Here you will find an app to set a group of sounds for each ring type; New email/SMS or phone ringer.
You can set up to 256 directories of sound files for each ring type, although you probly won't be needing so many directories. In each folder you can have as many sound files as you want.
When it is activated, you will hear the captain say "Energized". Then after the sounds will be switched automatically each time you get a new call/email/sms.
You can click "Next Tone:" to have Mr-tones go and grab the next random sound. It will preview this sound in your media player (or internally if it's a wave). If this file was located on the Storage Card, it will copy it to the internal memory "\Temp\Phone" and use it from there. This file will be removed the next time a random tone is copied over, this way there won't be a pile in the temp folder.
If you want to have Mr-tones start up automatically when you start your phone, you will need to set your "Autorun:" to On.
If Mr-tones is running and you click the Mr-Tones icon in your Start menu, it will turn off Mr-Tones. You will get a message that it has been disabled. You can then click the icon again and it will open the settings as expected.
(Not) Also included is a "Mr-tones-Debug.mscr" script so you can get a better feel of the script when it waits, it will vibrate once, and then when it changes the sound, it will vibrate twice.

Here is a link to the old Oblyvaeon Ringtone app (I wrote that one too). It was intended to do the same thing as Mr-Tones and does so. But it's slow and messy and you can only have 265 rings for each type..
Mr-tones is a complete rewrite and very fast and much more efficient at setting the random ringtone.
What is next?
Well Increasing ringtone, we can give it the old college try.
When you click "Next Tone" it should play the sound that it has selected.
I think it is popping up with the browse menu after you have selected your first directory. That I will fix next time.
I probly will hide the menu if it is the Autorun at bootup.
Also:
We could copy the ringtone over to the internal memory, in case it is not already there. And the ringtone would be set to that. Then when we next randomize a ringtone we would remove that copy of the ringtone if it was a copy. We only need to do this if someone reports this as a problem. In that case I would add that option.

I also got that error when installed on SD card, but got this error when installed in main memory . It said:
System.IO.IOException:
IOException at System.IO._Error.WinIOErr or() at System.IO.Directory.Internal GetFileDirectoryNames() at System.IO.Directory.Internal GetFiles() ..

I installed it and was able to run without any error but the ringtone is not changing itself .... any Suggestion ??
When you click "Next tone:", and it selects a new sound, is that changing your ringtone? It should.
It should change each time a window with the word "Phone" appears. So "Incoming Phone call" and "Phone Log" (and any other phone window) should change the ring tone. Actually i think it says "Call Log"on my phone, but that's just a example.
I will test some more.

No i have to click next 2-3 times to get next ringtone ,.... but your old version (old Oblyvaeon Ringtone app) is working perfect 4 me .. its changing my ring everytime ... might be new version is having some bug regarding this well let others comment....

Here is version 1.2.
Now I am more confident the ringtone will switch when expected.
It turns out that no, the ringtones would not play unless located on internal memory. So now if the file comes from the storage card, it will copy it to a temp folder in Mr-Tones. It will clean out the old temporary ringtone so there wont be a pile in there.
Also added is when you click "Next Tone:" it will play/preview the ringtone.

Still a bug when done adding Directories that is pops up the Browse Dirs menu. That should disappear with the next version.
Also this version is leaving 1 ring in the temp folder when a new one is set that is already on internal memory. Not a big deal, but i will clean that in the next version.

ok another bug i come to know ..my phone keeps vibrating when dialer window is open .. even when i am in call .. ..... Erlier it used to vibrate when my call gets connected.

Sorry bout that vibration. It's like a doctor leaving a clamp in a patient after surgery.
While I was in there i fixed the first time run issue of adding a directory and then going to browse the dirs when u r done. Maybe i had meant to do that some time in the past, but we can do without that now.
I did notice things dont add up if u take a list of dirs down to zero and then add some again. it works, but reports 1 dir when there are really none. Not a big deal. Maybe next update.

Automatically turn on your speakerphone.
While the application is running, when an incoming call is received, the speakerphone of your device will automatically turn ON when you receive the call.
You can also automatically activate the speakerphone when you are making an outgoing call by checking the Outgoing ON in the menu.
It should work on smartphone and PocketPC WM5/WM6

Finally one switcher that really works!
All other apps (including Phonealarm profiles etc) switch the speakerphone on only if you switch it DURING the call (unless I'm doing something wrong that is). This one works nice. I have a question though, is it possible to set 'outgoing ON' to ON by default?
AND, is it possible to start it in the background (I'd like to run it automatically when the profile changes)?
Any command line parameters? Changes in registry?

