If anyone has a HTC Monet / Lobster, who was hanged on the BL.
Please help in the premium for it.
This is the case:
-If your phone is activated only in the BL.
-If you uploaded is not appropriate software.
-If during the ROM upgrade, the process left off.

I've seemingly exhausted every thread here, looking for a guide, tools, advise etc. on how to make a usable (flashable) ROM dump of the OS, Radio, SPL... essentially a full back-up for a "Stock" US Cellular Titan (I know that there's no such "stock" ROMs for US Cellular... furthermore, that the current "stock" ROMs are old non-gps).
I have a replacement US Cellular Titan which is unaltered; therefore, I would like to copy it's "Stock" ROMs so that I can:
1- Have a back-up
2- Re-flash my old unit which I'm required to return to US Cellular
3- So that I can UL the originals here on XDA for others to have available
if needed.
Again, I neither know what tools are required, nor how to properly make a ROM Dump; so, IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME ON THIS? Any advise and/or resources that you guys can provide would help immensely!
I've PM'd the "usual suspects" here (i.e. GC, & DCD) but these Gurus are, i'm sure, flooded with requests and/or other commitments. PLEASE HELP in any way you can! THAnkS
UPDATE: OK, Found a good thread on this HERE with a nifty little application too! Please feel free to continue the discussion on this thread, though; ANY other methods or advice will definitely help! Now, How do we use these bin files and convert them into a flashable ROM?

Fist of all Im Not insulting anybody... This is for our BENEFIT.
After some post and time, in XDA general forum Im exposing this problem:
We have too much BRICKED Devices in wizard forums, cause our devices have too DOC CHIP Flash versions inside and the people dont reads enough information, to know where to go and ask whatever they think. So We suggest a solution... when somebody register on the forum it must be some fill spaces about his device like ours... but it is imposible!!! and they are right, the reason is We cant obligate everybody to do this, even if is an important Info to avoid damages.
So... Flar (MOD) told me that we can get a Stickie Thread to let knows to everybody in wizard forums to fill their signature with the information we need to answer their questions, its a great Idea!!!!
So the hope is the last thing to die....
PLEASE EVERYBODY FILL YOUR SIGNATURE WITH YOUR DEVICE INFO
So let me tell you what Info is important to fill in:
Device Model Provided if not in front cover under the battery in the label that say the IMEI and serial (If you want the name that carriers use, I think is not important but i see some people wit his HTC UNIVERSAL using Roms for wizards!!!) BRICKED PDA!!!
IPL and SPL version, provided by a softreset on the second screen(this info is shown on the second splash screen when device boots)
Radio version provided too in the second splash screen (when the phone starts or boot after the softreset under the name GSM!)
OS Version its shown again in the second splash screen (are just number like 1.0.0.0. or something like that)
The Rom you are currently using, Developer and Windows mobile version too, give to the chefs his fame and reputation too!!! they deserve lots of congrats even the ROM is ugly... cause it costs too much than a bricked device. if you have an original ROM please provide the link to it and all the info.
CID/SIM locked or unlocked SuperCID(G3), softSPL or HardSPL (G4) if you never do the unlock process on tutorial... You Are locked!!!
Its important that you read carefully the wiki Cause it has so much informatino like knowing about your DOC CHIPSET G3 or G4 (IPL, SPL can do it too) there is some Faq Manual if you can read a little too.

Can we please have a separate sticky thread which clearly and precisely describe the procedure for replacing the Official ROM with a cooked ROM? Like we have in Vox Forum - all the senior members has a very clear readme file for flashing the Vox with their ROMs- I found that is not the case with this forum. Plus there is jockeyw's post for spl. As I am a bit confused also do not know why I need to hardspl my Gene as it is unbranded!

Regarding your query, Your phone is unbranded means it is not tied up, or in other wordsm sim locked to any particular provider. But HTC is your provider in that case. So its not really unbranded, its just not tied to a particular operator.
The original SPL checks ROM for whether it is signed by digital certificate of HTC or not and does not gives permissions to unsigned ROMs or ROMs that are signed using some other certificate. The custom ROMs are signed by using the personal certificate of the chef which doesn't meets this criteria. Therefore, the SPL also needs to be replaced with one that doesn't checks for any particular certificate.

Thanks a million for the info. Actually I was confused since I didn't have to USPL my Vox.
But I will wait for some time before I flash my Gene. I don't want to brick my Vox just one day after buying It . I would rather wait for your stickey post
BTW after flashing my Gene with, say GENE_wm6.1_19971wwe fusion9.0_new_gene_GENEs (SN:HT 8XX) - will there be more free space? Any ideas? Or can you please tell me by using which ROM will give me most free space?

You've seen me posting around this forum trying to look for a Neon400 HardSPL. I don't necessarily have one, but I think I might have found a stock ROM for the phone that people might be able to crack.
I have been emailing back and forth with the Bell Corporate support team and here's what they said:

Now, that link takes you to the Bell 6900 (Touch) phone upgrade software. I noticed this and asked if my support person had made a mistake on the link she sent me. She replied with this:
I have confirmed with my Technical Solutions team that the software will work on the HTC Dual. If you have further questions regarding the software, please contact our Technical Solutions Team at 1-877-328-2123 as they will be a better resource for software related questions.

My problem is that the Neon400 that I have access to is on Telus, NOT Bell, so I can't see if this ROM actually installs on the phone. Can somebody please see if this is true (and possible we can use the Touch HardSPL for our phones?)
Please test! We need to unlock this damn device!!!
Nobody wants to test this? Why would the tech support people lie to me? Can somebody double check with another tech support person from Bell and see if this ROM will load on the P5310?
i would try because i am also having same problume ,no software updates for the 400 um im also with telus so i dont have a 400 bell ether someone out there gots to have one keep looking we need to unlock this phone there is so much bugs on it they need to be fixed
The MR2 upgrade file seems to be for the HTC vogue not for the HTC nike or neon.

That's what I said to my contact. If you read my full post, you'll see that she came back and said that, as per Tech Support, this ROM should work on the touch Dual as well.
I checked the CID used by the update installer - it's only for vogue. There is no way the installer will let you install this on anything else. The technical support is wrong that it can be installed on the NEON 400.
