TG01 Kitchen... Any Suggestions? - TG01 General

What kitchen use the best TG01 chefs?
I also would begin to cook something but I don't know where to start...
I have some experience in visual kitchen like Ervius Visual Kitchen, and I try to modify/change it without any result...
I ask to Ervius if he add support for TG01 in his kitchen, but no reply yet...
What do you suggest?

Only convert EXT > OEM

Mmmmh ok, thank you Nokser
I hope you update soon your kitchen!

Is there any software to convert ext to oem?
I only see oem to ext...
Can I simply put ext packages to oem folder?

yes, but cabs you put there won't install after hardreset unless they are signed.
So i guess the cab that disabled that necessity for signed cabs doesn't work for the hermes?

Is it possible to create folders in an Extended ROM image?

Hello,
For my new ROM I was working on creating apps which could be directly run from Extended ROM, but the thing is that my programs need subfolders (where should be located resource files) and I didn't find how to create subfolders in an extended ROM image.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to create folders in an Extended ROM image, if yes then how to do it?
Thanks a lot.
Yes it is possible, you may do so by exploring via activesync or by file explorer on yr PDA.
Of course, your extended ROM has to be unlocked before you do either.

But what I would like is not to modify my Extended ROM but to create an Extended ROM image that I could package with my ROM.
At least you confirm that it's practically possible to create folders in extended ROM!

I have a SuperCID phone with the ExtROM unlocked and unhidden using HTweakC. I can create sub-directories/folders at will. No problem.

Yes but as I said, I would like to do it in an extended ROM image, not on my phone.
Or... is it possible to create folders in extended ROM on my phone without SuperCID and to dump the extended ROM on my PC?

There is a least one file missing from the latest michy rom. Can someone post or mail me a copy of encfilt.dll from their WM6.1 device? I want to try it and see if it solves the problem with encryption not available in michys rom.
that files is from the xip and it does not have to do with encryption .... i don't think
tried to copy it in windows folder, the problem remain...

Could it be some registry entries missing, too. Could you provide me with the file?
it comes from xip as irus said, so no reg files available.

well not exactly, but i don't think this is the problem but you can try to add it and see if it works
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Filters\ENCFilt]
"EncryptByDefault"=dword:0
this is also from xip.bin

Thanks for the file, but I don't have the tools to make a dll-file out of it. Encfilt.dll is referenced both in registry and in deviceencryptionpolicy.dll so I suppose it must be in the windows directory to make things work.

Different persons and different uses, I suppose
For me it is definitely a _must have_
PS. Your rom are GREAT anyway and this missing encryption feature does not spoil it.

Thanks. Encryption depends on several different services in Windows to create a key and storing it, filter any storage operations to the FAT and so on. There seems to be more missing than just encfilt.dll.
Microsoft recommends setting the variable SYSGEN_ENCFILT during build:

Kitchen Basics

Well thanks to many of you I was able to finally figure out how a kitchen works. I was wondering how can I add other porgrams to the kitchen? DO I need to add the filesfrom the cabs to the OEM folder or is it more to that? Let me know.
it's all in the stickies
Also try OEMizer

try my kitchen it has a oem package creator
BTW, you can just add the cabs if you want. But you'll have to wait for them to install. Usually, you'd turn it into an OEM using oemizer, which you can search for if it's not in your kitchen. Well, most packages are available in OEM or CAB, and you'd just download the OEM. However, most third party apps are only available as CABs.

Topaz WM6.5 OEMDrivers + OEMXIPKernel v2.02

As above, for everyone who want to cook it's own WM6.5 with a native base drivers + kernel.
Don't ask to me how to use these packages, use the Search!

This file is neither allocated to a Premium Account, or a Collector's Account, and can therefore only be downloaded 10 times.
This limit is reached.
To download this file, the uploader either needs to transfer this file into his/her Collector's Account, or upload the file again. The file can later be moved to a Collector's Account. The uploader just needs to click the delete link of the file to get further information.
can anybody mirror another copy on rapidshare.com?
Yes, this is the best way to let people like you .

I think you mean the drivers...?
Question 1: I want to use this to make a WM6.5 ROM. Where can I find a WM6.5 SYS folder?
Question : is it possible to cook a WM6.5 ROM with old generation Kitchen?
At the moment I use the Kitchen of jerpelea (-link-) because the new visual Kitchen is too complex. It's due to long to cook a ROM and my system (Windows 7) freezes.
Thanx in forward!

This Kitchen is very nice indeed! It does what it must do, in the way I like it!
I'm cooking now with the, in the previous post posted, Bepe Platformrebuilder and it seems to go good. To make the OS-new.nb to RUU_signed.nbh I use dutty's NBH Tool 1.1.
What do I need to fill into:
3. Signature Size:
5. CID Type:
1. OS: selected the OS-new.nb
2. Version: depends what version and give it name...
4. Device: I filled with TOPA100
Thanx in forward!