Also, would it be possible to design it in a "Toggle" way - to turn the speaker ON with the first launch, and OFF with the second? Then it could be possible to put it on a hardware button as a speaker switcher...
I love your app. Makes things quick and simple. I was wondering if you could add something to it. Alot of times people are doing things with both hands. It would be great if you could set it for auto answer after two to three rings of course coming on with your speaker phone then after your conversation, auto end. After the other party hangs up. Giving it two to three rings before auto answer would give you the option to hit the ignore button. Love what your doing with the Wm5 and 6 apps. I'm using an htc touch 6900. Thank you. TMZ

i mean something that allow me to use the internal speaker instead of the stereospeaker...
I need it because using a voip program, I've some bad echos, because the app use the external speaker and not the internal one (the one that you use when you're making a call...)
Anyway... Any solution for the problem?

I took oldsap's v1.01 SpeakerPhone app and created a cab that installs the files to Program Files/SpeakerPhone, creates the proper registry settings, and creates a shortcut in the programs folder.
This is my first cab I've created from scratch so install at your own peril as I don't have my device with me to test with.

Doesn't work in Diamond
It doesnt' work properly in the HTC Diamond
The "green icon" for configuration doesn't appear ... because is "behind" the TouchFLO 3D
When you try to "select" a WAV file.. it appears a menu with Picture selection
The "vibrator" doesn't work ... and if you try to write a number before the "time" to the remainder... the program has a problem with .NET and died

OMG oldSap...i was just looking for this same tool...i wanted to filter my contacts from the Message ringtone (well my gf )
Program is working as expected.
The only "problem" is that the vibrate option does not seem to work. When i try to test the vibrate with the "Test vibrate"
option nothing happens. It does not matter which number is chosen.

do you know if this will support the palm threaded messaging app? it replaces the regular sms app in wm. It has it's own sound choice too from the notification drop down menu. Instead of the default 'new text message', theres another entry for "new message (PALM)"
So i'm thinking maybe there's a way in the registry to fix this and make it work? I only have 1 contact that I need a custom sms sound for. everyhting else i want to keep the default sound.
maybe you know a way to help me enable it just for this one contact?

Well now I take that back... It is letting me change it, however there seems to be no number that vibrates my device. With your old program 8 worked beautifully.
Also... in your old program I noticed that as I was searching for the LED number that worked, each number produced a different color LED. However in this program it does not seem to change the LED color as I change the number.
BTW my device is a Samsung SCH-i760 on WM6.1

Having the same issue that pharizna had on the diamond on my apache in that when you go to select a wav file, it pulls up a "choose picture" menu.
Any suggestions?

does it pull up a menu or does it open up a file explorer browser? if its browser, maybe the default view is your pictures folder. that is just the file browser. use it to look for the folder where you store your sound files. go up to location and change to my device and then u can search for the folders
Any possibility that this will work with mp3 format in the future? Also on my mogul running 3.56 the vibrate option for the reminder does not work. Thank you for this great app it has succesfully gave me individual sms ringtones something ive been dieing for.

as for the Picture Chooser menu, i used the picture dialog box to let the user look for wav files.
For the vibrate option, i'm sorry but i still haven't found a way for this to work on all devices.
I love this idea, particularly the sms forwarding. Unfortunately it doesn't run on my kaiser. It just starts to think and then closes, no error or anything. There's a brief flicker in the screen. That's it. I'll let you know if it works on a different roms when i get a chance as the rom i am using right now is ported over from the diamond, but thought i'd give some feed back. Great effort though. Can't wait to see how it develops.

after you execute the application you will see this:
after that, click on any part of your screen except the OK button because it will close the application if you do.
When the application is running in the background, any NEW sms will be logged into your calendar.

Just like you said, it shows up. And I assume you assign it the hour length so it will disappear after said hour, which it does. So it's perfect. The only thing I would suggest would be the ability to vary the length of how long it stays on your screen. Like right now you have it set for an hour, maybe add the option for a few minutes or a half hour. Kinda had a risque text and forgot about it showing up on my lock screen when I handed it to a friend!

Great app! In this pic, is the next release going to have a popup (or at least an option to have a popup?)
My suggestion is that there is a popup when a new text comes in, and that when you touch it, it goes away and is marked as read. An option to not mark it as read as well in your config. Pretty much, I don't want to have to unlock my phone to mark the message as read and still be able to see previous messages.

I think this program is great - Would there be a way of making a similar program that will instead just take calendar appointments from SMS messages in a particular format, and add them as calendar appointments?
I get google calendar reminders sent by SMS in the following form: "Reminder: Visit Parents @ Thu Jun 25 - Sat Jun 27, 2009 ([email protected])" or "Reminder: Important Meeting @ Thu Jun 25 5:05pm - 8:25pm ([email protected])"
Would there be a way to modify your app so it only adds these to the calendar?

