comes out but this 1 seems to be working fine. Internet seems a lot more responsive.

was wondering if it was flashable yet.
im mainly just interested in the unthrottle. since I know im being throttled . I can see it im my tests. I am definitely a victim of "network optimization " lol. can't wait to be free if that.

Yeah I live in the middle of BFE so anything that's helps me since my only internet is my phone.
Anyone know how or have a guide on this? I've been trying to get the T-mobile Killajoule v0.9 Rom working on my phone useing Scotts patch. It will boot and work ok on wifi, but the status bar is gone and theres no 4g, aswell as a few other small things seem to be broke. I really dont know enough about it but it seems to me like it needs to be ported to work 100%
