I am using CM7 for the first time, and I really love the ability to change the themes with just a few clicks. I have used a lot of different themes but none of them ever seem to theme Google Talk. I have even used the metamorph mods to change everything else. I have searched all around and still have not found an orange themed Google talk. At the risk of being flamed for asking for something does anyone know of an orange and black themed Google talk to match the orange octane theme.
Mine changes all the time switching to gingerblur theme and galaxy S theme.
Probably redownload the file. And really install it
Thanks for the help but tried that and it still didn't theme Google talk
Are you rebooting after installing the themes? Most themes need to be reboot to fully take effect. You can d/l "notification restart" free from the market so you don't have to reboot every time you apply a theme
Hello all! I recently rooted my Samsung Epic 4G Touch and installed PhantomHacker's Blazer ROM v3.5 and ran into some small appearance issues. It seems that everything has installed properly other than some of the visual elements (Unless qbking77 themed his ROM in his video and I missed him mentioning it). I have the proper boot and power off animations and I have the all the proper status bar icons. However, I am missing all the other things such as all of the altered icons, the pull down notification bar, and the messaging app. I've noticed it's all stock basically, other than the few things I mentioned. Any mistakes on my part? I hope there's an easy fix for this! Thanks in advance!
It's been pretty much stock themed for a while now, he's got a few themes for it, but its been a while since he's had the time to update them to the newer versions. If you check out the e4gt section, there are several compatible themes in the them section you can flash on it, or wait until PhantomHacker gets his fixed up.
So qbking77's video is of an older version of Blazer when it was themed? Thanks for the answer!
Hey there.
I've been using the HTC Amaze for a few weeks and I've had an excellent experience rooting it and flashing custom ROMs. However, Sense UI irks me to no end. I'm currently using Speed Rom 4.0 by EclipzeRemix for the AOSP replacements, and the ICS theme by electronicrice.
This ROM uses the default ICS lockscreen as a replacement lockscreen, which works fine except for one thing - when I use Google Play Music the music controls don't come up. It looks like it wants to do something because the wallpaper vanishes when I listen to music as well.
So here are my questions:
1. How would I go about extracting the CM9 lockscreen and making it flashable onto a deodexed ROM like Speed Rom 4.0?
2. How can I make it possible to add the volume button music control functionality?
Until the kernel source is released for the Amaze and CM9 can be developed properly, I would like my Sense UI to have the most AOSP experience as possible. I am a bit new to ROM/Application development for Android like this, although I've made a few themes in the G1 days and programming is not a new thing for me. I've rooted Android more than I can count too, and can say I'm pretty experienced in that field.
Any answers you can give me would be great, however try not to post something like "Use Widget Locker instead," as I would like to learn how to make a flashable add-on like this.
Thanks!

I'm fairly sure Apollo Player does NOT stream music from Google Play. Also, see my comment above that reads:

Your answer totally wen't WHOOSH right over my questions and did not answer what I asked.
Thanks for the tip, though.
I have been playing around with themes quite a bit over the past few days. Before deciding on a theme I enjoyed, I installed another theme and flashed it's add-on zip to make the package complete.
It turns out I didn't enjoy what it did, and has made some of my phone apps (messaging, email, etc) unreadable due to poor colour choices.
Now, I know that any smart person would have created a backup of their ROM before flashing anything... however it seems I am not the brightest light bulb out there. My closest backup is 3 days ago, and I would be losing quite a bit of custom work that I've done on my phone for the past two days.
Does anyone know of a stock app package that I could flash to reverse the effects of the theme? Or any way I would be able to remove the themed apps without returning my phone to it's 3 day old state?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. If this helps any, I'm on an HTC Incredible S running Codename Android ViVo 3.5.0 (JB 4.1), stock kernel.
is there any way i can disable those annoying allview themes? or at least get some new ones
I already searched google and this forum but with no result.
The phone is working fine except that the themes are lagging the menu.
The phone is rooted but i can't find any cusotm roms or methods to get rid of those themes.
Ideas? Anyone?
up?
up !
this is the final UP.. i don't think there are any devs for this model
Hi there!
I saw that development has just started here on XDA: LINK
I just got my P6 this week also, and I'm relatively new to Android anyway.
I installed the Nova launcher and it gave me an option to be the default launcher, and home screen. I found that this disables the built in "Theme" app functionality, because it lists no themes available (original Themes are: Berry, Crystal Love, New Vintage).
I suppose, it would be easier to replace the Phone.apk and Contacts.apk with AOSP ones, rather to modify themes. Or at least I prefer to delay theming until rooting can be reversed for warranty issues.
Bye!