CHome Editor v1.6 beta
This is a chome panel editor, its beta release, so be warned. Just to be safe, you should backup your chome registry before using and your Titanium_xxx.cpr files. Its still under development, so there will be some bugs and updates.
Warning: this writes and reads data to your phones registry, I take no responsibility if it crashes your windows default plugin. If you do a backup of that reg first, then it should not be a problem to put everything back to normal without causing hard reset.
With this, you can do registry edits to chome plugins, to values listed under the following keys:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\*all plugins*
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\*all plugins*\*all pages*
v1.6 changes:
-fixed Add Page sticking on Page10 and duplicating
-changed file chooser for adding application links, and icon links
-few layout changes
-converted cpr writing to using ATPlugin Installer, huge thanks to AppStar
-maybe more, can't remember right now
v1.5 changes:
-added web page wizard with opera bookmark import option
-added custom cpr option(more documentation later)
-changed some of layout
-changed color scheme
v1.4 changes:
-finished app wizard, has icon dialog now
-added Remove for panels and pages
v1.3 changes:
-added app page wizard; still needs icon support, but icon links can be added through "Manual Edit Item Values" in menu for now
-fixed issue where not starting for some users
v1.2 changes:
-removed panel filter so you can edit all values under plugins, like CClock to set right soft keys
v1.1 changes:
- made some changes to layout
- added ability to add new panels/new pages to registry and cpr

When i try to run the program i get a "specified argument was out of range" error code.. any one know whats causing this?
Finally one that works! (well for me anyways)
Works on WQVGA.
Suggestion:
- Can you enlarge some of the elements to 'stretch' if more screen space?
Bug:
- Back button takes you back to start screen in editing items.

What task were you doing when this error message came up? I'll try to track it down if I can find when it is occurring.

I'll check out the bug. Still new to programming, so not sure about stretching for the wvga and wqvga yet.

In current version, you can create the panel a nd pages, but you'll have to manually edit the page values to add contacts. I'm going to start tonight after work on implementing the ui for choosing from your contact lists for contact pages and from programs list for program pages so that fields will auto-fill with values. Should have something new in day or two.

You can make this change in the cpr file
Look for this code at the beginning of each panel...

And then copy this code in place of it and change the last part where it says Text="..."

This look to me as the full qwerty keyboard, which you can select from your SIP list.

1.2 was working for me yesterday, I added an Opera tab and all was well. Now, it reads the wrong configuration information, and won't make any changes to my home screen. I'll just go back to the old version.
Edit: Guess it's not available. Also, it never installed a shortcut to the start menu for me.
Edit 2: Reinstall added the Utilities folder like it was supposed to. Still, changes don't seem to stick, they're added to the registry properly but my home screen never changes. I have only added Opera (which worked great) and HTC Audio Manager. Guess I started having problems after that so I'm going back and getting rid of it. Suggestions?

What is S2U2?
S2U2 (Slide2Unlock2) is a simple lock/unlock application which has the iPhone style slide unlocking. It can be used as a screensaver while you don't use your device. It has a CallerID function (but it may not work on some devices, so try it before use it daily); S2P control plugin; and volume control. S2U2 shows many system information even without unlocking and highly customizable.

- changed option "Lock Message Preview" to "Disable Message Preview" to reflect the function meaning.
- added option "Snooze time (5, 10 or 15 min)" (S2U2 Settings > General).
- added "tap here to cancel" on the notification prompt.
- removed options "Slide to dismiss/cancel", "Dismiss Notification once viewed", "Mark SMS as read once viewed" and "Mark Email as read once viewed".
When a notification is shown, always slide to left to view; slide to right to dismiss; and tap the notification to cancel.
- when there is not enough device memory to cache a GIF, show error message on background.
- delayed the "On wake-up, unlock by Proximity Sensor" so that it always happen after "power off by Proximity Sensor".
- fixed occasionally "slide to snooze" did not work.

- fixed the system InCall Proximity Sensor was occasionally disabled.

Reset Unread Count

If you need to manually map a key to invoke the new Volume Control, extract the S2U2-VC.LNK from this file (s2u2-vc.zip) & transfer it to your device's \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\S2U2 (for Non-English device, it varies), then use any key mapping software (some devices have it come along) to map this S2U2-VC to your preferred key.
But it assumes S2U2 is installed at \Program Files\S2U2. You may read HERE for how to create a LNK file.

first of all thx for your nice work!
but...on my touch pro 2 sometime, generally after pc connection or bluetooth headset connection, but also without using usb connection at all, ive the headset icon showed and it disappears only if i connect-diosconnet the wired headset.
could you solve this issue (present also on 1.62)...

You can't, it's already set by the service provider or the OS.

I have the same trouble with this version as the previous two versions which is if I get a voicemail, i get no voicemail icon on s2u2 screen until i go into settings then come out of it again at which point it shows i have -1 voicemails. This is on a Touch Pro. This wasnt an issue in 1.52.
