Is there anyway that i could play street fighter Iv in our optimus one?
Or are there any game similar to it that is made for an android os?
Uhh, how about MAME?
http://androidandme.com/2009/04/reviews/android-arcade-mame-emulator-for-android-on-g1/
that app is hard to find. no longer on the market, and the .apk I found at 4shared would open on my optimus v, but FC'd every time I tried to run a game. boo. wish it worked.
I read the optimus one isn't too different than the v, so I hope this is useful data.
tiger arcade in the market runs a few mame roms.
Get Gameboid or Gensoid or one of those emulators, you're bound to find arcade games on those consoles.
Thanks for the response..i'll check on your suggestions if i'll have some free time....i think i'll start with psx
I would really like game developers to create cross platform games..I really like to see our android os to play some of those games available to iphone and the like
I'm a big pokemon fan and it's great to be able to play NDS pokemon games on the NookColor but alas--it's terribly slow. Anyone here also using this app? Does it work well for you? Any settings and tweaks that you've done that made it work a lot better? Thanks so much!
Gameboid
Use Gameboid (GBA) emulator and play all the GBA Pokemon games. Runs great, no hickups so far.
Do a Google query and then find the correct GBA bios for it. Gameboid is sensitive to the naming of the bios file (FYI).
CM Nightly 175, Overclocked to 1.2Ghz. SWEETNESS. Some GBA games like Rainbow 6 do not render properly.

but we want to play pokemon on nds
There is no optimizing it. It just doesn't work, simple as that. The Developer hasn't updated the emulator in like 3-4 months now =\... Sucks I know, been wanting to play more of my NDS games on the nook color.
This would be very cool, but I doubt we see it happen soon. I hope I am wrong on this...
What PSone game can I really play in this tablet other than the ones they provide in the store? I mean is there an emulator I can download?
I RREAAALLY WANNA PLAY FINAL FANTASY TACTICS
FPSE works great
Can someome make a list of all emulator that works on hp touchpad? Would be great to play some oldschool games.
Sorry if same thread was before
Step 1: Install CM9 on your touchpad.
Step 2: Enjoy any emulator available and play basically -anything-. I'd list them, but android basically has an emulator for everything under the sun.
If you're keeping it in webOS, there's a decent SNES emulator and was an old NES emulator floating around, but emulation on webOS is seriously limited. Do yourself a favor and just grab CM9 for all the emulators android offers.
Ok i've tried couple of emulators and enjoyed it. But Gba emulator (Gameboid) doesn't work. It's says Unfortunatly the gameboid has stopped. I'm on OaT's Light n Tasty. What shall I do?
I have CM9 A2 on my touchpad and here is a list of working emulator :
Can be found on the google play :
. Mame4Droid (arcade emulator)
. MD.emu (genesis/megadrive)
. Fpse (PSX)
Slide Me Market :
. N64oid (N64)
. GameBoid (Game boy advanced)
Available on explusalpha dot com:
. Snes9x EX (SNES)
MD.emu and Snes9x EX works beautifully in bluetooth with my iCad and Wiimote.
Mame4Droid works perfectly with my iCad.
If you have money to spend, buy an iCad
Xavier
I'm looking for an android GBC emulator that is Similar to ios'
Gba4ios. I really like the idea on playing on an actual
Virtual gameboy.
Bump
There isn't one mate. All such GBA emulators available for Android are fake. You can try any of the following:
1. JohnGBA
2. RetroArch
3. Myboy
