date format setting - Hero, G2 Touch Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello,
I have question about setting date format.
In menu setting/date-time I can set simple date format 12.31.2010, 31.12.2010,...
But this settings is different from date format in clock app.
Is way to some deep system date setting, or to date setting for clock app?
I want change date format on lockscreen.

I assume you mean one of the HTC standard clocks? In that case open it up by pressing on it. The hit menu>local time settings>select date format

Clock settings...

On the "double analog clock" ,is there a way to change settings other than places or current location?
I would like to set the first clock to UTC and the second to Home.
Would like to know this too... been trying to set the clocks to 2 different timezones, but to no avail.
anyone can advise ?
Example, I'm in UK, and I would like to set the 2nd clock to USA
I think it just shows Home and current location when in another time zone... not very useful unless you are travelling abroad
tap the widget > press menu > home settings
then select the city you would like to use as the 1st clock

12 hr time format with am / pm

I couldn't figure out how to display am/pm with time in 12 hr format.
Settings > Date & Time
you can change the 12/24 hr format there but cannot enable showing the am/pm along with time on screen saver or on status bar.
any idea ?

How do you change the default action when the Photon is plugged into the HD Station?

When plugging the Motorola Photon into the HD station, for now, I REALLY want to select Dismiss Picker and remember this selection so generally, it doesn't bother me again. However, I want to know that I can get the picker back if some day, I want to change the setting.
How do I clear this default should I chose to set it and have it remembered? I get that you can clear the default if you pick an app like Webtop. You can do it by way of managing applications / clearing defaults under settings for that particular app. But Dismiss Picker is not an app.
Any ideas?
Setting applications all. Scroll down to whatever is default now and click it then clear defaults.

Click to collapse
In the second section of my question, I stated that I get that normally, you can go into settings and apps and change an app's default. But DISMISS PICKER is not an app.
Does anyone have any further information about this and how to get rid of dismiss picker as your default action when plugging the phone into the HD station?

I am pretty sure that you can drag the status bar down and choose from there. There is a notification that says connected to hd dock. click on that and you should be able to choose from there

[Q] what action for set/unset "Use 24-hour format" settings in Tasker app ?

I'm in CM9 for Galaxy S I9000, but have a known issue: "Stuck clock in statusbar"
if we set/unset this option:
System Settings >> Date & Time >> Use 24-hour format
clock shows correct time.
I want to use Tasker to make a profile that set/unset this option automatically in every 2mins (1min limited in tasker)
I made a Profile "ICS Time Fixer" and added a Time context tiked Repeat every 2 Minutes.
know I have to add a Task, so New Task and name it "Set Unset 24h mod"
I don't know what Action I should add here to do set/unset Use 24-hour format option.

Am I able to edit "quick replies" from notification bar?

Hello. I'd like to ask if there is an option, to edit those "quick replies" things direct from android notification bar. I mean for example - I'm using Google Keep and whenever i got reminder on notification bar, I had an option (directly from the bar) to snooze it for 1 hour, or change date and time (Later). Now (after factory reset) for Google Keep i have only to choose "Done" and "Later".
Why it changed? I really liked "Remind mi in 1 hour" option. Is it possible to edit those quick replies? Or it was changed by Google in some updates of Keep application?
